I have been going to Evolution Sport Therapy for a while now. Treated by a few of their…read moretherapists. Some therapists are definitely more punctual/professional/knowledgeable than others. More consistency will be nice. Overall, I only have minor issues with their therapists, but their business practice left a bitter taste in my mouth. Did you know that when they put heat pad on you, that is actually part of your treatment time? For a 30 minutes session, you paid $10 to have someone put heat pad on you for 5 minutes. They don't tell you about it either. They claim on Mar 1, 2018, they will stop employing this practice, and have 1 on 1 for the full amount of time, but on Mar 1, 2018, they will also hike their price by 20%! I have never been to clinic that charge you full price for warming you up. You either go 5 minutes early and have heat pad apply to you, or they work on your other area while you are lying on the heat pad. Not Evolution Sport Therapy! You are being charged full price for having heat pad apply to you, and you just lie there. Or, if you look at it the other way, your 30 minutes session is actually 25 minutes session. I feel cheated. The new rate is $130-$150 per hour, and my insurance company will not cover it. They charged more than chiropractors, which require doctoral-level study. I think they are over-priced. I also think it's unfair for Jonathan to charge more than other therapist in the same clinic. Does that mean he's better? A lot of the therapists are not getting their schedule filled, while the owner, Jonathan's schedule is filled for months ahead. Something is not right. Either Jonathan is not supporting his therapists, or he's much better than other therapists. I see poor business practice here. I wish athletic therapy become more common, so business like this cannot overcharge their patients, and athletic therapists have access to more patients through their clinics. Before going to this clinic, you may want to ask yourself: How much your insurance company will cover? Do you have athletic injuries? Do you have spare money for 15 to 20 sessions? Are the location convenient to you? Is there similar options out there for better price? For me, I will look else where.

I walked in and was nervous on my last minute decision because the clinic wasn't 100% aesthetically pleasing but I was greeted positively, swept into my appointment on time, had a quick 5 minute conversation with Jacob regarding exactly what I wanted to get from the appointment, followed by him giving me a mini game-plan describing how he was going to make that happen. He had such great relaxing tunes, I like having occasional spurts of commentary but not the entire time and he read my social cues perfectly, he was an incredible RMT and knew exactly what he was doing, it was very sports-massage esque which is what I needed; I was just overall impressed. I walked away less bodily sore and my neck felt great, I didn't have headaches for days (which is fantastic for me). He had small feasible recommendations of what I should do to improve my neck and back. It was also reasonably priced for the hour I booked for. The entrance is actually pretty difficult to find. It looked like the front door to some apartment building. but yes, you have the correct place. The reception is nice and trendy-looking. While waiting in that area, they have 3 types of flavoured water (orange, lemon, and cucumber). All 3 are quite tasty. The rooms are a bit on the small side, but they really do a good job of making them look a bit larger, especially with the nice wooden panels on the ceiling. Makes the place look a lot more peaceful and serene. My physiotherapist was Chelsea, and she knows her stuff. When I explained to her about certain knots in my muscles, she did a few really hard "presses" and they magically went away for a few hours. When she wanted me to do certain exercises and I was having trouble, she had a nice long list of examples to get me to do them properly, saying things such as "imagine someone's pulling on the top of your head with a string".. Lastly, the receptionist Ashley is really great. She was able to book multiple appointments for me, and followed up several times, delivering on all of her promises. Special mention. As I haven't tried any other physio places, I honestly don't have much to compare against. However, I will be using this place as a benchmark from this day forward.

Here is an update;…read more After leaving a review I was contacted by Ashley the clinic manager, she wanted to know my name and number to follow up with the physician...after responding to her email, I never heard back from her or any member of gas town Physio and Pilates again...talk about customer service! In addition, I was diagnosed with piriformis syndrome, which is a muscular issue, basically you get muscle spasm in your buttocks and it irritates the sciatic nerve, hence the never ending sessions of dry needling that the physician at gas town Physio put me through....since then I found out I had zero issue with my muscle! In fact I had two bulging discs on my L3/4 and L5/S1 and a herniation on my L4/5. Talk about getting misdiagnosed!! :(

When my husband…read morecame home from 6 months of hospital and rehab it was not even possible to move his right useless arm enough to shower him properly and the strength in his one remaining leg (the right one was amputated as an indirect result of the stroke) was not great. In a few short weeks of Justin working with my husband the range of assisted movements of the right arm was significantly improved and my husband was with Justin's encouragement independently doing daily exercises. His strength has continued to build and we are very grateful for Justin's continued support and encouragement as my husband's pain level has been decreased to the point where we have no more daily complaints about shoulder, arm and leg pains. In addition we appreciate Justin's sense of humor and easy going manner as my husband suffers from Aphasia and is almost totally non-verbal which makes communication a challenge.
