Was looking for a lake George sweatshirt to bring back from vacation and Yelped this shop which had cute photos so we stopped by. Once I found a sweatshirt I liked, I took it off the hanger to try on and a woman immediately ran next to me to make sure I wasn't stealing (she pretended to organize clothes next to me), it was extremely obvious she thought I was stealing that I felt uncomfortable and left. Really gross way to treat customers and I was well dressed, I cannot imagine how they would have acted had I dressed more casually. The store needs to modify how they treat customers. read more

Live Love Laugh - Hobby Shops Near Me - Lake George, New York

We bought some very unique souvenirs here. Quality is excellent, prices are fantastic and the staff were very friendly.

As soon as we first passed this store, we knew, we had to find ourselves in Live Love Laugh at some point on our journey to Lake George. Something about that front display drew us towards that beautiful little shop. Unfortunately, after camping outside the store before it opened so we'd be first in line, we learned that it was closed, meaning we'd be barred from the happiness it has to offer. This was a major blow to morale, and nearly ruined the trip entirely. To fill the lacuna left by Live Love Laugh's absence, we went to every other store on the strip. We were completely unaware of the trauma we were about to endure. Each store was more and more scarring; I have never seen more offensive graphic t-shirts in my life. Abhorrent is the only word that comes to mind and we are not yet healed from the deceptively violating words that we read. None of us will ever be the same, and we author this Yelp review to help promote the safety of others. The energy surrounding these tourist traps is dangerous, but soul-shattering inside. We were all hoping that by the time we passed Live Love Laugh on our way out of Lake George that it would indeed be open and we would have one last shot at redemption. Unfortunately, the void in our souls remains deprived of the healing nature of living, loving, or laughing. Regardless, we still absolutely adore this store, and are salivating at the thought of being able to get into the store eventually. I was on a family vacation; first time in Lake George, but our 2nd time in the store. Just the day before, my family and I did some (souvenir) shopping for our family back home within the strip, and bought a few items from the store as well. I wanted to buy something again, but realized I did not purchase it at Live, Love, Laugh. I briefly looked around again before heading out the store, for in case something caught my eye to bring back home. Finally, I leave the store and walked to the next block, back to the store I remembered I bought a particular item. As I entered the other store, a young lady with blond hair, who seemed relatively out of breath, taps me on the shouldere and asks me "excuse me, where did you buy this sweater?" I innocently answered "Oh I'm not sure, this belongs to buy cousin's daughter's, I'm just holding it for her." Here I was thinking she liked the sweater and was curious because she was interested in perhaps buying one. She then proceeds to ask me "was it purchased, did you pay for it?" At that moment, I then realized and thought .....wait, is she insinuating I stoled this sweater?? I was appalled, humiliated, mortified, and felt extremely insulted. Not only did she believe I stoled it, but to walk into another store and question me in front of other customers was very inappropriate and rude. The young lady continued to asked if it was purchased, she wanted to make sure because in her exact words "we have the same one in our store." Never in my life have I ever experience, what I experienced. After the incident, it ruined my vacation, at least for the rest of day. It is illegal to go after a customer once they leave the store and falsely accused them of theft. I will NEVER purchase anything in that store again! #unprofessional #disappointed read more

Spent a LONG time yesterday browsing through the best gift shop in Lake George... so many cute things to see!! The shop owner was so friendly and helpful that by the time I left most of my Christmas shopping was done! There's something here in every price range... stocking stuffers, jewelry, sports memorabilia, clothing, hand crafted artwork and more... really something for everyone! We come to Lake George every year and we always look at sometimes laugh at the signs in this store. This year we're moving into a place where a few signs like this might be appropriate so we were actually shopping for some. My little one moved a couple statues and apparently inconvenienced the girl with long dark hair working there today at about 3p. After hovering over him hand on hip with stoic expression he panicked putting them back (he's usually very meticulous about this sort of thing). She huffed and puffed as loud as possible over a couple being out of place. (Can I just tell you - NObody was buying ANYthing. I mean she literally had NOTHING else to do). At this point she thought we were taking a picture and proceeded to inform us there were "signs everywhere" that no pictures are allowed. (It's a sign store btw). Between her misconceptions and terrible attitude, we just left without buying anything. I must say though, the name of the store conveys a serious irony. We won't be back. All of but is available via Internet anyway. No need to reward bad customer service. read more
