We had them come and do some deep cleaning at my daughter's house (she had a roommate who just moved out who didn't clean ANYTHING, for like years), and they did awesome!!! We gave them a two hour window, and quite a list, with the instructions to just get done what they could (we didn't think anyone could get all of the items done within two hours). I was happy with the job they did but they did not wear masks and came late or too early which is hard because my elderly mother in law lives with us and she hates to leave the house so we take her to brunch but 2 hours all we can do and she hates mornings. Then yesterday I asked if they could send a team of two that are vaccinated because my fiance and I have health issues and we already almost died last winter and my meds for MS make my vaccine not as strong. Biggest waste of money! I have a 3800sqft house that's fairly new and wanted just an overall clean. They sent 2 girls out so the job should have taken 3 hours max! They spent 2 hours upstairs (which only has 1 room and 1 bathroom) and spent a total of 6 hours. Literally didn't even clean one of the bathrooms and bedrooms because they took so long I needed to put my baby down for a nap. The job cost me over a $1000! Total bill was $1400 dollars (300 towards the windows)! They get your credit card information before hand so they charge you regardless if you're happy with the service. Not to mention after they wipe everything down they don't put things back or make it look good they just leave it so I had to go back over everything they did to make it actually look like the house was cleaned. They also used some type of product on my floors and cabinets which left the floors super slippery and streaks all over my cabinets. Such a ripoff! read more

I thought long and hard about whether or not I should actually review this company because they never actually performed the service that we scheduled them to do. After a lot of thought and consideration I feel it's important to review based on the customer service and professionalism of the the ladies that showed up to the appointment on 8/30/21. Mind you we had scheduled our top to bottom cleaning almost a week and half prior. Communication from Tonya via phone and text messaging was good. I relayed our expectations of a full top to bottom clean which includes blinds, mopping, appliances, baseboards, bathrooms, vacuuming ect as we sold our home and were preparing it for the new buyers. I also verified with Tonya that the cleaning crew would be wearing masks and removing their shoes upon entry. She advised that it was part of their protocols. Fast forward to the scheduled cleaning day...the two cleaning ladies that arrived --arrived late, didn't introduce themselves or where they were from, were not appropriately dressed to clean a house, and were very unfriendly, and unprepared. Then the younger lady got very pissed that I asked her to wear a mask and remove shoes before entering. She rolled her eyes and said some very angry things with gesturing in her language to the other cleaning lady. She stomped off like a petulant child and angrily shoved a mask on her face. Crossed her arms over her chest and was very angry when I asked if they wanted to do a walk through. She rolled her eyes and only said "whatever, whatever". Neither of ladies didn't appear to speak English! Or maybe they didn't want to? I have no idea what the hell was going on. I am bilingual so I have nothing against people who speak a different language than my own EXCEPT when I cannot communicate effectively with people I hire to do a job. This was the last day we were able to have cleaners in the home because the next day we were going to be moving across the state and also turning over the keys to the new buyers. The cleaning teams supplies consisted of 1 small bag of old rags and one small cleaning supply caddy with 3/4 empty bottles of cleaning supplies. Please tell me how that was going to clean a 4 bedroom/3 bath home --oh and they had a crappy old vacuum with the debris compartment filled with someone else household gunk. From the demeanor and body language of the younger lady we could tell they didn't want to be in the home to work. I asked if they wanted to be there or if they wanted to leave and the response I received was "WHATEVER!" so I told them their service wasn't needed and they could leave. The angry human being of a cleaning person crossed her arms over chest, huffed said some angry words in her language (probably cussing me out) and stomped off --leaving the older lady to grab their mediocre supplies. During this time I was trying to call and text Tonya and she was "unable to answer the phone". I have NEVER experienced such unprofessionalism and rudeness from any person hired to do a job until this point. I finally was able to talk to Tonya of Live Clean and advised how upsetting that situation was since we had packed all of cleaning supplies and needed to be out the next day to hand over the keys to the new owners. Tonya was apologetic but that could do nothing to help our situation and we were up the proverbial sh*t creek at this point. I also advised Tonya that this situation was a very poor representation of their business and that I have never recommended any company to fire an employee until now. I had to then frantically call around to see if I could get someone in last minute! This was undue and unnecessary stress caused by an unprofessional cleaning team. Thankfully I was able to get in touch with the co-owner of Maids of Movher and what a phenomenal experience. They listened to my Live Clean nightmare and bent over backwards to put together a team that came the next morning. It was a time crunch as we had to hand over keys that same day but that's what I call EXCELLENT customer service and professionalism!!! They were professional, arrived early, and had company logo attire on to easily identify them, AND they worked efficiently the entire time they were there. They reassured us they would take care of us and they did! So if you're reading this go to Maids of Movher and support an excellent business! We contacted Live Clean 1 week prior to needing a move in cleaning for a new home and they were