I originally booked a flower arrangement at this location and it ended up to be a grand reopening event with lots of goodies. This place felt like a quiet refresh in the best way. The place have been beautifully updated with modern designs; clean lines, soft textures, and pieces that feels both stylish and confortable. That specific day offers reopening discounts, which makes it a nice time to browse if you've been thinking about updating your space. They were offering $500 off coupons on any purchase. It didn't feel overwhelming or overly busy. Just a viby uplifiting day, with music on, lots of snacks at every corner while you browse. They had vendors and raffles to complete the environment; Noc Box Coffee, Partied by Ana and Bubbles & Blooms were there. They were all welcoming and making sure you enjoyed your stay. They make sure you grab your goodies and any extra info that you needed. NOC BOX COFFEE :: They served the best and premium coffee that I've ever tasted. And it's from a tiny cart. They don't have a specific location. They only do catering and sometime pop up events. If you ever seen them or have a chance to grab their coffee, DO IT! It's so good! I had the Hazelnut Hug and it was bomb! The chocolate taste like premium chocolate. It doesn't taste artificial at all. The chocolate just melts and mix in well with the bitter coffee. Their sweet cold foam is perfectly sweetend; not too sweet. RATE : 5/5 PARTIED BY ANA :: They have the cutest and the most delightful treats ever. They brought mangonada ice cream and churros. Nothing special here. It just taste like another other place. They pefrectly portioned it out and decorate it. RATE : 5/5 BUBBLES & BLOOMS :: What a cute little floral cart. They had the most freshest flowers on hand. They helped you picked out your flowers, up to 5 flowers and maybe 2 sides greens. RATE: 5/5 OVERALL : What a lovely grand reopening event. I just want to share my experience at Ashley furniture yesterday. I came in looking to purchase a new recliner chair. I was greeted right as I walked in. Asked if I was looking for anything specific and directed to the area of the store I could find them. Everything was smooth and as I expected coming in. I hadn't even sat in a chair yet before the sales lady came back asking if I had any questions. I kindly told her no and told her I would be looking around. She walked away. Long story short, she continued to hound me with the same question every minute I was there. It made me feel like I wanted to hide. I loathe this type of sales tactic. IF I needed help, I would find the help or look around helpless. After about 30 minutes there, I genuinely found a chair I liked and could see myself purchasing. At that time I asked her for her help. She offered to see what kind of discount she could get me since they were having an "up to 25%" off sale. She then preceded to ask me for my name, phone number, email address, and then once she asked for my mailing address I stopped her right there. I wasn't looking to give her my info freely so the company could hound me with calls, mailers and junk e-mail, I just wanted a price. My patience was wearing thin. Finally she accepted my zip code only and provided me with the price. I asked for the sale price however instead of providing that, she gave me the price it would be with their warranty, delivery and tax. NOT what I asked for. Price was around $1400. I asked hehe to see the breakdown. They gave me 15% off which ended up covering the delivery fee. I had them remove the warranty and the price came down to $1201. I asked for some time to discuss it with the people I brought with me so she walked away. After 1 minute she came back saying she talked to her manager and was able to add the warranty back on and give me a bigger discount. Ultimately making the chair price now $1194. Is this a joke? At that time she was making the whole experience bad. I truly felt like I was buying a car on a car lot. My household has bought our last 4 furniture pieces for Ashley furniture but this was horrible. We had gone to Living Spaces before coming here. I wanted to see what options I had. After being greeted when entering and asked if we had been there before, they let us know that none of the employees work off commission and would not be pushing anything on us. I couldn't believe the comfort I had in my shopping experience there. They had plenty of people around and a few checked in with us through out the time there. But I never once felt pressured to buy anything or haggle on anything. And though I ultimately didn't buy a chair there, it was because I didn't find the right chair. Though I really did want to buy one there. We ended up leaving Ashley and going to Mor. I found a chair I liked there too and it was more affordable and the warranty and delivery were cheaper. We had a sales person greet us and check in with us every 10 minutes or so. But they gave us space and freedom. Overall, Ashley furniture, you need to calm down on your sales agents (sharks). They stand around looking for chum in the water. I also didn't like seeing 3 of them stand around and talk about how one of them just lost the sale because their buyers left and they didn't know why. How they spent so much time on them and thought they had it. Save that talk for the break room. Your customers are people, not $$$. Do better or I won't be surprised when you're out of business. read more

