Kaley is WONDERFUL. We were so hesitant and honestly embarrassed to have to hire a sleep consultant for our son (we never had these issues with our daughter). But we were more desperate for rest after months of sleepless nights. My son is primarily breastfed unless he is at daycare where he takes a bottle. He was a great sleeper until he turned about 5 months old when he started waking up screeching mad and nothing (and I mean nothing) would soothe him except for nursing him. We can't thank Kaley enough, who was recommended by our pediatrician. She helped our baby finally sleep throughout the night. Initially our baby had been waking up on the hour every hour for the first five hours. She would need to be rocked to sleep on our shoulder, or sometimes rocked to sleep in the stroller each time. We were frustrated and sleep deprived especially for the first half of the night. We eventually decided to do the in home support and Kaley spent a few hours with us on the first night. First the consultation and then helping our daughter sleep, by evaluating our sleeping environment and then showing us the method to help our daughter sleep on her own. We had Voxer/chat support for the next two weeks and a log to record our progress. We are very grateful that Kaley intervened as within 2 weeks we were seeing progress. I sleep trained my twins 9 years ago using the Ferber method but with my third, exclusively breast fed, 9 month old baby-- I was his pacifier and couldn't let him cry. He would wake up up to 10 times every night. All naps were either in a carrier, my arms or a stroller. I didn't think he could sleep through the night without milk! Luckily I found Jaime with Live, Love, Sleep and their gentle sleep training method! I chose Jaime-- not just for my baby but because I needed the support. I see you, exhausted mom, dad, human being ... Googling in the middle of another sleepless night, trying desperately to find a solution to your infant's sleep challenges. That was me just a month ago, and then I came across this business. I'm certainly a skeptic and I was not inclined to buy into the reviews, but hopelessness made me take a leap of faith. I scheduled a 15 minute consult call with Kaley, owner of Live, Love, Sleep and, admittedly, I was optimistic after our conversation that this might just be worth my time and money. She was professional, compassionate and genuinely seemed to be interested in finding solutions to the many challenges my husband and I were facing with our daughter of 4 months. We spent a week deliberating, asking question after question via email, which Kaley answered thoroughly and patiently, after which we pulled the trigger and signed up for Kaley's services. To be honest, I still wasn't convinced that this would work, even as the hour came for her arrival in our home (we went with her standard package). My husband and I both could not believe that a single person with a sleep plan could change our daughter's (and our) life. Kaley arrived on time for our evening together and was so exceptionally nice. You can feel her realness, both as a mother herself and as a professional. She was sharply dressed, sleep plan in hand and took her time going over each and every portion of the process, asking probing questions to truly ensure we understood the process. Kaley was very nice and had some good tips, however, her plan didn't seem to fit with our toddler's personality and specific struggles. Additionally, things only worsened once he learned to climb out of his crib and any follow-up advice is only available at a significant price. After 2 1/2 years of bad sleep and one long, long summer, I finally cracked. I needed to do something. Kaley is a life saver! I can't even begin to explain how much her sleep training methods and support benefited my entire family. My baby had actually been a decent sleeper as a newborn but then the night before I went back to work from maternity leave she went through a sleep regression and it got so bad that she wouldn't fall asleep unless someone was holding her; she would wake up and scream any time we tried laying her back down in her bassinet.
