It's one of the best ramen broths I've ever had! I'll admit it was a little strange to see cilantro in top of ramen, but it worked. There was also shredded cabbage, negi/leeks, carrots and smoky tofu. The soup was super decadent and creamy with a deep shiitake flavor. I don't know how they got this broth so good but I was sure not to let it go to waste. I finished as much of it as I could. The bf ordered the KOJO Chicken Ramen. The chicken was tender and lightly grilled on the outside for extra umami. There was a nice balance of veggies and the egg was a bit overdone for a ramen egg but was fine for his preferences. We also shared the veggie roll. It was pretty simple and tasted as you would expect. Call it blasphemy but I loved the ramen broth so much I dipped the sushi in the broth instead of shoyu. I stand by my decision. If you live in Penticton, I hope you become a regular here. If you're visiting, you definitely need to reserve a meal here. The food is top notch!

The broth was good but not great, with a simple tonkatsu flavour profile, similar to a Chinese style noodle soup broth.The noodles were thick wavy and unfortunately rather clumpy. My boyfriend said the black fungus in his soup tasted stale. I enjoyed my soup and toppings but wished there was more besides charsiu and scallions. The egg was excellent!