I came in here looking to furnish my new apartment. I just needed a few pieces like a dresser and sofa console. Since it was the new year, they still had some mark downs and I was able to find a sturdy dresser for a really low price and a console. Sales person wasn't too pushy and was able to find me exactly what I needed. Delivery was painless. They set everything up in like 15 minutes. The showroom is basic tho. We popped in here to just browse and ended up buying a floor model dining room set. We really liked the look of the set, but LOVED the price. For $1,400, we got a 6ft table with a removable leaf, a matching buffet, 6 chairs, two dinnerware sets, two placemat sets, a candle holder set, and a designer decorative piece. The table and buffet alone were almost $1,200 on the original price. To be honest, we tried have to have them keep the candler holder and deco piece and possibly shave $100 off the price, but they wouldn't go for it. When I asked why this set was on discounted so low the sales person told me they're simply running out of room on the floor. In fact he mentioned that this set came out either this year or late last year; it's brand new. Typically when a floor piece is put on sale, It's gone that day or the next. Right as he was explaining this, a customer came up and inquired about the table. We did walk around before seeing our final purchase and the selection in-store here is just ok. You're better off finding your furniture on their website and then coming in here to order. The majority of the furniture in-house is decent quality, but feels more geared towards an older demo? We prefer modern, sleek pieces and most of the stuff here is big and chunky. My big pet peeve here is that their sales people are very, very aggressive. Every time we turned around somebody was asking... "do you have any questions? - "do you want to set up an account?" - "did you know we can put furniture on a wishlist?" ... Yikes! Beyond that, if you are looking for furniture, it's definitely worth it to stop by and see what kind of sales they're having. read more

1 Star -- Absolutely Unacceptable I wish I could give zero stars. I ordered a couch from Ashley Furniture, paid in full, and somehow still don't know where my couch is. Delivery was scheduled for Saturday 9/12. The delivery team showed up around 2:45 PM, called to say they were outside, and when I explained I was at work and needed 30 minutes to get home, they left in under five minutes. This is not an exaggeration -- it's literally on my Ring camera. What makes this worse? After they left, I called customer service and was explicitly told the delivery team would return after 4:00 PM. I rearranged my entire day and waited. No one came back. No call. No text. No explanation. Since then, I've emailed, called, and texted multiple times with zero meaningful response. No confirmed delivery date. No update. No idea where my couch even is -- just a charge on my credit card for furniture I don't have. Being charged for an item that was never delivered, combined with broken promises and total silence, is beyond frustrating. This is some of the worst customer service I've experienced from a major furniture company. At this point, Ashley Furniture either needs to: Tell me where my couch is Give me a guaranteed delivery date Refund my money Or compensate me for this mess If you value your time, money, or sanity, I'd think twice before ordering from here. We recently got this new item for our home. First I went online to compare what type of dining table I wanted. Then I went to the Ashley furniture store to see the dining table in person. The table was the same price online and in the store which is amazing. The salesperson was very knowledgeable as well. They informed us they provide delivery and set up with an extra cost. The delivery date was set up within a week. They finally arrived it literally took the delivery men fifteen minutes of their arrival. My family and I are very pleased with this furniture purchase. well looks like another bad review for this place based on what im seeing here. purchased new couch set after years of owning previous ones and settled for a ashley furniture set, when new couches were delivered the delivery guys cut the big couch with his boxcutter while taking off the protection plastic and failed to notify me of this issue. upon inspection later in the day noticed the big gash and of course these are brand new so i figured ashley furniture would simply consider these "delivered with damage" but no thats not how it works, instead of returning these couches due to damage on delivery they want to repair the couch..imagine that a brand new couch that was delivered and damaged is not going to be replaced instead its getting repaired like if I damaged it. the big kicker is now they want to replace the entire backside of this brand new couch which means tearing into this even more haha what a joke this place is..its brand new why would i want a brand new couch that is going to look like frankenstein in the back, i didnt cause this damage, this is not a claim, this is damage on delivery. let this be a warning if you deal with ashley furniture and something gets damaged while being delivered/assembled you will have to simply just deal with it by having ashley attempt to repair something that was damaged on delivery. read more

