I have had quite a few services completed from live-well dentistry. Unlike some of the reviews of this business, mine are genuine. I've had teeth capped, a root canal, fillings and cosmetic procedures. I have lived in many states and overseas. This dentistry is the best. Latest technology and professional from reception to services to billing. Dentistry has evolved and costs have increased. They are competitive and always upfront with pricing. I'm very happy with every person at Live-well to include the hygienist who harps about me getting a water pic..... and she is absolutely right. So right, I now have one. lol. read more

I was looking for a new dentist, and made sure to call and verify that the accepted my insurance. I had a routine dentist appointment and only saw the hygienist, which I thought was odd. Nearly a year after my appointment, I received a statement from them because "they didn't receive payment from my insurer." I immediately knew something was wrong since I only received a routine dental cleaning with X-rays. I worked with my insurance and figured out that they did not submit a claim to the correct insurance since there were no claims on my file. I had to re-send the office my correct insurance information so they could re-file, but at this point, it was way over the 1 year filing limit, so my insurance denied the claim. Now I'm stuck with a $200 bill since they couldn't do their job properly and timely. read more

secretary made up billing and coding. Asked dentist right in front of me what to charge. they had a dental assistant placing crowns and in state of PA that is illegal. Charged $75 for tooth cleaning. I'm going through my insurance to file a claim and they are requesting the billing and coding documents. you can also file a claim in state of PA to investigate office to make sure billing/reason for procedures and who performed. My guess is when it comes down providing proof something is going happen where they "can't find my records or billing information". read more

I have no connection to this practice--just a very grateful patient--and I have to thank them publicly. I received a flyer from Live Well Dentistry in Wexford at just the right moment. I moved to Cranberry in 2021 and was in the middle of numerous painful appointments with an older dentist in private practice. I felt trapped and dreaded every appointment. I was able to get a consultation with Dr. Leslie quickly. She and her staff went out of their way to make my visits comfortable. She explained everything she was doing and how long it was going to take. In just three visits, my existing work was corrected and completed. I am so grateful to this practice for their professionalism and concern. Also, I do not have dental insurance and was pleasantly surprised that the fees for my dental work were the lowest I had been charged in years. I highly recommend Dr. Leslie and her staff! read more

Zero stars! The service was not great. I always felt like they were trying to upsell me something. They require you to prepay for service, which is strange, especially when you have good insurance and are based in Wexford. They performed a handful of procedures on my teeth, nothing crazy, but each time I needed to return bc something was wrong. Scheduling was tough, I felt like the hours and availability were not great. Two of the technicians, were very nice, but it seamed like they didn't want to be there either. Some of these rave reviews sound fake, tbh. Lots of complimenting the decor which is weird. I haven't had a great experience w/Livewell. They took over my old dentist's practice in Oakland, and then promptly shut that location down. I don't have a lot of options with my insurance, so I had to make the trek out to Wexford. The whole place just seems like a money-grab; like a huge corporation, not a dental provider. First thing they do when you walk in is get your co-pay, and they are aggressive about scheduling your next appointment. I've only had insurance-covered cleanings, but I got a bill from them for $200. I called to inquire; the woman was confused and said she'd check into it and call me back; she never did. Beware if you get a bill that it's for work you really had done! I canceled my last appointment and switched dentists, and now I'm stuck in their aggressive email and text marketing campaign, regardless of how many times I've asked to unsubscribe. The practice did not inform me of the payment by my insurance company. they have not applied this insurance payment that the practice received to my invoice. This procedure was done in March and I'm still waiting for reimbursement as my insurance paid Live Well Dentistry. read more

LiveWell Dentistry is a great practice to entrust your family's dental health. We have been going there for years. Personally, I have a lot of dental issues and have some anxiety-related fear because of years of trauma. I feel safe and secure in the care of Dr. Pasco and her staff. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I had been here a few times, and I referred my friend. They quoted him $5k in dental work, that after getting two other opinions, he didn't need at all. The crazy part is that they charged him for work that was still scheduled for a month out yet, so he had to go through the process of getting the funds returned! Is that even legal?! We have both since found fantastic, honest dentists, and it's not Live Well Dentistry! read more

Worst dental experience of my life. I came into the office to learn more about the dental implant process, and Dr. Leslie Pasco began to pressure me to begin the implant process that instant and pay the entire cost upfront, on that day. I was not finished asking questions before I was being rushed to pay for something I did not completely understand yet. I left as soon as I could, in tears, and never received a phone call/ follow-up. If you need dental implants go to Greater Pittsburgh Implants and Periodontics. Dr. Bakuri treats his patients like people. Not price tags. I came to this practice because Dr. Machiko did my Merlin Bridges as a child and they were beautiful. I cannot recommend him enough, but I am so disappointed that he is now working in an office with this culture. read more

I am very dental phobic due to some past experiences. Therefore, I avoided going to a dentist for years. Well, I needed to see a dentist immediately and was recommended to LiveWell Dentistry. I was amazed by the beautiful peaceful and calming office, the genuinely kind staff and the care. Dr. Leslie was amazing! She was very understanding, compassionate and skilled. She explained everything before she even touch me. The services were performed so professionally that I was done before I knew it! This was, by far, the best dental experience I ever had. I do not recommend them at all! The worst dental experience to date. I had to go to another dentist to fix "their" work. I also just talked to my neighbor who unknowingly went there also with similar experience! It seems like the dentist that are not accepting new clients are busy for a reason! Let me start by saying Dr. Machiko and his staff are the finest!! They are thorough, kind, helpful and Dr. Machiko's work is superb. However, Dr. Machiko is now a part of Live Well Dentistry and today I was hit with a curve ball. Before each visit I check in at the desk and before I leave after each visit I stop at the desk to verify any charges. My last few appts have been at Live Well Dentistry since Dr. Machiko moved his practice. Not once has the receptionist mentioned any charges that have not previously been paid. But today, when I checked in, I was abruptly told that I owed $2500. I was not prepared to pay that. Who walks around with $2500 in their pocket?!?!? The receptionist smiled and said "well you'd be surprised". Well YES! I was surprised! I was surprised that no one had previously mentioned this additional fee! After reviewing the paperwork on file conflicting costs were found on not one, but 2 different procedures and as it turns out the total in question is now $2250. Not $2500. I feel there were several opportunities to prepare me for this charge and before quoting a charge the receptionist should be aware of the correct amount. I am happy this procedure is done and sorry to leave Dr. Machiko as I will not use Live Well Dentistry in the future nor will I recommend them to anyone. If you do not want to be hit with extra charges and/or incorrect charges do not go to Live Well Dentistry. Add on: Today I got a message to confirm an appt on the wrong day for a month from now. This place doesn't seem to know if they are coming or going! I feel bad for Dr. Machiko because his office was never run this way! read more

Luxury dentistry! The people working here are beyond friendly. It is such a positive bright place. They are more then happy to work with you and your schedule. I went in for an exam and cleaning yesterday and they were very good about explaining everything. The girl who cleaned my teeth was extremely gentle and so nice. Their space is so clean and the chairs have massagers and tvs!! I would absolutely recommend going here. read more
