I'm really glad we chose to shop at Living Spaces--especially because we purchased the protection plan. It turned out to be 100% worth it. Our girls accidentally got nail polish on one of the chairs, and the warranty app was incredibly easy to use. The whole claims process felt almost too good to be true--it was smooth, fast, and we received consistent updates throughout. That said, the in-store experience has been a bit inconsistent. At times, it feels like some employees avoid eye contact and aren't very eager to help, which can be frustrating when you need assistance. However, I really want to recognize Jacquees for his outstanding customer service. He was confident, reassuring, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. He went out of his way to assist us and made a big difference in our experience. Unfortunately, when he asked a manager a question, her response came across as sarcastic and dismissive in front of us, which was disappointing--especially since he was clearly doing his best to help. Pickup was another mixed experience. I understand the process, but I did wish there was a bit more flexibility. I only had one accent chair to load, but I had to wait about 10-15 minutes while two employees assisted another customer with a large sectional. It would have been nice if someone could have quickly grabbed my item instead of making me wait. Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of the furniture and especially the protection plan. We purchased two couches from Living Spaces when we bought our new home and, unfortunately, our experience after the sale was very disappointing. The sales associate who helped us was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. He repeatedly explained the 5-year protection plan and specifically told us that the ONLY thing not covered was dog chewing. We were excited about that because we have dogs and chose the higher-performance fabric. During checkout, I noticed only one protection plan listed on our purchase and specifically asked if both couches were covered. He assured me they were and that the plan applied to the entire purchase. Within about a week, the fabric on one of the couches developed several snags ranging from about 1/2 inch to 5 inches long. The damage came from normal use--jeans rubbing on the fabric and our dogs jumping off the couch, causing nail snags. When I tried calling the protection plan phone number, I repeatedly selected the correct options only to be told that no one was available, despite calling during the hours the automated system stated representatives were working. My husband and I eventually went into the store for help. That's when we were told that only one couch was actually covered and that dog scratches were not covered under the protection plan anyway. We explained that the sales associate had very clearly told us otherwise and that we had specifically asked questions about both the coverage and the number of couches protected. The associate helping us at that time told us the original salesperson was no longer with the company due to similar situations. We asked if the protection plan could be added to the second couch since the mistake was caused by misinformation from Living Spaces. We were told management would contact us. After more than a week, multiple follow-up emails, and repeated check-ins, we were ultimately told that coverage could not be added. What is most frustrating is that Living Spaces acknowledged the salesperson was no longer with the company due to similar issues, yet the burden of that mistake was placed entirely on us as the customer. In my opinion, it is the responsibility of a business to properly train its employees and ensure they are providing accurate information. If an employee repeatedly makes mistakes significant enough to warrant termination, customers should not be left paying the price for misinformation they relied on when making a purchase. Between the fabric snagging so quickly, the difficulty reaching anyone about the protection plan, the misinformation during the sales process, and the lack of resolution afterward, we were left extremely disappointed. We love the look of the furniture, but the quality, customer service, and handling of this situation did not meet expectations. Unfortunately, I would not recommend Living Spaces based on our experience. read more

On Tuesday, my husband went in to look at a new couch. Right away we were greeted by the staff and they explained that they do not get paid commission and we can feel comfortable to walk around and ask anybody questions that we may have. My husband and I liked that because we did not feel pressured at all to buy anything. We went around and found two couches that we were torn between. The manager came and spoke to us and gave us her opinion as well as three other different staff members. All of them also shared that anything is customizable and that we can change the fabric colors amount of pieces that we want for anything we see. That all sounds amazing, but we luckily did not need that since we ended up finding exactly what we wanted. All of the staff was super helpful and was able to our. When it came to paying, they were very explicit and what to expect when we were gonna get our furniture delivered which by the way was two days later! We were in and out of there, probably about an hour. We had our couches delivered today and the guys who came to do the delivery were on time respectful and just wonderful people overall! They were knowledgeable and took care of everything! We most definitely will be coming back to buy any future furniture at Living Spaces! read more

