I think they also have static caravans but we just camped in a tent. The camping field was level in places but other areas were a bit bumpy and on a slope. The side has a pub, which had evening entertainment in the evenings. The food and drinks were reasonable priced. The campsite was quite expensive compared to other sites in the area but it is a large site. The site also has an outdoor pool which when we went was very dirty with grass and leaves in it! The owner of the site was very helpful and was around when needed. There was a reception area where you could go if you had any problems or questions they also sold some camping items.

The bedroom was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. There were no views but we were there for fossilling not the views from the hotel. It was a five minute walk to the beach and the town. At £105.00 for a double, this was by far the most expensive B&B we had booked on our week's holiday. I think the staff were well worth the money. Polite and friendly. The full english was very tasty, served in the sunny conservatory. Cleaned to a very high standard (I tend to check under beds for dust and such, for some reason!!), I was really impressed. We had a modern television and tea/coffee facilities. Despite this place being 3*, I feel it should be more. It couldn't be so because the room service and front desk is not 24-hour. Breakfast was included in the price (around £125 per night) and there was such a lot of choice. It was cooked to order and we were also able to choose from cereals and pastries, as well as fresh coffee and a choice of juices. The staff were really polite and cleaning staff on good form whenever I saw them.

Only downside is that it all looks like it could use a bit of work. My front door seemed to end a full 2 inches above the floor and throughout there was a slight untidiness. This could be because it's an old listed building adapted to a hotel though, which is a major plus.

We had a beautiful big room with big windows and a balcony overlooking the beach. We stayed 3 nights and it was very good value for money with breakfast included. It was very cold in there and needed the heating on all the time. Our only gripe was the bathroom, it was tired and dated and smelt of urine, even after cleaning it myself, it still had the smell. We were situated close to the entertainment complex which could be quite noisy when the late nighters were walking past. The complex was clean and well maintained, it was nice to see security who actually checked passes. The entertainment kept the children happy as did the arcades etc. The shop inside the live lounge is a complete rip off, cannot believe how much they were charging for the tat they were selling, shame. The pool was clean and my son loved the crazy river part of it. All the staff were friendly here. We ate in the on site restaurant for a dinner and breakfast, it was pretty average food, the guy who was waiting was very polite. It's not far from many outings, such as Durdle Door. The drive out has some fantastic views. We walked to Weymouth Beach/Bowleaze Cove and had a great day out along the coastline. You are also able to gain entrance to their smaller sister site, but we didn't find the time to do this. Last night they had entertainment outside and the weather was delightful and we were able to experience the Bourne River Morris Men. It added so much charm to our visit. This is a 400-year-old structure that has been updated so you have all the amenities that you need. Each room has its own name. We stayed in the Fossil Forest.

As such, I have to say that our expectations weren't too high, but we were so hungry we were willing to give it a shot... and I'm so glad we did! The decor may not be that modern or flash, but the food and the service was great. It's a Friday, so the pub was probably a bit busier than ususal, but it had a nice friendly atmosphere and there were lots of board games to keep us entertained too. We both had the fish pie and rated it very highly. It was full of fish (not sure if local, but tasty nonetheless), and piled high with creamy, cheesy mash - perfect! If you are staying in Lulworth Cove, I recommend this place. It's slightly further afield (away from the Cove itself), about a 10 min walk along the main road, but definitely worth heading in that direction for. There's accomodation too, but can't comment on that as we didn't stay.

We had a top floor room overlooking the sea which was about 40 yards away. great view and lovely sound of the sea with the window slightly open. Slightly expensive but most reasonable accomodation in the UK is overpriced compared to outside the UK. Good breakfast , nicely cooked. I'm a techie and couldn't get the WiFi to work during the 3 days we were there. Did ask them about it but they insisted it was OK. Worked fine on my laptop as soon as we got home. We went out of season in February so not much open, not many other guests and it was very cold outside when we went walking. There is not a huge amount to do in Seaton but there are a few nice eating places like the Indian just around the corner and the Anchor Inn in Beer a few miles away. Seaton is more of an older peoples resort so don't expect Kiss me quick hats , fast food outlets and Arcades. Nearby, the Donkey Sanctuary, Lyme Bay winery and Lyme Regis are all worth visiting for a few hours. The cider and wine place is very friendly, knowledgable and very generous with their samples so watch out if you are driving. We came away with about £60 of bottles because it would have been rude not to buy anything after their hospitality ! Bought a little hammer at the DIY shop around the corner and we went off fossil hunting at Charmouth near Lyme Regis which was good fun.
