After I applied for the place and the landlord requested additional information on top of the initial requirements, Nick informed me immediately, and was always available to answer questions and confirm that documents were valid - if he was busy or driving somewhere, he would let me know exactly when he could check certain things, and he never once failed to deliver. All in all, Nick was a phenomenally reliable, proactive, personable, and diligent realtor, and he did all of this for me even though he didn't stand to make much money out of it, as compared to some of his other clientele. To quote him, he was "determined to make this work", and made every effort to do so, despite a lot of difficulties on the landlord side of things. I was doing a cross-country move, and my requirements were fairly specific. Despite all of the difficulties, Nick came through perfectly every single time something happened, and it is safe to say I would not be living where I am right now without his help. Even after his pay was secured and he had no further obligation to do anything for me, he continued to go out of his way to help, ensuring that I got some documentation I requested from another person in the process for no other reason than to make my life easier. I have seen plenty of realtors over the years - one of my relatives works in the real estate market - and Nick is by far the best I have ever seen. Seriously - I cannot recommend Nick Lamart enough. He was incredible throughout this whole process, and he will be my first pick for any future moves. Before showing me any listings that he had available that met my criteria, Mr. Rymer sat down to discuss each listing, associated fees such as heat/hot water, and answered any questions that I might have before viewing available apartments even offering a pen and a notepad to take along in case I wanted to make notes. Upon viewing the apartments, Mr. Rymer gave me ample information to make an informed decision such as whether the landlord or leasing agent pays some or all of the broker's fees, what would be included in the rent, and how close the apartment was to public transportation. As an out-of-state renter, choosing Live Reality was an easy option. This business not only has the best selection of realty, it also has the best service. While the Boston housing market can be expensive, Live Realty respects your budget and shows you places that will get you the most for your money. Additionally, Mr. Rymer's experience, professional relationships with leasing agents, landlords, and property managers, and knowledge of Boston is unmatched. The time spent paying attention to the client is also obviously valuable to Live Realty. From the little things like offering coffee or tea at the office to explaining unfamiliar aspects of the renting process, Live Realty noticeably practices the concept of "putting the client first." I was searching for an apartment in Cambridge, MA with two other friends and had a hard time tracking down a place just by using Trulia, Zillow, and other apartment searching sites. My friend recommended me to Will Scharer at Live Realty Boston because of his attention to detail and thoroughness. It only took us a week to find and lock down a really nice place that met our needs! I sent Will an email and we started with a phone call. He went through all the details I mentioned in the email one-by-one and even asked a few more for clarification. He made me feel like every detail was important, no matter how small, for finding us a great place. After the call, he sent a list of apartments he thought were within our needs. It wasn't just a quick "let me google this for you" -- it looked like he refined, refined, and refined until it was a nice hand-picked list of 6-8 apartments. We listed off 4-5 that we wanted to see and he set up an appointment within the next several days. He did the work to check which were available and convenient for us to see in one day. We ended up seeing two places and picked one of them that pretty much met all of our needs. He made the paperwork easy and took time to answer every single question we threw at him. We've lived in the place about a week now, and he even took time to check in to see how we're doing! I am a Harvard college student looking for a place to rent for the upcoming school year given that schools are shut down from Coronavirus. For a first time renter, it was very important to us that our realtor walked us through the entire process. Friendly and Helpful Customer Service I would highly recommend Dorianny and Live Realty! I worked with Dorianny at Live Realty to find an apartment for the upcoming academic year. This was my first time finding an apartment in the Boston market and Dorianny was extremely helpful by explaining how the Boston market works and process to get an apartment. There was a unit I was eyeing when I reached out to her and she was willing to help me get the apartment. Unfortunately, another applicant before us was chosen. Even though we hit a road bump, Dorianny was very helpful to find another place by sharing other potential apartments that fit my criteria. During the showing, she made sure she understood what her client is looking for by asking the pros and cons of each unit and encouraging to take photos and videos to keep them in mind. After the showing Anthony, the Live Realty Broker helped with the paperwork and was open to answering any questions. Braxton!!!! Live Realty Boston is a real estate brokerage I will never use, and I will be expressing my dissatisfaction to all of my co-workers and friends. I am moving from Cambridge to Brighton to be closer to work at the Hancock Building and to be closer to my girlfriend. I called while I was at work one morning and was appalled by the person answering the phone, Braxton was uncooperative, very obnoxious and just plain rude. He was making fun of the accent that I have and he really was unable to even find me an apartment. Which really should not be very hard, my budget was fairly good at $3200 for a one bed and he couldn't find me anything!!!! When I got off the phone I was in shell sock and expressed my complete dissatisfaction to all of my co-workers, now I want to let the management of this establishment know my concerns. I highly suggest either going to a different agent at this brokerage, or just go to a different brokerage in the area like I did. Highly suggest that no one deal wth this agent!!! read more

They try to sucker you into renting terrible units making unrealistic promises or just straight up lying to you. But not Anthony. He rolls up and asks you about your requirements and then your how you'd rank your requirements in terms of priorities. He then shows you things that you'd be marvelled by given your price-point and delivers all the information you could possibly ask for and more. Anthony found us the best apartment we could've hoped for. He dealt swiftly and excellently with the reduced apartment market in October and was versatile with our requests as our apartment requirements would change. I was looking for my first apt all by myself since my roommate was in NY at the time and her cosigners were in Turkey. Even before starting I knew it was going to be stressful because I really didn't know anything and communication and signing documents was obviously going to be difficult with the distance. However, Chase was so cool and SO helpful through the whole things. He was incredibly patient and went through everything I needed to know to get my first apt. He drove me around for 3 days and showed me a bunch of apt that would be within my budget and requirements and in the end I got an amazing one. He worked persistently and dedicated a lot of time to make sure we were able to seal the deal with the apt we wanted and found a way to work around every problem that came up. My roommate and I had a wonderful experience working with Charles Haritos. We both are from out of state and had a lot of questions and concerns about almost every aspect of the rental process. Charles was always pleasant, courteous, and prompt in answering any questions that arose. He kept the ball rolling with showing us new listings as they came on the market and always respected the rule of 24 hours notice to current tenants. We ended up paying just a little more than we had initially intended ($150 a month, not a gouge or significant by any means), but the unit was completely worth it. We ended up securing a unit with amenities we thought were completely out of our price range, and we could not be more thrilled! I cannot speak for the other realtors working for this company, but Charles never made us feel pressured, rushed, or like anything less than a top priority. read more

My two housemates and I are from California, and he was so responsive, knowledgeable and hard-working that I flew out to Boston to look at places with him. I had Jamie as a realtor and she was super great! I had gotten in contact with her when I​ was interested in an apartment on zillow. Super friendly and easy to talk to. She showed me really nice apartments in my price range! After a couple of letdowns on apartments i.e., they picked someone else as a tenant​ or the tenants decided to renew their lease; Jamie was still by my side and was able to find even greater apartments the next day. Whenever I had walked into the office I felt super comfortable and could talk to the other super friendly realtors there. Jamie was also totally accepting when I wanted to lower my price of rent and was still able to find an amazing 1 bedroom with heat hot water and gas included. If I ever plan on looking for another apartment in Boston I will be going to Jamie once again at Live Realty Boston! read more
