While the school has a…read moresolid reputation, I left disappointed.  Not only in the education my daughter received, but also the overall attitude of the staff and unprofessional communication.   Communication from the staff was often unclear and inconsistent. I found myself acting on their recommendations, only to have them recant those suggestions when it was convenient for them.  It felt like I was being gaslit.  At times, my daughter's provider recommendations were not followed.  They would state my daughter was the only child not napping as an example, but yet there was a room full of children not napping.  They stated my daughter didn't have friends not knowing that we played with kids from class on regular basis and still do to this day.    A particularly memorable incident that encapsulates my experience occurred on Halloween. My daughter was thrilled to wear her light-up princess dress, exuding pride and excitement as she arrived at school. However, the teacher checking in students remarked, "wow, that is distracting," in an annoyed voice, which was incredibly deflating for my daughter.  I think my daughter picked up on that she was not liked by the staff and that impacted her.  The overall lack of smiles or morale didn't seem good in my experience.   Changing a child's daycare/school setting can cause a lot of disruption.  That is the only reason why we stayed as long as we did and tried to make it work.   On a positive note, Soccer Shots, Wee-Move, and Piano teachers/coach were great.

The teachers and staff are all very caring, and got to know our kids really well from the start. Our kids (2.5 year-old in Toddler and almost 5 year-old in Casa) had an easy time adjusting. We have a rule follower and an independent spirit, and the approach at EP Montessori has really helped both of them as they develop and learn. Both of our kids participate in activities that come to school (piano, dance, yoga, soccer) and enjoyed them, too!

The Lead teacher Marriyah & Asst. Director, Bronwyn have been the absolute best with our daughter. The center also utilizes the DailyConnect app so I can see updates throughout the day, get messages from teachers, and know how much she ate for lunch and snack which is helpful for dinner preparation. The Director Roberta is wonderful to work with as well! She is great with communication and wonderful with the kids as well. Due to their rent becoming to high, they are closing the location. But here's the kicker - they only gave us 3 weeks to find a new daycare! It really put the parents in a bind to find childcare quickly. And if you've had to find childcare before, you know it can be very challenging to find without being on a wait list.

As a first-time mom who struggled with postpartum anxiety, I was so nervous about sending my baby to daycare. But right away, I could tell Jardin was a wonderful place for him to be. Ms. Maria, Laila, Melizza, and Minny in Infant Room B were so incredibly loving and caring. I could tell from the start that my son was getting so much love and attention throughout the day, which brought me so much comfort. He's now in the toddler room with Marisol and Dianna/Julia, who are equally amazing teachers. Even now, when he sees his former infant teachers, they all light up -- it truly feels like one big family filled with love and connection. We've also been so impressed by how much he's learned, especially his Spanish! He was saying "hola" and "agua" before he turned one, and now at just two years old, he can count to ten in Spanish and knows so many words -- numbers, letters, colors, shapes, animals, and body parts. It's incredible to see how much he's grown in their care. I also love the app they use to share updates throughout the day. The teachers are so good about posting photos and noting naps, meals, and activities -- it really helps ease any anxiety and allows us to see how happy and engaged our child is. The directors are also amazing and always available to help with translation when needed. I don't speak Spanish and my husband only a little (and he's rusty!), so I was initially worried about communication. But it has never been an issue -- there's always someone ready to help, and everyone is so kind and patient. The enrollment team has also been fantastic -- prompt, organized, and easy to communicate with. We love Jardin Longfellow so incredibly much. It's such a nurturing, supportive, and loving environment, and we feel so grateful to have them as part of our family's village.

We have had our two children at Child Garden Montessori for 7+ years and I can't say enough good…read morethings about it. The teachers are committed, loving, and our kids have received the best care. The new leadership is dedicated to making sure all kids receive the best experience and they have worked with us through special needs and challenging periods, making special accommodations when necessary. We have toured other facilities from time to time as I have changed jobs and the location is no longer convenient for my commute, but we have always found that no other child care facility we've seen holds a candle to what our kids receive at Child Garden. We love the facility itself - the full gym is amazing, the meals are great, but it's the love, care, and practical Montessori-based instruction they provide that makes such a difference. The teachers are so kind, the environment is bright and clean and inviting. My younger son has always been very strong willed, and refuses to be coerced into anything, but at school, he has begun to challenge himself more and more. Skills that we can't get him to try at all, he suddenly comes home willing and proud to show us. The community is warm, and I adore everyone there. It's affordable, small, and very personal. I can't recommend Augsburg Park Montessori enough.