We saw the commercials on tv; was excited to find one in Fresno. Huge warehouse full of home decor and furnishing. Have something for every room in your house. Comfy and nice furniture. They have wheelchairs available and also kids carts. They have a play center for your kids. They have an adult area ; where you can order snacks and drinks. Very reasonable prices -$2 for alcoholic drinks and $2-$3 for snacks. Just remember the bar closes at 8pm and store closes at 9pm. Sometimes they run out of food items. You're allowed to take your drinks around the store , while you're looking around. Who doesn't love shopping and drinking; hahaha great idea! Probably the best furniture store I've been to here in Fresno. Living Space is home to many furniture pieces, from sectional sofas, outdoor furnitures, credenza, shelves, dining table, office tables, decor pieces, children's furniture(beds), rugs, to mattresses. This is pretty much a one stop shop if you're looking furnish your home with these essential items. I think they do such a beautiful job designing a space for their furniture. It really gives you a nice idea how the furniture can look in your home. Every piece of furniture we saw was so nice. They have a lot of staff working the floor to assist you on your purchasing needs and questions you may have. Super friendly people there and very welcoming. I didn't feel like they were these typical sales people that follows you around and making you feel a certain way. There is a kids jungle gym area where your child can be dropped off there for a max of 2 hrs while you shop around in the store. It is completely free and the child would have to be 4 years old +. There is a staff in there to watch the kids. Kids can color, play in the jungle gym, and there are also some games on a screen they can play with as well. The child would need to have socks to go in. They also have cute car carts you can put your kids in while you shop around. My kids loved them! There are tea, water and coffee offered for free next to the jungle gym area by the mirror wall. There is an indoor bar that's serves wine, beer, and food there. It's pretty neat and there were a lot of people eating there. Restrooms are located near the back by the bar. I've been to a Living Space a few years ago in SJ just before covid and let's just say this location has out done itself!!! Indoor play ground and a bar. This place is enormous. Plenty of parking out front. My husband has been bugging we check it out for days now. When we arrived someone greeted us. We're still looking for some outdoor furniture to complete our outdoor space so we went straight to that area. Saw one but sadly not in a color we liked. We ended up just browsing around the rest of the store. So many options to choose from. From bedroom, living room, dinning, office, kids room and so much more. The showroom is beautiful. Staff is friendly when you ask them questions I'm so glad they aren't overbearing and they don't follow you compared to other furniture stores. It makes it that much more enjoyable to just freely roaming around without feeling pressured. Saw so many people at the bar. When we were leaving we saw younger people coming in looks like they were just coming to hangout at the new bar lol The indoor playground is for ages 4+ no adults allowed inside they have rules that's posted before entry and a staff member assisting. My 3 yo was so excited to go in only to be disappointed when we told her she had to be 4yo to enter. But the push cars (available in single and double seats) made up for it. We pushed both our kids in them and she had so much fun. Overall didn't think we needed another furniture store next to all the others but it's definitely nice to have options. Finally a high quality furniture store with a nice modern selection. Not like Fresno needs another furniture store, but this one has great quality items such as dining tables, chairs, sofa, sleepers, mattresses, credenzas, coffee, tables, mirrors, rugs, art, and whatever your house may need. I didn't see any light fixtures, but I did see an array of lamps that were tastefully designed. In the back there is a café, which was a nice added touch. LIVING SPACES GRAND OPENING! Without thought or regard to this event, I went about my business of getting gas at Costco. It was around 8:30 PM. As I was leaving the station, the brightly lit Living Spaces furniture store (with the cool signage font!) popped into view. The property/building was impressive. Despite not needing another stick of furniture, swapping out an accessory decor element is never off the table. Besides, I reasoned, seeing the massive building was on the list, so why not pop over and get that box checked? Unbeknownst to me, this WAS their GRAND OPENING DAY. They had spared no expensive in launching this behemoth right and I was about to stumble into it! The entry had like 15 staff welcoming people, handing out something and directing them to the NUMEROUS fully catered tables of hors d'oeuvres, desserts, beverages, and adult beverage tables... how did they know that I could be hungry? Admittedly, that doesn't take much. There was LOTS of elbow room and tray after tray after pile of food kept appearing! "Thumbs Up Catering" staff were walking the showroom offering up whatever it was they were bringing out...and it was varied, remarkable offerings! The tables of savory hors d'oeuvres were on BOTH sides of the store. Some of the offerings were, various types of sausages, bruschetta, chicken sliders, chicken Cordon Bleu and ham and cheese puffs, seven types of cheeses, candied pecans, bacon wrapped artichoke bites, beef Wellington bites and MORE! As is my habit, I skipped any sweet/drink offerings and focused on the mains! I lift regularly and me 'pecs' were hangry! The entire store was bumping with some awesome dance music and there were a few carnival-like stations. One station that was dedicated to balloon animals, which was kind of fun to watch. Alrighty, onto the store itself and its contents. The furniture has definitely got a modern vibe. Some of it was beautiful and as you can imagine, it's extensive. I looked at the price