I purchased a cream Lindyn sofa and loveseat from the Fresno Store 10/16/23. My sales person was phenomenal. She offered delivery the next week but I wasn't ready. We negotiated a date and I left happy. Unfortunately that is where the praise ends. I scheduled delivery 11/29, as I had renovations in process. On 11/28, I called to reschedule to 12/2. On 12/1, I received a call from Ashley advising they did not have all pieces and needed to reschedule. They offered 12/8, but I was not available. The next date was 12/13. I reluctantly accepted. I called the store to ask if they could help with a date prior to the 8th. I spoke with a male there and he assured me that he could have my delivery date to 12/6. He also said he could ensure the price was adjusted to the current price. 12/6/23 came and went - no contact was made (email/text/automated calls) and no furniture. But no biggie. I was definitely scheduled 12/13/23. In the meantime I had seen the price of the furniture drop and had called on 11/25 and 12/1 to ensure my price would be adjusted to the lower rate. Stay tuned. I called the store 12/13 to ensure the price had been adjusted. I spoke with "Peter". Peter did not let me explain the reason for my call, rather, after using my tel#, he gave my delivery info. He summarized by stating "It's coming later today--why are you calling?" I was a bit shocked at his tone but tried to explain my purpose. Peter talked over me repeatedly. Finally I stated in frustration "Do I need to get in my car and come down? Peter said, "Congratulations-You have a car". About 15 mins later, I stood in the showroom and asked customer service to call "Peter". A man came after their call and gave me a business card (attached). When asked was he Peter he said no. The customer service ladies confirmed he was Peter so he lied. When asked if I would receive the price adjustment, he said no. I asked if that was his final answer after explaining there were notes to support prior approval. He said no. Unfortunately, the store manager is on extended leave. I was forced to call Ashley corporate customer service. I also decided to CANCEL the delivery. I'd rather sit on the floor at Xmas than buy from rude and inconsiderate people /establishments. I will NEVER buy from the Fresno Store as long as the have "Peter" on payroll. He is rude and condescending and has zero decorum. When we called to check on the status of the order we were told we would be lucky to get by Christmas( purchased it in September) The lady was extremely rude and very unprofessional. I've only been here twice. I was alittle reluctant to return the second time due to our first experience but glad my husband and I did. First experience was back in July we felt bombarded with all these salesman. As we entered we were greeted and we just wanted to freely browse around but we felt pressured and not one but multiple sales man was constantly hounding us it was a bit overbearing and really ruined our experience and since then my husband and I just decided to visit other furniture stores up until this month when we moved in to our new home and we were a bit desperate to find the right furniture set after visiting so many other places with no luck. So we decided to give this place another try. Once again upon entrance we were greeted by one salesman his name was Alex and he asked if there was something we were looking for specifically and I basically said we just wanted to browse around the living room set. He introduced himself and allowed us to freely browse and said he will check on us. As we were browsing other sales reps came up to us asking if we needed help or had any questions and I simply said Alex was helping us. It was a bit strange how some sales rep would just creepily follow us. After some time Alex approached us and asked how we were doing we asked him a few questions and we actually found the right living room set and asked if it was in stock. Luckily the set we wanted was in stock and was told they could ship in 7 days! We were so glad. However our ottoman was back ordered til December but not a big deal. They had a promotion going on if we financed but we opted out and paid it in full and he was still able to give us a huge discount. Our grand total was significantly less than the listed price and he was also able to include delivery with set up as well as the protection plan. The only issue we had was during check out I had to swipe my card multiple times and although my account stated the transaction was "pending" they didn't see the payment on their end. So we were charged twice but we were able to get a refund 2 days after talking to customer service. The furniture had 2 color options platinum and smoke. I liked the smoke color but my husband preferred the platinum so we chose the platinum but when it was delivered the smoke color came in. It was a mistake that actually worked. We decided to keep the smoke color. They delivered quick, 2 days after we purchased our furniture I received another e-mail stating they could deliver sooner than the 7days and I had the option to choose the date which was amazing. The delivery service guys arrived promptly at the time scheduled. They set up my furniture the way I wanted and they also cleaned up the wraps and packaging. All though there were a few mishaps. Overall we had a better experience with our sales rep Alex and we are so happy with our purchase. read more

