Was supposed to get a refund within 60 days for a wedding shoot I scheduled. Money never came. Contacted her multiple times. She never replied to mine or my wife's messages. Unprofessional. I've actually used her for my daughters one year old photos 5 years ago and it was amazing. This is the reason I even booked her for my wedding. Then I find out she booked a birth on the same day as my wedding and was no longer able to travel far distances. Which with Covid happening I try to be understanding. I just want my refund. I have used Casey a couple times in the last year with excellent results. She is my go-to person for quick mini photo shoots in the local Livermore area. Why? Because she is extremely flexible and communicative. In fact, I'm convinced you can reach out to her at any time of the day and you will hear back. Yeah....she's that responsive! Just this past week, my toddler had a mini session with her. The original place where we had planned the session was muddy due to the recent rains but Casey promptly scouted other locations in town that would work as well. My goal was to photograph my daughter in her Janie & Jack scallop dress that she was quickly outgrowing and Casey was able to do just that. She delivered the gallery later that week and to my surprise, there were some photos of her smiling! She was in a mood that day, had a runny nose and barely cracked a smile. I am shocked! how does this photographer have these reviews? These must be friends and family. I would never pay (any amount of money) to have these types of photos done. I won't accept any of the photos taken during the shoot. This is not someone I would ever work with or refer any friends or family to. she altered my photo's. plain and simple, then lied about it. she blamed it on Ai, which I spoke to other photographers and they laughed. the images are not satisfactory - terrible lighting, no direction for posing, inconsistent editing. I don't know If I have ever dealt with anyone like this is business. I never used any of her photos and requested a refund which she denied. This was a very strange encounter and one I hope the next person doesn't make. which is the only reason for my review. I support small business, but I prefer to work with professionals. read more

First of all I am extremely confused how this photographer has 5 stars. I have never written a Yelp review but the quality of the photos I received and experience both my fiancé and I had could not be ignored. We were (not by choice) given this photographer from a company to take photos for their magazine to promote my fiancés business. During the photos we were given no direction in fact she was asking us how we wanted to pose? I've worked with photographers before and was a little taken back by the lack of professionalism and experience I would expect one should have who does this for a living. When I asked the photographer when we should expect to get the photos back she said by tomorrow or even by that evening. That should have been a red flag! When we received the photos it showed in her work that she spent such little time editing and reviewing them before sending them over. I was SHOCKED by the quality and humiliation from the editing. The lighting was awful in ALL of the photos. Due to the lack of direction she gave us, the poses were so awkward! And I saved the best for last - my fiancé doesn't have much hair on the top of his head and she literally gave him hair! We had to do a double take, we were baffled that she edited hair onto my fiancé's head! When we asked her about this, She said it was due to "using AI" WHAT!?! I don't care what it was due to that is HUMILIATING and shows the lack of skill, attention to detail and professionalism. I would give her zero stars if I could. The photos she sent us and mistake in editing that put hair on my finance's head is inexcusable! Take my advice and USE SOMEONE ELSE! There are so many amazing photographers out there! This is not one of them! read more

My husband and I had booked both a maternity and newborn shoot with Casey and we couldn't be more pleased with the photos. I am not usually photogenic and was very unsure of what types of poses we should be doing for the maternity shoot, but Casey had so many ideas for us, it was a non issue. She took charge and showed us what to do after gathering our thoughts and opinions which was exactly what we needed. For the newborn photos, my baby was wide awake for the first hour and a half of the photo shoot. Casey was so helpful and patient while I was trying to get Jameson to sleep, because I really wanted those sleeping newborn photos. This is by far my favorite photographer. I have done a few sessions over the past 5 years and have never encountered as sweet and kind of a human as Casey! She is an absolute joy to work with. Her work is amazing and just what I prefer minimal editing and very natural. Just perfect. I did my maternity at 37 weeks + a toddler who was not so interested in photos (she took her time to adjust and agree to take pictures) Casey took it upon her self and engaged with my 4yr old she made her feel special, let her choose poses, press buttons on her camera little things that made a huge difference..and I believe we went over our session time.. but that tells you a lot about the service and how much she cares for her clients and their special moments. This morning we had our newborn session + sibling. Casey was on time at our home equipped with all the newborn goodies and was straight to work. My daughter yet agin took some time to warm up and agree to take some pictures with her baby sister but when she did it was a fun ride. Huge bonus and another special moment just for my 4 yr old . Casey, On her way out she pulls out some Halloween/fall goodies and takes extra shots of my daughter who was absolutely loving it. She was so excited to take photos (it was a moment about her) and I'm beyond thankful and can't put in to words how much I appreciate it not to mention my daughter decided she needed the pumpkin from the set up and that too Casey handed to her ... I mean, this women is something. Not everyone does these kind acts. I also know that photographers job is to take photos and has a timed session but when it comes to families with small children little kind acts go a long long way and to me with that you have a client for life + referrals. .. and no I am not a person friend, I am not a family member I'm a yelp searcher and that's how I stumbled upon Casey.