of some of the furniture displays and thought it was very reasonable... I'd certainly spent more elsewhere... I'm sure there are various tiers of quality, so gauge carefully. There's a large section of outdoor furniture.... Living room, office, bedroom, etc. Interestingly enough there's also a very large kids play area behind glass... That's got to be a LOT of fun for them and being able to shut that door and see your kid screaming and enjoying themselves behind glass (that blocks the noise) a plus! There's a huge drink/Coffee area and I'm not sure if they also make food? Apparently, IF you're buying furniture that day, up to $50.00 of your money spent at that drink/food bar gets deducted from your furniture purchase. A cool policy that is fun, enhances the experience and is SMART! Some may recall that I have a 1953 large ranch style, mid-century modern home in old fig garden that I'm remodeling/enhancing. And I'm having FUN with it. I'd long ago named the property "Moon Base Alpha." Yes, you read that right! It's mostly voice controlled and I've Inc. the latest devices and Tech.... There's definitely some monochromatic's and I felt super fortunate to come across this cool dinosaur casting that will go somewhere... it's a fairly large piece, substantial, and it was only $35! It's really the accessories that I was more interested in and there's a couple more that I'll be going back for... The oversaturation of furniture stores in Fresno is funny and a bit sad. Most of the stores don't even have cars out in front of them.... Completely empty show rooms and one wonders how they can keep the lights on. And then came Living Spaces, who is clearly here for the long run... the investment in the property is impressive. This will clearly cut into the competition and it will be interesting to see how the service side translates into satisfaction. The experience at the store was fantastic... As is usual, I enjoyed mingling with complete strangers and having a ball... if one is interested, they actually do have an interior designer on staff... one who actually has a degree! Visiting the showroom unexpectedly last night was kind of like winning the jackpot. It was a blast hanging out and chatting with people and I scored a cool accessory. Biggest headache of my life. Staff is very nice so that's why I gave the two stars. But original order was wrong and was only delivered rails, rather than the entire bed with rails. The process of refund was insane and I still ended up paying for the original full service of a delivery that included guys dumping off a box of rails and leaving. Furniture is nice but beyond overpriced for its quality. Took four weeks, several visits to the store and still left dissatisfied. Ultimately was over charged but just ate the cost to save myself an aneurysm from the level of frustration I went through. Buy at your own risk. Double check everything. And ask for cost of all fees. This furniture store was so cool! I don't know what the square footage is in here, but it's HUGE! There's a play place (free), a (free) coffee/tea section in the back, and a spot to buy beer/wine as well. Employees walk around with sodas/lemonade (free) for guests to have on the go. There's a wide selection of furniture, the pillows/mattresses in the back area are comfy, and employees are friendly and eager to help. Parking is a little difficult; there's only one entrance and exit... and it's right by Costco... so be prepared for that. Overall I really enjoyed my visit here! A Truly Disappointing Experience at Living Spaces - Customer Service at Its Worst NEW STORE ALERT!! On Sunday, February 16th, my brother and his family visited Living Spaces to finalize their furniture purchases. They had previously been impressed by the showroom, the amenities like the snack bar and kids' area, and the overall shopping experience. This time, however, their expectations were completely shattered. Their planned purchase totaled approximately $8,000, and they applied for credit through Living Spaces, which was approved. Unfortunately, from start to finish, the customer service was beyond unacceptable. Unprofessional Sales Associate & Miscommunication The first sales associate handed them off to another associate as soon as he clocked out, while displaying incredibly unprofessional behavior--cussing, swearing, and even flipping off the other sales associates while interacting with my brother and his family. Later that associate handed them off to another sales rep to complete the transaction because she was also clocking out, leading to complete confusion and a rushed experience as closing time approached. Several associates were visibly impatient, even taking personal phone calls while helping my brother during checkout process looking at their watches and pushing to speed up the process. To make matters worse, there was conflicting information regarding a promotional discount. The gal originally stated they would receive $150 off their purchase, but at checkout, they were told they would only get $100 off--plus another $50 if they spent $50 at the concession stand. The floor manager was looking through receipts at the concession stand to see if we spend $50 to get $50 this was so inconvenient and time consuming. The lack of consistency and professionalism in handling this situation was shocking. Living Spaces chose to lose out on an $8,000 sale over a mere $50 dispute, rather than honoring their initial commitment. At one point, an employee named Aiden even stood up and told my brother, "I think it's time for you to leave." It was clear they were trying to kick us out simply for insisting that they honor the extra $50 discount we were originally promised. Instead of handling the situation professionally, they opted to dismiss us altogether. Lack of Accountability & Questionable Credit Process Aiden provided the name of the store manager, Rebecca, but said