my goodness gracious. my mother has lived here for 20 years and somehow I had never gone to the little red dog house until last night. I went to undergraduate school and Atlanta and I'm still a big fan of varsity hotdogs. lived in Macon Georgia for a long time and I'm a big fan of Nuway weiners. but now I think I have found the absolute best chili slaw, dog anywhere. Period. if you're driving relatively quickly and you blink, you'll miss this place. tiny little rundown shack on the side of the road. and they absolutely do put out some of the best hotdogs I have had anywhere. I don't know what their secret is, but whatever it is, they know what they're doing. you know it's a good chili slaw dog when your shirt still smells like them the next morning! don't pass this place up. read more

After the epic fail from Jimmy's I came here being I traded the dogs from Jimmy's being they were simply not edible to me. I have to say this is a far superior dog. Imagine 2 hotdog buns opened wide on a white styrofoam rectangular tray with a combination of chopped franks, chili, cheese, ketchup, mayo, mustard, etc., topped off witha layer of oyster crackers...lip-smackin, finger-lickin good! Love this place.... I used to go everyday during a 15 min break I had a work. We would race to our car about 4 of us would pile in and haul butt down to this establishment we had enough time to get back before that break was over. Very good and priced well for a hot dog stand. read more

The Lil red Dog House is the best around! Jimmy's doesn't compare to the soft steamed buns top cut so that the topping don't fall out. i love the Chili Cheese dog, sometimes with cole slaw on top. This is the only Cole slaw i will eat. Its amazing every time I go and I've been eating there for about 25 years. read more
