The staff was super welcoming and friendly which is important when you are looking to have a period of relaxation. I do not remember the name of the guy who assisted me, but he was very knowledgeable of the studio's services and willing to answer any questions I had. Now, about the float therapy- the one hour session went the exact way it was described. I had a little anxiety in the beginning, but once I relaxed and floated, I took a little nap. Real relaxation is when you can fall asleep floating in a tub of water without fear of drowning. After the session was over, there was one thing I wasn't prepared for, but this has no reflection on the wellness studio. I tried my best to keep my belongings far away from the water. However, getting out of the tub wet along with my dripping wet hair, showering, etc. must have gotten a few of my items wet because minutes after I left the studio, I had dried salt on my jacket, jeans, shoes and purse. It was a simple fix to wipe everything down and throw a load in the laundry, but I'll be better prepared at my next float session and bring a duffle bag to keep everything in.

The leg compressions, they bring you to a nice relaxing room and offer you some water and some blankets and warm neck wrap to help you relax. The space boots you put on go up to a certain level (7, i think?) and you can tone up and down the level of compression yourself as you sit there during your session. My legs felt fantastic the next few days after this. For the cryo, I think I may need some more sessions there to see the real effects. I was in the cryo tube for about 3 minutes and yes it was freezing cold but not sure it had any major benefit for me. However, the man there was able to explain the actual benefits to me upon request. This place is great. It has friendly staff and a wide variety of treatment and recoveries. They also offer a number of plans and pre-paid treatments at very reasonable prices! I say go give it a shot if you've ever thought of trying!

Breathing in the pink himalayan salt, helps to ease allergies and breathing. After I had left and headed home, I felt better. I don't go as much as I should, but regular visits will keep you in top shape when it comes to allergies and breathing. The Salt Pad is located on the upper level of the plaza, above Jason's Deli and the Mexican restaurant on the side facing Woodlawn. There is a waiting area available until your appointment time. Then you put your belongings in a locker and head into the room for 50-60 minutes of treatment. The staff is super helpful and explain the process to you if it's your first time. Definitely try it out!
