My partner booked this holiday for a romantic getaway costing him over £1000,, with priority…read morebooking which means you can and will be booked in at 1pm.and having arrived approx 1145am, he was told that he would receive a text to say that the room was ready and 1pm came and went, at 130pm he went to reception only to be told "oh yeah it is ready. Eventually getting to the room , my partner literally sat down and cried whilst telling me the reason why he booked this holiday. Through his tears he said he had bought me here to propose to me and the state of room had ruined everything. So we complained to a member of management, (CHARLIE) who had the audacity to accuse me of being abusive (talk loudly due to deafness). Not giving a toss about the damage they had caused. What was meant to be a magical moment was lost. Oh and still waiting for housekeeping to rectify the issue and all we've been given is lies, we were told someone would be here around 5-6pm, it is now 8.20pm, still waiting.. See the evidence for yourselves.

What an absolute shambles! The caravan I was lumbered with was only habitable for a family of…read morespiders! After my long journey to the resort I couldn't even have a shower as there was thick mould all around the edges and I would have came out dirtier or worse still I could have caught something. I had to keep my lounge door closed for the entire holiday as the smell of the sofa resembled a corpse. After bringing my issues forward to reception they sent the 'cleaners' to come and 'rectify' the issues, with that, the mould was at a minimum and my roommates had been evicted. (spiders) The lounge however was still a no go zone and there was still WHITE STUFF on the bed headboard! Good luck having any signal here as there is no wifi and you have to stand on one foot with your arm up in the air to get 1 bar. Be prepared to take everything with you if you dare to stay here even down to a shower mat. Also don't forget toilet roll as you are only supplied with one and this place will Definetely give you the RUNS!!!!!

This is a nice place. It is separated into different caravan parks (Beverley, Ashvale and Marine)…read morewith another site of lodges. We stayed on Marine park which was nice because it was quiet. As we booked directly with Beverley Holidays, we had passes which could be used to access facilities on all of the sites. I think this was very good as the entertainment on Marine was just a small park. I'm not complaining, it was nice and quiet! However, it was nice to be able to use the other facilities. Altogether, there are a total of 5 swimming pools. 2 indoor and 3 outdoor. The indoor pools are really just one pool separated by a barrier with a small bit for kids. There is also a steam room, sauna and small spa. These are all included in the cost of the holiday. There is a small gym and a crazy golf course for which there is a small charge. The Park itself is in a nice location only about 5 minutes walk from Goodrington Sands and Goodrington Steam Railway station. I would, however, not recommend the accommodation for those in wheelchairs as it is very hilly. Whichever direction you travel, there will be a steep hill to go up or down. While the Park was nice, the pools were nice and the play areas for kids were well kept and safe, we were not impressed with the evening entertainment. If you enjoy bingo, kid's discos and modern club-type music then that's fine but, otherwise, I'd find something else to do in the evenings. Not that there is a lot unless travelling into Paignton. There were not a lot of shops around and those on the site were very expensive. Also, while there was a laundry on the site, I still had to wash everything again when we got home and, while I made use of their tumble drier twice, our clothes were still wet so I would suggest taking extra clothes so you don't have to do any washing there! The caravan was quite basic but was nice. Had a cooker, microwave, toaster, TV and Freeview and all the kitchen basics. Also, linen was included. It was a nice place to sleep and for the kids to play in the parks but it is preferable to go off the site for any entertainment! Also, we had a full breakfast at Tides Restaurant on Ash Vale Park. It was OK but I have had better. The breakfast was about half the size I'd expect for the price and some of the food was cold.