she was unavailable. Instead, he gave them the Living Spaces customer service 800 number. After calling the automated system they were assured someone would follow up. As of today, February 25th, no one has reached out. This level of neglect in customer concerns is completely unacceptable. Additionally, when they applied for store credit, the sales associate signed the legal credit documents on their behalf without their consent indicated it's okay don't worry about signing it--a clear violation of proper procedures. No customer should have their credit processed without personally signing the necessary documents. Final Thoughts This experience was beyond frustrating. The lack of professionalism, misleading promotions, and failure to follow up with a manager reflect poorly on Living Spaces. They need to seriously rethink their approach to customer service and train their staff to uphold ethical and professional standards. If I could give NEGATIVE 10 stars, I would. This is very sad for being a new location to Fresno. Customer service retention should be a priority, yet this store proved it is not. We will be taking our business elsewhere and advising others to do the same. read more

I've had one of the worst customer service experiences with Living Spaces, after spending nearly $6,000 on three separate purchases (10/21/25 and 11/11/25). I was told at the store that all my items would arrive before the holidays, which was the main reason I chose to buy from Living Spaces. That turned out to be completely false. 1. Damaged Couch Delivery My couch arrived torn. I reported it immediately and spent over an hour on the phone with reps who were rude, dismissive, and not helpful at all. I was transferred to a supervisor who promised to call me back with an expedited replacement date, that call never came. When I followed up myself, I was told I'd have to wait until late December or even January. 2. Damaged Bedframe & Failed Delivery My bedframe arrived broken and I was told I would need to wait two more weeks. On the next delivery attempt, the driver just left without saying anything I had no idea the delivery wasn't happening until I noticed they were gone. I was left with no bed to sleep on. 3. Third Purchase Delayed My third purchase was supposed to arrive the first week of December. Now I'm being told it won't arrive until the end of December. Again, nothing I was promised in-store has been honored. Overall * Multiple damaged items * Incorrect delivery dates * Rude customer service * No follow-up from supervisors * Weeks of delays and stress * Thousands of dollars spent with nothing delivered correctly I regret trusting the promises I was given in the store. The store itself was fine. However, there was a girl named Vivian who was working the bar area who was extremely rude. She did not smile once and once I reached my turn in line she said I needed to wait because she had other orders she needed to make. She was the only one behind the bar working so I can understand if she felt overwhelmed with the current workload, but as a person, myself who has worked customer service and now healthcare, there is a more respectful way to communicate with your customers. She came off as if she hated her job and didn't care about who she was serving. It almost turned us off to the store completely. Also, once my sister reached the bar register, Vivian started talking to a male who came up to the bar (it seemed as if she knew the man or was friends with him) and talked for an extended amount of time while my sister and multiple customers behind her were waiting to order. The rest of the employees on the floor seemed nice and willing to help, which saved our experience but if I were to give any feedback to the store, it would be to please get rid of Vivian as an employee. The only decent part of our purchase was the in store experience and the delivery drivers. Everyone in the store was friendly and helpful. We purchased a dining room table and 8 chairs. They were delivered almost a month ago and 5 of the chairs were wobbly. They said they would send a tech to fix them and we would not agree as we purchased "new" furniture. They then made a second delivery with 5 more chairs and some were even worse. We once again called customer service and they tried to get us to have the "fixed". We state we still do not want our new furniture fixed nor should we have to. They set up a 3rd time to deliver 5 more chairs that didn't wobble and told us they would give us 20% refund if they didn't come correct. They came today and were attempted to be fixed. Some had feet on them, some had washers and the 3 we kept have nothing. We once again called customer service, I asked for a manager and spoke with April, who by the way has no customer service skills whatsoever. She just kept repeating they need a video sent showing they wobble and it has to get approved and then it will take 5-7 days to refund. There is no actual remorse for their actions and bad furniture. Bottom line is furniture is not the best quality and customer service is non existent. We are just keeping the best of the all the chairs and they only gave us 20% off the chairs. My wife and I bought a couch and kitchen island. The couch we special ordered and the island was just a standard purchase. The sales person said our island would be delivered the Wednesday of the following week. The couch was supposed to be here about a month later. The island showed up two weeks from purchase no big deal, but they texted and emailed us that our couch was going to be coming too. It was a surprise but we cleared out our couches and made room. Then we get the email the morning before delivery that only the island is coming. This was the first correct bit of communication we had. I call down to the store and they tell me my couch is in Visalia, but I have to wait two weeks for them to deliver it!!! They have the in store experience done well. The island delivery was done well on the part of the delivery guys. The part that needs a lot of work is the in between part. Very confusing communication and they have no ability to make it right. It's just a corporate wall. So I will now enjoy my living room with my camping chairs while my couch sits in a warehouse in Visalia for the next two weeks. Very disappointed and I can't say I will be going back. read more

