A Mother's Touch is the Chicago NW Suburbs Lottery of daycare. I could not be more impressed, more…read morecomfortable, and more pleased with the teachers at this institution!! Turnover is low, which to me matters more than anything else. Their communication is top-notch. They treat every kid like they are special and loved. They share concerns in person and send photos and videos of support throughout each day And they are cheaper than a-ny-where close by. And let me tell you, I have done my research. Currently sending my 3 y/o and 8-month-old and this is the only place I think I could manage the cost. This place is the gold standard for what a daycare should be- full of love, laughter, and an impressive degree of patience. TEAM AMT FOR NOW AND FOREVER!

The first time I visited the daycare alone, I noticed what appeared to be reluctance and a lack of warmth from the two ladies working in the administration office. However, I chose not to make assumptions and continued with the enrollment process. I was informed that I needed to bring my child in for an observation. When my wife, my child, and I arrived for the observation, I noticed that there were no Black children in attendance. Again, I did not think much of it and remained positive about the opportunity for my child. After the observation, my wife and I were informed that our child would not be accepted into the program. The explanation given was that she would not fit in because she was coming from a smaller social environment and might have difficulty adjusting to a larger classroom setting. While I understand that schools must assess whether they can meet a child's needs, the way this decision was communicated left us feeling uncomfortable and singled out. I asked directly whether the decision had anything to do with my child's race. Heather, the manager, quickly responded that it did not. However, her response did little to address my concerns, and I felt that my question was dismissed rather than genuinely considered. The entire interaction left my family feeling unwelcome and discriminated against. As parents, we want our child to be evaluated fairly based on her abilities and potential, not on assumptions or biases. Every child deserves an inclusive and welcoming environment where they are given the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed. This experience was deeply hurtful and disappointing for our family, and it has left us questioning whether diversity, equity, and inclusion are truly valued at this daycare center.

My kids are now 17 and 20, so I have no recent experience, but cannot imagine much has changed since we spent four years under their care. From the administrator Cindy to each and every teacher (especially Peggy and someone else whose name escapes me at the moment), it was a place chock full of learning and love. And somehow this flowed down by creating a very strong bond shared between the other families and Moms and Dads which did not diminish with time. Thanks again to everyone on staff for creating a nurturing, warm, highly competent educational experience for my children.

Their attention and care for children is second go none. The lessons are theme based each week and when my daughter comes home she cannot wait to talk about (ie: weather, eating healthy, writing...) whatever the lesson is. St. Marks has very accommodating hours (630am-6pm) and flexible scheduling options. I believe that this is a school/daycare that is truly 100% invested in the children and not just here to run a business. The school also provides a variety of heathy meals. There is also a large gym for the kids on gym days (I haven't found many other schools with this). A++++

My son is a student at this school and he loves it. It is a school for "gifted" children and while…read moreI hate that label it is what it is. The school goes from pre K-8th grade which is a great thing since the kids will be in one school until high school. It is a private school so it does cost quite a bit but it really is an exceptional school. Whether or not it's worth the money I can't really say. Personally, I would cringe at the price tag if Einstein himself were teaching my child. They just built a new building this year and it is amazing. So much better than the old building they were in. Lots of room and the capability to have more students, classes and teachers. Some pros: The facility is wonderful, the teachers are great and really care about the kids. Reading and math are based on ability, not on grade. So, if your 5-6 year old is reading like a nine-year old, they will be put in with those readers. The school isn't even "grade" based. there is no "1st grade", etc. It is level based. They have a GREAT fine arts program. Extensive art, music and drama programs that you won't find in a public school. Some cons: There is a bit of an elitist attitude there at times but I think it comes more from parents than the staff. There is a bit of communication problem with the school and the parents. There just doesn't seem to be a cohesive way for parents to get the information they need. If you're considering sending your child here, definitely sign up for a visit and a shadow day. Personally, as long as we can afford it, my son will be going to this school.

I feel more confident and motivated, and I have made some amazing friends. One of the things about SAA that makes it unique is that the fact that you will do as well as the work you put in. As long as you take advantage of the local resources and have some self motivation to do well, it isn't hard to master the schoolwork and beyond. The teachers are willing to help if you are willing to ask, even when it comes down to academics beyond the classroom. For example, when I needed help for my High School application, or improving my SAT scores, my teachers were glad to lend me a hand. Also, I have to give props to the excelled math program that SAA offers. Where I initially did not enjoy math as a subject at all, SAA motivated me to improve my math ability. I eventually became part of the Math Team and found a passion for mathematics. SAA was a great choice for me, and I got a lot out of my experience.

Thank you for teaching her all of the things that you have! I am truly thankful that i found Kiddie Junction. When I came to you guys, It was at the worst point in my life. I was scared beyond belief with all of the personal things i was going through. I was a broken, scared mother that really didn't know how i was going to be able to do everything all by myself. I didn't trust anyone and was just trying to keep my head above water. I never thought that I would have to end up taking care of her alone and was terrified. After awhile of dropping her off every morning i got to know you guys more and more and i started to trust people again, as hard as it was for me internally. Eventually you all became one of the few people that i felt safe enough again to talk with and to trust. Thank you for listening to all my of early morning vent sessions and all of the advice that you gave to me. After about 6 months i truly felt like i wasn't raising her alone and that I had help and that i wasn't in it alone. Thank you for taking a broken scared mother and turning her into one piece again. If it wasn't for you guys, I do not know what I would have done! Thank you for the past 5 years, you have no idea what you guys have meant to me

If I could, I'd give this place a million stars for the awesomeness that it is!…read more When considering preschool, I was so nervous about my little one who was at home till then, about transitioning, about developing as a person and whether the school I chose was in line with all I wanted. Messiah is perfect to a T. When my daughter started school, she had a hard time napping, the teachers rubbed her back, sang her a song, gave a hug. How wonderful! She said she loved how they treated her "with love" and helped transitioning a breeze. Every time I drop her off, I see her excitement and joy to be back there, and that speaks volumes! The teachers provide an "old school" feel, and it was exactly what I was looking for. By old school, I mean it in the best way possible, kind, patient, loving environment; not the sterile robot like environment of many schools nowadays. The activities change throughout the day, kids get to interact with others outside their classroom. I LOVE that they have a huge playground with plenty of safe, fenced area to play and explore. I think I have a super smart kid (as I'm sure all parents think) and Messiah challenges my child. She learns way more than even I thought possible. Not only learning, but building in a child the yearning to want to learn/read more. Super clean facility, healthy lunches, lots of learning mixed with play makes Messiah just an awesome place. I'm so thrilled I chose it and will continue with my daughter there through Kindergarten, as our school district only offers half day, where Messiah has full day Kindergarten/care combined.

He absolutely loves going, runs down the hallway in the morning and asks if he can go to school. The teachers are fantastic and very hands on. My son attends the preschool and extended care program as well. For the preschool morning, the parents receive an email of what they did that day. They spend plenty of time outdoors playing on their multiple playground, doing chalk and bubbles. During drop off and pick up, the teachers are sitting with the kids and play games/cars/toys with them. This is a huge difference compared to my child's other daycare he went to. In the past 3 months my son has rarely been sick. I think that has something to say on the cleanliness as well. I'd highly recommend to send your child here for preschool.
