Although I have a bit of a fear of needles, our weekly visit for our shots has actually turned into a time we look forward to, thanks to the incredible nursing staff. Our shot nurse, Jill, provides us with our shots weekly and is truly incredible. She takes our health and her job seriously, by confirming any previous reactions, ensuring we have had our antihistamine and have our emergency epipens. As a busy adult, I appreciate this reminder seeing as at the end of the day reactions CAN happen and by her friendly check-in's it allows us to be prepared for a reaction IN office but more importantly an unexpected reaction once off the premise. I always feel like the best review or compliment is a referral and we have actually just changed our children from their pediatric allergist to MAAC also. Their patience and understanding with our littles gives me even more reason to rave about this staff. We literally trust them with our lives. My spine surgeon recommended Dr. Aduddell who than pinpointed what he recognized as the problems and within a few weeks performed a bilateral ablation on multiple areas of the spine. I am able to enjoy physical activities including playing golf. This is the second time that he has performed this minimal invasive procedure with precision and the results have been phenomenal. Activities are enjoyable again. I am in my middle 70's but feel much younger and active. I highly recommend him.

But I blew off that red flag. When I broke my ankle, in 2023, my surgeon released me and advised me to go to a pain management doctor. So I naturally went to Dr Aduddell. He had a really nasty attitude about helping me with the pain from breaking my ankle and surgery. He doesn't have the ability to empathize. I never went back to him. I have since needed 2 additional surgeries on my ankle. And thank God I found a great pain management doctor who has helped me tremendously. Dr Harpavat has personal experience with broken ankles and understands completely the relation between back and ankle. Dr Harpavat diagnosed me with CRPS. Just remember when choosing a pain doctor - you have a choice!

It got denied (duh?) and I was being billed $23,000!! I had to hound my insurance company for months to get it dropped. It's clear that patients are just cash cows for the clinic to move through quickly and without compassion. The nurse practitioner is petty, vile, and unprofessional. She absolutely discriminated against me for having chronic neck pain and using a low dose of Tramadol daily to manage it. She made me feel like a drug addict, which is insane, because if I was truly a drug addict I would be asking for a waaaaayy more than just Tramadol (my partner has been in recovery for 13 yrs). The office manager must be her bestie because she also has a really bad attitude and interrupts you filling out forms by insisting to follow you to the bathroom for urine tests. Like ok I have nothing to hide, IDK what your deal is but this intimidation thing is weird and offensive. BFFR. I absolutely hate the fake smile, too. Oh, and they are getting their petty little revenge for me complaining about their behavior to Dr. Maheshwari by sabotaging my disability claim. It's funny because before I complained, Dr. Maheshwari was in full support of my disability claim due to multiple diagnosed conditions that affect my heart, my immune system, and my bones and cartilage. Instead of turning in paperwork that reflects that, the office manager decided to sign off saying that I can work 40 hours a week with no issues and have 0 restrictions. I have had 12 surgeries just in the last year for my complex medical issues, 2 of them being major heart operations. The lack of professionalism here is actually laughable and malignant. This entire practice has been a detriment to my health and wellbeing, and I hope all of them step on legos. As soon as I went to another doctor, I received a proper diagnosis and care for my pain. The discharge paperwork said to eat whatever I wanted, but the surgeon gave me specific guidance, a handout, on a full liquid diet until my post-op appointment in 3 weeks. I am following her guidance, of course, but the discharge paperwork should say something like: follow your doctor's specific instructions. Also, I did not receive a call checking in on my status after I was discharged. I did follow up with my surgeon's office via MyChart with questions and eventually received a call from her nurse helping me with some minor post op issues, but 5 days after my surgery. In the past, I thought someone from either the doctor's office or the hospital itself called to check on the patient within a day or two (from our prior experience with Texas Health Frisco). Also, my husband stayed with me in the room overnight and I had to ask the nurses for him to be provided pillows and blankets, that would have been nice if the nurses attending me would have asked If he needed anything or even allow a caretaker meal. When I stayed at Baylor McKinney to deliver our youngest daughter over a decade ago, they allowed my husband to have a meal or two per each 24 hours of my stay at the hospital. Since I was on a full liquid diet post op, I wasn't having much or anything and I don't think It would have cost a lot to allow the 1 family member staying to take care of me be more comfortable. I understand these are super minor issues, but I would say that would bring my review up to a 5. Overall, the hospital is very clean, bright, welcoming, all the doctors, nurses, and staff were very helpful, attentive and patient, and I would absolutely recommend your hospital to anyone.
