The gravel road into it was blocked off, and instead there was a dirt road full of humongous potholes, filled with woodchips! I've never driven slower in my life....what the heck? There was a long line to get down this road....then when we get to the parking lot, after 10 minute down the drive, the parking lot is full. Probably 100 cars driving slowly around the parking area, hoping someone will miraculously leave, and hoping you're in the right place at the right time. There were no employees in the parking lot directing anyone. So rather than a corn-maze, we spent literally 30 minutes in a parking-lot-maze, trying to get the heck out of there. I understand people probably swarmed the place, due to the covid lockdown we live in. But we promised our two-year-old pumpkins and goats. Instead she got 2 hours in her car seat, and a trip to Walmart to get a pumpkin and a toy, for being so well-behaved during this waste of time. If the owners read this, I would advise the following: 1) get a proper road (gravel is great, not potholes and woodchips) 2) build a larger parking area 3) have some employees out there directing traffic 4) if you're over-capacity, turn people away at the main road!! I wish the owners success in their venture. Business owner myself. But I guarantee, we will not be back.

You can still find parking a couple of blocks away, but the area had a cramped feeling that it usually does not. The reason for this, I assume, is that this is a pretty impressive market as these things go. The setup is on a green square and allows plenty of opportunity to sit and eat or otherwise enjoy oneself, but shade is also available and there are some bathroom facilities on the square. The vendors were a good variety for a market of this size, including several fresh vegetables and local rice, but also baked goods and some of the sort of prepared food that you'd be more inclined to eat on the spot. Prices were high, as one might expect. But I don't think that anyone inclined to shop here would not find something distinctive and local to be worth paying money for.

Since I was hungry I stopped at this booth that had dumplings or lo mein noodles. The dumplings were not reading so I got the lo mein had very little vegetables and the lo mein was okay not the best I ever had just average. Next I went to a particular vegetable stand that I have been to before with great success. Meaning I got home and the purchases were good. Last week I got a cantaloupe and tomato here. This week needed peaches for my Mother In Law. They were firm and the size of a baseball. Six of them weighed in at $17. Next I stopped at a booth that had pralines. I chose one with walnuts $3.00. The taste was very buttery and really hit the spot. Just as I headed back to the car it started to rain. So glad to just miss it. Note all vendors have covers over their booths. To protect their items and to keep out of the sun/rain. Definitely will continue to come here as I love the small town flair and every one is so nice and friendly.

The gift shop was so cute and they offered a small amount of concessions type of snacks. The main building also had clean restrooms and an area with picnic tables. Birds... So many birds... More than Alfred Hitchcock could ever imagine!!! Our favorite animals that we saw were the camel, the many peacocks, zebras, and the prairie dog. Of course the miniature goats were also adorable. It looks like they are still building out the space for future animals and human guest. Excited to go back to see what is new in the future!

This place is HUGE, and the diversity of animals completely surprised us. Everywhere you turn there's something new to see. The birds alone are incredible especially the peacocks. They were absolutely stunning, with so many different colors and patterns. We could've stayed there just watching them for a while. One of the wildest parts was the ostrich just casually hanging out without a closed cage you can get pretty close, which is both exciting and slightly intimidating at the same time They also have zebras, snakes, camels, and more. The camel, Camelot (yes, that's his name ), completely stole the show for us. Such a funny personality the kids and I loved him. It felt like a mix between a zoo and a ranch, but way more relaxed and interactive. The kids had an amazing time, and honestly, so did we. Definitely a fun family outing if you're in the area! $20 bucks per person
