The Nineteen05 is located on the lakefront in one of the nicest hotel in the area. The decor of the place is a reminder of classy days past with big windows overlooking the marshlands before the lake. It's clean and bright, although the AC vents on the ceiling could certainly use a good clean as could the ceiling itself in those areas. It's one of my huge pet peeves as that air comes straight down onto the guests. The service was quite attentive, maybe a little more than it needed to be when we were quite clear we were in no rush at all. The martinis were quite good in spite of the amount of Vermouth in them. K ordered the rack of lamb, that didn't come as a rack and was warmish, as were the steamed vegetables. My 24 hour beef brisket tagliatelle as did my male counterpart. The pasta was well cooked, but I struggled to find much brisket at all in the dish. The vegetables in it just didn't seem to fit. The best meal visually and taste wise was the seafood salad that boasted plenty of seafood and a nice selection of salad. The experience itself was good, but the food let the dinner down as did a ceiling (around the AC vents) that had me glad we weren't sitting underneath is.

It consisted of a winter salad ($5), linguine carbonara ($25) and toblerone mousse ($5) for a total of $35. The starter salad was delicious, it consisted of gorgonzola, hazelnut, pear dressing and fresh pear. There was the perfect amount of gorgonzola, I actually want to take notes and make this salad at home in the future. The dessert was delicious, consisting of pear butter, fresh pear, hazelnut sponge and chantilly. Together, they were definitely worth $5 each. However, the Liguine Carbonara missed the mark. It was supposed to have Gunaciale, a rich, fatty cured italian pork product. However, I had a SINGLE small piece in my carbonara beneath the arugula. My cousin who ordered the exact same thing had 8+ pieces. The linguine itself tasted house made.. however the carbonara was extremely bland. I didn't taste any salt, pepper or cheese. I was very disappointed to pay $25 for a small portion, that didn't have any flavour nor meat. For me to be disappointed with food while drunk speaks volumes. I think this restaurant has potential. Service was great. I would be willing to return again and try something else.

The food was mediocre, we both ordered chicken sandwiches with salad, however I have had menu items here that I have enjoyed better. It was just a very uninteresting sandwich. One thing I couldn't help but notice was that we were given two different wine glasses while sharing a bottle of wine. To me, that's a huge no no at a winery and I was quite surprised by it. The service was lacking a bit, our waitress was friendly but drinks nor food were checked up on.

It's more of a bar vibe with food, but the food was surprisingly really good. They let us do soju bombs, though I hit mine way too hard and sent beer everywhere. After that, they still let us do more rounds as long as we dropped it in only, had to beg for that. Servers were Korean, which was great to see. They also have a billiards table, so it's a fun place to eat, drink, and hang out after. Service: Friendly and chill, didn't mind us having fun Food/Drinks: Surprisingly good food, soju bombs available, solid bar options Ambiance: Lively bar atmosphere with billiards, good spot to hang out 10/10 A fun bar with better food than expected and a great social vibe

If you are scrambling between the mountains doing the Canadian tradition of crossing the Rockies, you'll need to figure out where to stop and nourish your SEOUL. There's a certain audacity to it--the kind that makes a town interesting. You've got this postcard-perfect mountain place, all ski-town swagger and lumberjack flannel, and right in the middle of it, a Korean family decides to plant their flag. They don't just open a restaurant--they create a gathering spot. Seoul Street isn't trying to mimic what Revelstoke already has. It's something else entirely. Walk in and you'll feel it immediately. There's a pulse here--equal parts neighbourhood bar, après-ski hangout, and low-lit spot to linger over soju and a plate of bulgogi. Trivia nights and other activities fill the off-season lull with laughter and beer-fueled rivalry, and when the mountains are quiet, this place hums with locals who know a good thing when they find it. The food? Pretty damn solid - street food with minimal twists and turns - this isn't conFUSION you know! The flavors are real--comforting, soulful, straight out of mom's kitchen, but smartly calibrated for the uninitiated. They'll ask about your spice level, and they actually mean it. You can go mild, or you can sweat your way to enlightenment. Either way, you'll leave full, maybe a little flushed, and very happy. In a town where everyone's passing through--ski bums, truckers, dirtbags, dreamers--Seoul Street manages to feel like home. That's not easy to do. If you're rolling through Revelstoke or laying your head down for the night, don't miss this place. It's brave, it's welcoming, and it tastes like heart. Seoul Street isn't just feeding people--it's building community, one spicy bowl at a time. CHEERS!!!
