Luckily, it was actually the sign that drew me to Journey Fellowship, because it looked more modern, just like I'm used to. My first experience at Journey Fellowship was wonderful and I knew this would be my home church from the moment I walked in. I was greeted promptly with smiling faces, and even was provided with some informative pamphlets and given a tour. There is a large coffee house right in the lobby area of the church along with tables, chairs, couches for people to linger and socialize before and after church. There are large bookcases all over showcasing a broad collection of religous books and bibles. You are even welcome to take your coffee right into the Sanctuary to enjoy during the service! The music is awesome and the services have so far been great. Communion is done weekly and it is a self-serve style, meaning the cups and bread are set out on tables, and you leave your seat to go get it. The whole atmosphere of the church is dark yet welcoming. There are tons of candles lit all over the place, and there are even some couches and tables with chairs in the sanctuary to sit on/at during the service, in case you would like to get comfy, or if you want a table to set your coffee on. If I could rate this church more than 5 stars, I would. I have never felt more at home in a church so quickly.

The groups are mixed , young and old, and this church welcome visitors warmly with open arms. I always feel welcome, their masses are so well-organized from volunteers and different church groups. Their pastors, priests, and deacons, have sermons that are applicable and with simple take-home messages , easy to remember and apply outside of church. Special thanks to Fr. The fall festival and auction is top notch and the Trash to Treasure in the gymnasium is unbelievable. All year long, they collect goods and at Trash to Treasure, you can buy anything you have ever wanted for much less than even Goodwill. The church holds financial sessions, marital sessions, has an in house counselor, and a fine staff. I am partial to this place because it is where I got married. The process is long but it was so worth it. Their musical coordinator actually sang Ava Maria. It was very nice. I love OLPH. They have a school for kids and a waiting list for daycare that you should get on now if you are even planning on having children.

It's a safe hang-out space and we are very happy they offer this. He had so much fun talking about the different activities such as ping pong, tag, basketball, and cards. It is also nice for him to unplug from video games. They also offer a drive-thru prayer on Wednesday and host holiday events such as the annual Christmas party for kids. I attended Revolution Church for about nine years before moving out of the area, and during that…read moretime I was there for the vast majority of Sundays and involved in a couple of small groups. Over nearly a decade, I saw certain things evolve while others stayed rock-solid. What never changed was how warm and genuine Pastor Zach and his wife, Amber, are. They make a real effort to connect with people on a personal level, and I'm grateful to have built a relationship with them. Another constant is what the church is built on - the Bible. The sermons, the mission, and the definition of what it means to follow Christ all come directly from Scripture. In a world that feels upside-down sometimes, Revolution has always kept a steady, Bible-centered direction. What did change is the size. Attendance has more than doubled since I first started going, all in the same building. On major holidays, it's packed to the point where seating gets tight. The truth is that the building wasn't originally designed to be a church, so the need for a dedicated worship space is real. Because of that, they do ask for donations once each service - just like any other church. I've seen a couple reviews saying they didn't like that, but in my experience the giving here is both necessary and used responsibly for actual church needs. In short: the pastors are genuinely great people, the congregation is welcoming and passionate about their faith, and the teaching stays firmly rooted in the Bible. Not every church environment fits everyone's preferences, but from my years there, it would be tough to find another that checks as many boxes as this one.
