It has been cleaned up since those old days when the Southern Railway Trains would stop on the tracks so the crew (including my dad) could get their chili dogs. They would block traffic for a mile in order to get their fill. The buns are streamed soft, the hot dogs are crisp to the bite, and the chili is meaty and the perfect thickness for a chili dog. My only gripe is that the chili is very mild, but they do have bottles of hot sauce everywhere which you shouldn't skip! Service today was friendly immediate but I was there in the mid afternoon and there was only one other patron. You've got to try it!
