I have done the 1hour float spa a few times. It's a very relaxing experience!…read moreTotal unwind! Everyone should have these in their home. Good experience, Good service. Easy in and out.

The receptionist at the Fort Mill location was nice when I inquired. I will give her that. But this…read morelocation I called 5 times. And got no answer. Got hung up on once. Kept calling. Finally got someone. Put on hold for almost 15 minutes. I explained I was in terrible pain and wanted an appointment. Been to float spas on the west coast many times. Never had been asked to watch a video prior. Who wants to do that when they are in pain. She said I had to go on a tour. Never has that been required. I am in too much pain. I could be there 30 minutes prior to the appointment but she said it wasn't good enough. I said well if I didn't have to call so many times, be hung up on, then on hold for almost 15 minutes I could have made your window. She said she had 5 people wanting to check out. She literally left me on hold to check out 5 people. You think in over 20 minutes she could have fit me in to quickly book the appointment and get me on my way instead of waiting on hold and then saying oh sorry you won't make it here fast enough. We require 15 minutes earlier. I started calling almost 30 minutes ago. AWFUL! I was going to be a new customer. But definitely not new to float spas for sure. Never have I ever had this experience on the phone. Now, I will say Fort Mill location couldn't take me because they said they are not actually open until 10 and half their float rooms are broken. . I can't wait to get a hold of my friend who owns a very reputable and amazing float spa in Vegas and tell him about this nightmare experience before even stepping into one here. When I told the receptionist so then I would have had even more than adequate time if you would have answered my call the first time. She gave me the worse attitude and noise. I finally hung up. Zero stars for customer service. Zero stars for making the first visit too complicated. I don't want a tour. I don't want a video. Let me float. Answer your phones in an adequate time. Don't waste people's time especially people that have had float memberships elsewhere.

We started off with a video about "floating" followed by a tour of the facility…read more Each person has their own room with a rainshower and a pod filled with 10 inches of warm water and 1000lbs of Epsom salt. The pod also has a multicolored LED liighting option and a custom misic option. The Epsom salt provides buoyancy for you during your float which gives you a weightless feeling. It was a bit awkward at first because I had never done this before. Once I relaxed and just floated, I felt like I was floating around in space and then had the most amazing nap. After the float, I took a shower in the room under the most amazing rain shower. They provided body wash, shampoo, conditioner, wash cloth, and towel. After getting dressed, they had a communal space with q-tips, face cleaning pads and cotton balls, deodorant, and lotion. There was a hairdryer available as well. Following getting myself together, I went to the main room where they have water, tea, and an oxygen bar with lavender, camomile, or eucalyptus for as long as I wanted. It was dark and relaxing and kept the vibe. If you have body aches and pain or have a lot of stress, this is definitely the experience for you. If you have mental health struggles this is definitely a must do for you. Having said that, this is not meant to be a substitute but an added bonus to current treatments. They have various packages and memberships available. Also veterans can float free twice a year on the 11th of their selected months. We will definitely be back!!

The employee at the desk was friendly. This was about the only positive thing. Upon entering my…read moreroom I was told that one of the pod handles was broken off (and had been for quite a while). It was hard to maneuver closing the one side of the pod manually. The water was cold. Not enjoyable at all. I didn't float the entire time because I had to get out and take a shower to get warm. The intercom system wasn't working. I was told if I needed anything during the float to get out and call the front desk on my cell phone. Last, I requested "rain" music and got nothing. A huge disappointment! I received this as a Christmas gift and I believe the amount should be refunded. Very unprofessional with all these issues going unfixed.
