I think they have thought of every detail, including a mother's room, awesome work spaces for parents, snacks available to purchase, and free (good quality) coffee for parents. There are so many cool things for kids to play with: costumes, sensory activities, books, magnatiles, etc. I like that they have a maximum number of kids per session, so it doesn't get too crowded or unsafe. They also leave time between sessions to thoroughly clean. I am so impressed by Playful Pines, and I've recommended it many times since my visit.

I mention that to emphasize: this was our FAVORITE one. Ages of our kiddos - 6, 5, 1. It had something for all three of them to enjoy, but the environment for the parents was the WINNING spectacle for me. You shouldn't expect this to be a spontaneous drop-in, because they do abide by 2-hour play sessions, booked ahead of time... but it is so worth it. The 'crowd' was so manageable - way less chaotic and loud and rambunctious and overstuffed than another play cafe in town. The noises are buffered well by all the soft surfaces, and they had little nursing corners for new mamas and plenty of space for parents to sit and work/chat outside the play space, and IN it if you wanted. The thing that REALLY sold me here was the staff and hospitality. An hour into the play time, one of the young women running the desk actually joined the bigger kids and played alongside them. At some point, a kid fell and bumped his head, and she immediately went and grabbed an ice pack without prompting. They also have a stash of wipes/pull ups/diapers/cream etc just in case you run out while you're on site. Now that is just plain genius. We will happily return. Job well done!

This was a great way for my daughters (age 11 and 8) to burn off some energy over Christmas break…read more It is a little pricey ($29 for the Platinum Attractions), but I personally feel the Deluxe Attractions is a winner at $20. If the ropes course was a draw for a higher level package, it was a little disappointing. The overall age range was a little younger - under 8, but there were plenty of kids in the 10 - 12 grouping and even a few teenagers. We didn't get anything to eat, but there was ample seating available if you wanted to hang out while the kids ran around. Both my kids had a great time and want to go back.

It honestly didn't seem like there was an attempt to make it look like they had tried. Stickers and garbage were inside the tunnels, ball pit balls had odd things stuck to them and a large portion of them were broken and just left in there. By the time my daughter was done with her two-hour play time her socks that were brand new were covered in who knows what and a completely different color. I feel like some better policies need to be put in place to keep this establishment clean and healthy for its patrons. I also didn't love sending my smaller child into the jungle gym play structure. There is no visibility in a large portion of the area so you have no idea where your child is and it made me nervous that larger kids were roughhousing without regard to the smaller ones. No one was saying anything to help keep everyone safe, which was a bummer. Lastly, I'm sure that teens are their normal demographic for staffing but maybe a no cell phone policy would do some good? Many staffers were locked in on their phones vs. paying attention to the safety of the children. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

The party started with the girls getting to pick out a dress and shoes of their choice, followed by a full on glam room with vanities to do their makeup, a nail painting station in the middle, and a set up of different kid favorites scented perfumes. Most of the girls chose cotton candy this round. Once all were fully ready they took a picture with the birthday girl and then each individually walked the pink carpet where they held a pose at the end, got their picture taken, and then sat down at the table for a cupcake and tea party. The tea was apple juice or water with chocolate and vanilla cupcakes. Then they would change get the picture of themself that was taken and get to go home! This is such an amazing space and a really fun birthday for your girlie girls!!

The table was set up cute but then she brought out cupcakes in a Sam's container. The kids were excited and one asked for a blue one and she you get what you get, then she wouldn't give them things unless they said please. Always correcting the kids. The dress up was fun and lots to choose from. During makeup the birthday girl wanted her hair sprayed the color and was told abruptly no. Nothing extra was done to make the birthday girl feel special. Several parents stayed and she never offered them a drink. Her son helped but he was really not much better. The fashion show was really fun but the pictures to take home were grainy and cheap. When I mentioned this must be a fun job she said in a grumpy tone- not after you have done several in a row. Maybe time to have someone who wants to do this run it. Not worth $400

I get that the state doesn't mandate more but come on maybe hire someone so it wasn't pure chaos. Oh and half of them their kids go there which I think is fine however the girl in my daughters room clearly didn't like children. You can tell who is there for money and discounted childcare. My child had marks on her body several times that was never reported. I was told they are too busy to document everything which is probably why I was surprised to learn my toddler had been "aggressive" which from what I was told pushing over toys or flailing when being picked up from throwing a tantrum which for a 3 year old can be common however they threatened suspension. And even though my husband and I asked daily if she had an "incident" and were told no she had a great day caused us to be concerned that they clearly have no idea what they are doing. We left a daycare we had been at for 3 years and had no issues there but wanted something in the district for preschool transportation. Beware of this daycare they are still working out kinks and I'm guessing paying back the bank and can't afford to staff this place properly and with people who like children.

I decided to go with this daycare center after reading all the positive reviews. Unfortunately my…read moreexperience with them was far from 5 stars. I am giving them a one star because the staff was always friendly and they did throw a great Halloween trick or treating party after hours. Now, this is why my son (2 years old) was only there for three weeks: * My son has allergies and every time my husband or I picked him up, his nose was covered in dried up snot. * On some mornings when my husband dropped him off, he would tell me how unprepared they appeared, sometimes still cleaning. * After a week of being with them, we received a pamphlet stating extra gym time/sports activities were only offered for an additional cost...What!? * Finally, my son suffered at least 8 bites (three on his last day) from another child. I was notified of approximately 4. The others, we found ourselves, an unpleasant discovery every time to say the least. - On one occasion I notified and showed the assistant Director the bite marks left on my son's wrists, I explained that I was given no report from the staff in the room (not my son's usual teacher), she promised to look into it and to email me...I never received an explanation nor email. - From his teacher- no solution plan was ever given to us, on how they would try to stop the biting. I would have expected some type of plan after the 2nd bite, especially if it was the same child. - From the Director- she too, offered no solution in order to prevent my son from being bitten again. In my opinion, this facility is not prepared to care for toddlers. From what my husband and I saw, they had no set curriculum or activities planned for the week, which I personally feel was a contributor to the biting, due to possible boredom. As a parent of a toddler, I do not recommend this place. My son is now somewhere else and "WOW" what a difference. In the end, my son's safety is the only thing that matters and this facility fell short.
