Ideas brim in my head about my want of learning to play the drums and I queried the gentleman working the store about lessons and guitars and all sorts of things that I could. For the record, guitar lessons here are from professionally world renowned musicians Stephen Nikleva and Jimmy Roy, who have both worked with international artists and each has a very unique and amazing guitar style. I asked the gentleman if it was definitely a C major harmonica, which he assuredly confirmed. Went home and immediately noticed one of the scales was incomplete, therefore making it unusable for me. The F note was missing for one of the 2 scales. That was by design, of course, but what was not - was the gentleman not letting me know before the purchase that it was not a full C major scale. I didn't see the accompanying flyer either, because I bought a new one, not the one I saw on the counter. Going back the next day he was unfriendly, and refused to offer a refund, because "i had already blown into the harmonica". That to me is just an excuse to refuse the refund, because modern day sanitization. would have easily solved that. It's not the price tag that bothers me, but having been deceived and having received poor customer service does. Wrote them an email, but never heard back. Avoid this shop unless you really need their services.

Almost every week we rehearsed here, and almost every week the owner would berate us for reasons beyond understanding. Not kidding around here, it's genuinely bizarre. We continued to play here through Covid and support the owner, Sean, yet even then we would leave most nights feeling bad because we weren't allowed to go without being "put in our place". It feels awful writing this review because of the amount of time I have spent here, having fun with friends. You can be as respectful as possible to his business and him, and still feel like you are a nuisance. Today, I was called an "asshat" by Sean because we expressed concern about getting to the studio in the snow, as we all drive from various locations. He told us if we didn't show up we would be charged (even after 5 years of loyal business), then after we figured out a new way to get there he insulted me and blocked me for saying we would be making it work. I wish there was two sides to this story, but there unfortunately isn't. Although the rates here are good, IT IS NOT WORTH DEALING WITH SEAN. You get to a point where the value does not outweigh the abuse. We had asked ourselves for sometime why we put up with it, on a weekly basis, and today we finally have made our mind up why this business needs to be avoided.
