Opened in 2016, this is a desert rose plant nursery and event space. it is located on the section of Flamingo Road that contains a large number of plant nurseries. It is located on the same side of the road as Owl Lookout Park, The nursery with the desert roses, tropical hibiscus, and bonsais is in front of the property. They specialize in growing adenium also known as desert rose. They had pollinate the plants to create new colors of flowers. They are also breeding to increase the amount of flowers per plant. The event space located in the rear is surrounded by plants, oak trees, waterfalls, koi ponds, bonsai wall, and a rock Zen garden is in the back. You can rent the space to host your wedding or corporate functions. They offer free 45 tours of the property during the week which you can book on their website. The space is absolutely beautiful, the building is almost like a treehouse out of the swiss family Robinson, and every corner is stunning. My only complaint is when I had asked one of the workers where the extra cups and napkins were, the two ladies just shrugged and continued talking to one another. I had the experience planning a wedding at the Living Sculpture Sanctuary and I am beyond thrilled with how it all turned out. The entire staff, from the sales team to the staff on wedding day, all made my clients and I feel like we were family. They all had smiles on their faces and were willing to help when we needed it. I should mention that I am a wedding planner, so we had not worked with most of the vendors on their recommended list but I was thrilled with the level of service they all provided, and the quality of product given. Great place for buying desert rose as the selection is wide . From the basic 25.00 to as much as you can afford . The desert roses come in various colours white , red , pink , peach , yellow , cream , purple, and other combo colours. This place is great for a wedding venue as it looks as a tropical paradise with all these beautiful orchids , bromeliads, desert roses,bamboos and water fall's. We booked this venue for our wedding a year and a half in advance. This venue is absolutely STUNNING! The plants are gorgeous, and the space is so tranquil and well maintained. We also loved that our booking came with a massage for the bride. But, unfortunately, I DO NOT recommend working with this venue. From start to finish, our experience was an absolute nightmare. The employees are constantly changing and so are their rules. One day they need money for this, next day they need money for something else that was never mentioned prior. Weddings are already so expensive as it is, and to continue to ask for money beyond what's in the agreed contract is just distasteful. During our tour, they mention that we could choose to work with any vendors we wanted and that they have their preferred list of vendors that we could also choose from. But they failed to mention that we were expected to pay $500/vendor that isn't from their preferred list. No other venue in South Florida has such a requirement! Had I known this upfront, I absolutely would've chosen a different venue. To make matters worse, I had several vendors refuse to do our wedding because 1) they thought the fee was absurd and/or 2) they had horrible experiences working with the owner and refused to return. I thought those responses were extreme at first, but then after working with her myself I fully understood why. I witnessed her chastise my vendor in front of me and my family for no reason at all. It was so rude and unprofessional. Luckily my vendor WAS a professional, but it left an awful taste in everyone's mouths. Then on the actual wedding day, the venue's ovens weren't working, the lock to the bridal suite was broken, and the colors to the fountain were completely wrong (we asked for amber and they put green). I can excuse the wrong color lights, but my chef not having a working kitchen was an absolute nightmare for them to work around. Furthermore, not having a working lock to my suite left all of our valuables exposed. You would think the venue would offer an apology or some type of compensation, and yet I haven't heard a word. Just do yourself a favor, skip the headache and consider a different wedding venue. read more

Living sculpture sanctuary was the best choice for us. Of course it's an outside wedding and there are a few things to think about such as rain, hurricanes, and SWEAT on the biggest day of your life. Although we had an extremely warm day it was worth all the sweat & tears of joy that made our skin glow even better! Had my Wedding here back in 2020!!! And they by far exceeded my every expectation and dream for our wedding day! My family was so stunned by the beauty and tranquility of the Sanctuary they said they felt like they weren't even in FL! The staff was so sweet and attentive, as long as you follow their guidelines and respect the property no one will bother at all they made the experience amazing and so smooth. The staff is warm and friendly and they verify every detail of your event to make sure your day is just the way you want it. What an amazing venue! I found this venue using The Knot.com and the photos looked amazing so I had to check it out. The pictures didn't do it justice! This place is a luscious outdoor venue with lots of space to be able to hold your Ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner all at one location. It has a beautiful lake, alter to get married under, huge tiki hut with hardwood style tile, granite countertops in the kitchen and bar area, nice bathrooms, koi pond, bonsi garden, and a private area upstairs to get ready and a new cute area for the bride and groom (shhhh I won't tell you all the details). We met with the owner and serval of the wonderful ladies that would be working the evening of our wedding, such dolls. Oh and did I tell you they accommodated is having our sweet golden retriever as part of our wedding?!? Made my whole day. From the moment we met the staff here they were attentive returning all emails and phone calls with any questions we had. They had a great list of vendors to help us with drinks, music and more! The day of our wedding it happened to pour the whole time and the staff were super helpful trying to get rid of standing water. We rented some tents and heaters and it pretty much solved our issues. Can't control the weather. Our wedding we so amazing and everyone is still talking about it. I would like to say thank you to Living Sculpture for creating such a wonderful sacred place for us to have our special day.
