Signed up for the bat tour and it did not disappoint!! John was a great guide and very approachable and friendly! Great storytelling throughout the tour with fun facts! I'd highly recommend this if you want to be in awe of the 1.5 million bats that Austin's known for! A good 3 hours out and back. Be aware that there are large amounts of moss/seaweed/plantlife that can get stuck on your paddle but it is easy to remove if you dunk in the paddle and back out. read more

We had a great time paddling on Lady Bird Lake (aka Town Lake) in downtown Austin, with Live, Love, Paddle! Friendly, helpful staff, and I love that if you go slightly over your hour, you don't get charged for another full hour - they charge in 15 min increments. This is different than any other kayak rental we've ever experienced. There's a lovely cove /island area near the launch point where we saw lots of wildlife - tons of turtles, a blue heron, a green heron, and some ducks. It was really a great experience! read more

Staff was only attending white customers. Literally stared at us and ignored us waiting. Went somewhere else for rental.

The man's attitude was off putting to my sister and I. He was unnecessarily loud and domineering until hubby walked in.

My Daughter had to be rescued by the Austin Rowing Club and the Austin PD. I was lost on the water by myself in pitch black area for an hour. I've never been on a tour where the guide didn't make sure all the guests made it back to the starting point. read more

Fun experience - night kayaking with cool bats and a great ATX skyline view, plus the staff was nice. But I will say it was a bit different than expected: 1) it was actually a longer, harder ride than a chill paddle (we were exhausted after the long ride back) 2) the view of the bats weren't AS clear or insanely amazing as photos make it seem - there are a lot of them but they're tiny and far 3) there were a lottt of people on this tour, more than there maybe should be. Overall still good and worth doing once, imo! Def a better view than if you were just standnig on the bridge. read more

Staff at the office was awesome, she was so helpful and kind. Staff that sent us out on the water were great too. The paddling itself was so fun and relaxing. Just make sure to be hydrated, bring a hat and sunscreen bc there is no shade unless you hang out by a bridge. The view was so cool too, I wish I took more pictures! I would bring a water-proof pouch for my phone next time, the type that has a strap to hang around my neck. We will definitely be using their services again! read more

Great evening. Would have been better if the guides could have towed our double rafts to the bridge and not just on the way back. It was far more work than what we wanted for a relaxing view of bats. The tow back in the evening was awesome and allowed us to enjoy the views much more!! read more

The guides were friendly, helpful, and made sure everyone was comfortable (safe) once we got on the water. The communication before, during, and after the paddle was very clear and the guides were very knowledgeable too! And it was a legit paddle down the river and back - not just paddle out to the bridge and wait. It was lots of fun and made for some great photos! read more

Very friendly 's up staff in em territory! Easy going paddle guides made everyone feel at home with good conversation throughout the outing. Family of 5 had a great time.