As a first time customer at living spaces I would say the experience was phenomenal. I was greeted right away by Cody who's knowledge on all the furniture was amazing. Cody was going over the unique features at living spaces such as the bar, play area for your kids, and different departments for your needs. In the mattress department I met Jake who's knowledge and details on all the mattresses were incredible. Jake went over everything with me from purchasing to delivering and even warranty. Walked in today with my husband, excited to shop for son's furniture for our toddler's new bedroom space. Instead, we were made to feel invisible. We were greeted with a side-eye and a half-hearted "hi," and that was the last interaction we had. We spent about 45 minutes walking the store and were never offered help -- not once. Associates looked our way multiple times, and I even made direct eye contact to see if anyone would bother engaging in basic customer service. Nothing. If you don't want to help customers, don't work on the floor. We left disappointed and won't be returning. read more

I've been to almost all of the furniture stores in the Fresno/Clovis area, and it seems to me that Living Spaces has the better value for your money. Their prices are more affordable, and there are some pieces that seem to be in the mid- to mid-high range in quality, like the Flex Steel sectional and Martin's Tolland office collection. They also accept returns and exchanges within 7 days, which is really nice, considering that some furniture stores do not. Moreover, they boast a large showroom, allowing you to see furniture in-person. Their employees are really wonderful. I do want to particularly mention Skye, a sales floor associate, for going above and beyond in providing me with excellent customer service. He was patient, kind, and extremely helpful. He spent the time with me to see what color and sizing of furniture would look best in the rooms and even helped me in getting down to the details of the surge protectors needed, length of the cords, cord positioning, etc. He is really knowledgeable and you can tell that he loves to spend the time to assist you in problem-solving even the minute details. Ordered a bed with front door drop off and bed was already damaged. The box showed significant damaged and should've been inspected and not just dropped off. Their solution for me was a replacement, and me booking another day with a 8am to 6pm drop off time frame. So meaning because of them delivering a damaged product, now I would have to waste another full day waiting for them to drop off a replacement bed, and me having to bring back out the damaged item to them, and the replacement not guaranteed to be damaged free. I wound up having to load the three heavy boxes in my truck and driving it to the store for drop off. Problem solved? No, I'm at the store and the workers are too busy chit chatting amongst each other to give me a return receipt. Also, they will tell u to keep ur receipt if you purchase any food because they will deduct it from your purchase, this does not happen either. I provided my receipt to them at check out and nothing was deducted. read more

The staff are so welcoming and helpful, yet not pushy. They do not work on commission, so there's no feeling of being bombarded, while you shop, or look around for ideas. ElJay at the dining restaurant/bar is so friendly. The restaurant food is great, and very inexpensive. Wine & beer are only $2 a glass, and the food is $3, great portion sizes. They have personal pepperoni or cheese pizzas, real white chicken breaded tenders, chips&salsa/guacamole, and soft pretzels and cheese all for only $3 each. But don't bring cash. Tips are not allowed, and all food and beverages are paid for with credit or debit cards only. Non-alcoholic beverages, including sodas, tea, water, lemonade, and the. Starbucks beverage bar are always free. If you have children in the 4 to 12 age range, they can enjoy the kid play area, and kids movie theater for free, while you shop, drink, eat, or just relax on the premises, for up to 2 hours. My expereince started out great the people helping you in the store were amazing. I bought 4 dining room chairs and ended up taking one from the store I was shopping in as they only had 3 in stock. It was almost 2 months before they could deliver the items, and on the day of the delivery I was notified that they would only be giving me two chairs and that they were expecting the other one to come mid-may. It is already mid-May. I call them come to find out it's disocntinued and they oversold the chairs as there was, as they put it, "ghost inventory." Being now that it is over a month I can no longer get a refund since they waited to tell me until the day of the delivery, and now I am stuck with only 3 dining room chairs and will have to purchase a different set and spend time and money to get rid of the ones I have. Seems insane to me considering it's their mistake. Based on the reviews I have now read on here this seems to be a recurring issue and the company cannot keep track of their inventory. The delivery itself was great as I purchased another item with it. The men delivering did a great job and were super nice but I will never purchase from the company again. If you do buy something don't plan on getting a set to match. I would rate it higher for ecverything else but this just ruined my experience of the whole store. read more
