The gift shop was so cute and they offered a small amount of concessions type of snacks. The main building also had clean restrooms and an area with picnic tables. Birds... So many birds... More than Alfred Hitchcock could ever imagine!!! Our favorite animals that we saw were the camel, the many peacocks, zebras, and the prairie dog. Of course the miniature goats were also adorable. It looks like they are still building out the space for future animals and human guest. Excited to go back to see what is new in the future!

This place is HUGE, and the diversity of animals completely surprised us. Everywhere you turn there's something new to see. The birds alone are incredible especially the peacocks. They were absolutely stunning, with so many different colors and patterns. We could've stayed there just watching them for a while. One of the wildest parts was the ostrich just casually hanging out without a closed cage you can get pretty close, which is both exciting and slightly intimidating at the same time They also have zebras, snakes, camels, and more. The camel, Camelot (yes, that's his name ), completely stole the show for us. Such a funny personality the kids and I loved him. It felt like a mix between a zoo and a ranch, but way more relaxed and interactive. The kids had an amazing time, and honestly, so did we. Definitely a fun family outing if you're in the area! $20 bucks per person

I'd like to start by saying I'm not a complainer. I understand stuff happens…read more But today we drove 40 minutes to get to Madrac Farms. The gravel road into it was blocked off, and instead there was a dirt road full of humongous potholes, filled with woodchips! I've never driven slower in my life....what the heck? There was a long line to get down this road....then when we get to the parking lot, after 10 minute down the drive, the parking lot is full. Probably 100 cars driving slowly around the parking area, hoping someone will miraculously leave, and hoping you're in the right place at the right time. There were no employees in the parking lot directing anyone. So rather than a corn-maze, we spent literally 30 minutes in a parking-lot-maze, trying to get the heck out of there. I understand people probably swarmed the place, due to the covid lockdown we live in. But we promised our two-year-old pumpkins and goats. Instead she got 2 hours in her car seat, and a trip to Walmart to get a pumpkin and a toy, for being so well-behaved during this waste of time. If the owners read this, I would advise the following: 1) get a proper road (gravel is great, not potholes and woodchips) 2) build a larger parking area 3) have some employees out there directing traffic 4) if you're over-capacity, turn people away at the main road!! I wish the owners success in their venture. Business owner myself. But I guarantee, we will not be back.

Yesterday the garden was visited by a SCAD class and their professor. It was interesting to see the plants the students chose to sketch. A young couple had their engagement photos taken on the other side of the garden. You never know what you will experience in Savannah and this garden is always a nice break from the hustle of the city. Thank you to the trustees that have saved this beauty for our beloved city.

Part of a HVAC team by day, Dave's real passion lies in the dirt! And his farm stand delivers! Modern, clean facility with comfortable porch chairs with cushions. The fresh grown offering are limited to blueberry, strawberry and fig offerings. However, there are garden fresh offerings of okra., potatoes and onions and the occasional odd garden item! Dave even offers fresh eggs, The on-site grown, these blueberries are sweet with tender skins. Berries range in size from medium small up to "Rabbit Eye" size. You can't go wrong...

She was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and kind--especially with our three small children. Lorie gave us a brief history of how the museum started and explained the items came from Mr. Webb's personal collection. She answered all of the kids' questions with patience and kindness, which made the experience even more enjoyable for our family. The collection itself is very impressive, featuring artifacts from the U.S., Germany, the Vietnam era, and even items connected to Hussein. There is so much to see and learn. We truly appreciated the warm welcome and the time Lorie spent with us. It made our visit memorable!

A privately owned military museum, this is no more than a large room, but is packed with historic…read morememorabilia. While the owner was not there the day I visited, the retired Army medic who was working was nonetheless able to provide a lot of detailed information about the provenance of some of the artifacts. Pretty much the whole military history of the country is covered, and while you certainly won't get a comprehensive historical treatise, for someone who is already knowledgeable, the details here will add color to textbook history. For me, I had to settle for this after finding that Parris Island was closed to non-service members for the weekend, and while it certainly is nothing like that experience would have been, this little museum nonetheless provides a compelling entry to the variety of historical sites in Savannah.

The hostess for today's event was warm and inviting. As I entered the door, I was bursting with excitement to see the themes throughout the museum. The second hostess gave me a tour and gave me instructions on how to take photos and making sure my photo clicker was synced to my phone via Bluetooth. I felt like a kid again just taking selfie's throughout the museum. The pricing is reasonable and there are student prices.
