Later, on my own, I ordered a marble mosaics art kit from Italy, using the skills that I learned from the two classes. Later on, I took two embroidery classes from a different teacher. The two classes had beginner students, and students had some skills. The teacher was very, very understanding with my limited skills. I particularly love to do embroidery. I found a new hobby! If I had time, I would take a class from each of these instructors again.

Such a delightful place to shop!…read more Tucked into the sweet artsy Bellefonte neighborhood is this small but very active artist cooperative store. The shop represents a large variety of local artists, allowing them space within the shop, putting together street fairs and classes when these things are possible, and with online newsletters and social media presence. I was introduced to Bellefonte Arts by a friend who exhibits her handmade bears in the shop. Thanks to her I've now made multiple trips to the store, always finding something wonderful and unexpected, just what I hope to find when exploring a shop filled with the works of different artists. They have a night market coming up in June with vendors and food trucks and they are part of the Art Loop which is every first Friday of the month. They tell me since I own my tank to go try somewhere else. Panicked, I start calling around. It's the coldest in a long time around here, and no one is picking up. I leave messages as I get ready for the wedding. Eric from Gastec calls back and after a few forms they tell me they'll be out as soon as possible. Two days later, worrying I may of messed up waiting so long they came out and filled the tank! $10 hazardous charge and lower price from my other supplier. I will definitely be using them again!!! I needed an outlet installed for a new tankless water heater that I was planning to have installed. As I was getting estimates for the new tankless water heater, my old water heater started leaking a lot of water into my laundry/utility room, so I needed to act quickly. When he came out to estimate the outlet installation he asked if I had found a plumber yet for the water heater installation. I told him I had an estimate from a local company but I thought it was kind of high. The two other plumbers who I had estimates from we are no longer able to take the job because of staffing issues due to COVID-19. Dave said he knew a good plumber and called him on the spot. He FaceTimed so that the plumber could see the job. The plumber he recommended was able to give me an estimate within a couple of hours. And came in $700 lower than the previous plumbers estimate. Plus he could do the job the very next day. Hurray! The plumber that Dave recommended came out and did a great job on the tankless water heater installation! They worked in a tight space in an old house and even were able to run my vents up through an attic and crawlspace and out behind a chimney so that they cannot be seen from the front of the house. Then Independent Electric Services came out and did a perfect job on the outlet installation for which I had originally contacted them. If I had not called Independent Electric Services I would've spent more money on my water heater and I would probably still be trying to get the job done. Dave made it happen fast, competently, and at a great price! I cannot recommend this company enough.

Terri came in, made wall and cabinet color suggestions, window covering suggestions and most shocking of all told me to have the refrigerator moved. See the fridge sat in front of the sliding glass door. I had an underused pantry. Moving the fridge into the pantry made it looked built in and let the light flow. It was awesome. In 2010, my partner and I moved back to the area. We called Terri. She came up with a comprehensive design for our house's living room, kitchen, dining room, master bedroom along with a paint scheme for the entire house. She put us in touch with contractors she recommended. We've changed our minds a few times and each time she's been easy to work with.