able to accommodate us quickly. They gave a fair quote for the job and did a fantastic job in the home. As if that was not enough, we had a very bad experience with another moving company who completely ghosted us with helping unload our moving truck. I remembered seeing Live Clean helps with moving services. I called them the day before we needed help in hopes that by some miracle someone could help us, and sure enough, they were able to meet us the following morning to unload the truck. Interactions with Live Clean have been so pleasant and friendly. The movers that came were respectful and efficient. Please avoid this cleaning service. First of all, they are not wearing masks, and they were coughing and sniffling the entire time in my house. The older woman was rude! When they arrived, she tried to open the door without knocking (it was locked as most homes are). I stepped out of the house for a few minutes to bring over a new coffee table and when I arrived, the older woman commanded me to "turn on the heater. My friend's nose is red and cold." I was also told to open the door for her. No "please", no "thank you". Just strictly commanded to do it for her, which of course I did. They were talking very loudly in another accent, possibly Russian (not sure), but it was all that could be heard throughout my house. I originally was going with two maids and a mop, but I was quoted better by live clean today. I was told that the two cleaners would only be there for 2 to 3 hours and that it would be 90 dollars per hour flat rate. So with that in mind, I prepared myself with enough cash for 3 hours if it were to take them that long. My house is 1,050 sqft... 2 regular sized bedrooms that can fit a queen bed and a dresser, and a standard sized bathroom. I only have pieces of furniture in the house because I am still moving in..a dining table with chairs, a coffee table, a China hutch, and two small very easily movable cubby shelves upstairs. A door handle on the China hutch I just purchased for my new home was ripped half way off. The fridge had stuff spilled in it still and didn't smell clean. So although I was quoted for 2-3 hours, they stayed 4 hours and said "oh we were told 2-4 hours". The older woman had the excuse of saying they could not finish that work in 2-3 hours. I am very disappointed. I'd say as far as quality goes for the cleaning, 6.5 or 7/10. I would've paid a much better price if I went with another company to begin with. Although I told them it was supposed to be 3 hours, I went and got them the rest of the cash, and the lady spit on her fingers and slowly attempted to count the cash in front of me. Don't buy the Groupon - it's not worth your time or money! I thought I would have a "team of uniformed professionals" swoop in to clean my house for two hours. A whole team plus two hours should have at least gotten my kitchen and two small bathrooms cleaned. But no. ONE person showed up, and spent 30 minutes just poking around my kitchen. My house isn't that dirty to begin with - the kitchen and bathrooms get regular cleanings from me - but she spent the entire two hours just cleaning the kitchen floors, sink, and outside of my appliances (I told her to leave the inside of the fridge alone). And when I told her, look, I didn't sign up for a deep clean of high-traffic areas, I signed up for a $120 clean of my home, so please just clean my house as best you can in the time you have, she argued with me and then left. Let it be noted that one star is being generous! If I could write this review giving it no stars, I would. Live Clean is by far the WORST cleaning service ever! I bought two hours of cleaning. Since they sent two gals, I got one hour. That's fine, except what they cleaned in NO WAY should've taken one hour each! On a side note, one gal showed up in a nice top looking like she was going to work a desk job, definitely not something you wear to CLEAN! I gave them a list of things I wanted cleaned, all of which could have easily been cleaned in two hours or one hour by two people. She said they could get it all done. One gal spent the WHOLE HOUR cleaning one toilet in our laundry room!!!!!! ONE TOILET! And they didn't even bring anything, like a pumice stone, to remove the ring around the toilet. Yes, the toilet was dirty. But definitely not dirty enough to take one hour! My husband was extremely confused by what she was doing. He guessed that she must have been in the garage looking for things to steal. The other gal spent 50 minutes cleaning the window track and the silver outline that holds in the window..on ONE WINDOW! You'd expect that window to be spotless...it's NOT! My 9-year old boy could have done the same job. Save your money and hire the ten year old down the street. I made an appointment with Live Clean Today through an online deal, and the first thing I noticed was that the person answering the phone seemed unprofessional and sounded bored. At the time of my first appointment, no one showed up, and no one was answering the phone at the only contact number provided. The mailbox for that contact number was full. I managed to get ahold of the Spokane location. The person who receives calls for Spokane was MILDLY apologetic. She said she would look into the problem and then never called me back. I called her again and managed to set up a new appointment. Note that she offered NO REASON for the missed appointment. After politely reminding her of the inconvenience caused to me, she offered me 30 extra minutes of cleaning for free. Before the day of my next appointment, I left messages at both the Seattle and Spokane numbers. The Spokane representative returned my call. I confirmed the appointment and the extra 30 minutes. On the day of the appointment, the housekeeper came and was very friendly. Her work was not very thorough, but it was decent. I asked her about the extra 30 minutes. She had no idea! She called the Spokane representative at my request, and said there was no record of the offer but that her boss said to go ahead and stay. At EXACTLY 15 minutes into that free 30 minutes, she packed up her things, told me it was time to go home, and left! WHAT A RACQUET! I am never calling them again. read more