They have to be delivered, but Antonio NEVER MENTIONS $129.99 delivery fee. The next thing I know, I see the receipt which shows $1018.33 w/ surprise delivery fee AND extra $99.99 tacked on, but there's NO LISTING of what the extra $99.99 charge was for. Whoa. I immediately canceled the order once I saw the purchase price had ballooned to $300 OVER the price Antonio had quoted for 2 chairs. The manager never seemed to be able to explain why salesperson Antonio never mentioned the surprise delivery fee. Manager/salesperson never explained why there was also an EXTRA INVISIBLE $99.99 added but not itemized on receipt. I will never shop there again. PLEASE BE VERY WARY WHILE SHOPPING AT THIS LOCATION!! Did not receive no clarification from Jerry Lowe (the sales rep who helped us) about the color of the couch he had ordered for us. It then arrived in the wrong color we picked. And since then, Ashley's customer service has been refiling claims, and asking us to wait 48-72 hours for a reply. It's been over a week now and still no response. And They refuse to connect me with a supervisor when asked. Then I was told to wait another 24-48 hours for Ashely's Homestore to speak with Jerry Lowe to confirm his side of the story. This was Monday. I had told customer service that this can't be true because Jerry Lowe works Thursday-Monday? As shown on his Ashely's Homestore business card given to us. So I asked why would that be the reason I wait for a response if those are his days off? Because the store management had lied about this, I then asked customer service to contact me to the store before I had to drive in. But the store refused to answer the four calls from customer service about my problem. We then drove to the store at 7502 N. Blackstone Ave, 93720 to talk with Steven ( The manager) who claimed he was not aware of our situation at all... but then later on before we left the store, he mentioned how he knew about our situation all along??? and that's why they had our papers aside ready for us so when we had walked in, they can refuse us a refund our exchange... We were then told to contact customer service who then told us to wait another 48-72 hours and still refuse to connect me to a supervisor. In all from the staff to the management and customer service have all been very unprofessional. For a manager to claim to not know about the situation, but then put papers in our face and explain that he had them ready for us to disregard our situation and why they can't help us. And too, the customer service who asked us to keep waiting 48-72 hours while getting no response, time and time again, and not allowing us to speak to someone higher in management about the way we've been being treated. If I could give 0 stars I would. I will never order from Ashley furniture again! I had the worst experience ever. I purchased the bolanburg set (cal king bed, matching dresser, mirror, tall chest of drawers, and nightstand) and paid extra for set up and delivery. I was super excited for my brand new beautiful furniture after 7 weeks and I happened to be out of town when said delivery occurred. They set up the wrong bed!! So then I am told I have to wait another 7 weeks while they order the correct set. I was at work when this was delivered, but my boyfriend was home. When I got home I noticed a large crack running down the side frame and called to complain as I had just spent over $7,000 on new furniture and did not pay for something broken. I was told they were busy and would receive a call later but never heard back. Fast forward to a year and a half later, aka present day, and I am moving. When I took my bed apart I discovered that the guys who set it up put the running boards on the wrong side!! The right was on the left, and the left was on the right and that's what caused the crack!!! Are you fucking kidding me? They're labeled for God's sake!! Not only that, but one of the feet was also stripped and off center. There is no way to repair this. I have called and received the same message, "we will get back to you" but have heard nothing. I talked to a customer service representative about my furniture being delivered damaged. I had to keep repeating myself and he kept asking me if I wanted to cancel I told him already have half of the couch one piece was damaged should I keep a half couch and cancel rest of order makes no sense. I asked why all the orders from the factory are already damaged and I know the drivers are very careful as far as I have seen. He hung up on me I will not be ordering from Ashley's anymore. I love my salesperson Angie but I can't deal with lack of quality control and missing full days off of work to receive broken items from the factory I also have a piece of my brand new couch that is broken too and I will have to call back next week to get someone back on the phone since the jerk I spoke to hung up. Covid-19 phase: Masks worn by workers and required! This place got pretty busy, but social distancing is practiced and it is open and clean! I went here with my mother to get a new dining room set together. The one we have is almost 10 years old and it is from when I lived with my ex so a new one is needed! Lol! The one I have now was bought at a department store and not the best quality. After so many years the legs are broken on some chairs and the table is worn out and stained! They have tons of different, good furniture varieties! It would be hard not to find something. We found a great quality table with a very nice quality Marble-like top. Much better than the all wood one we have that I brought when I moved in with my ex. Soon to be had. ;) The worker Cruz helped us and was very nice. He definitely knows how to do his job and made the buying experience better. Bought a table and chairs set and it will be delivered next Saturday. It comes with quality leather cocktail chairs! When I walked in I already knew what I wanted I paid in FULL for a table and a rug . The sales men told me they are in the stock at the warehouse and gave me a date and said it would be the following week but I won't receive both items and I asked him to push it out to the following week to receive both and so I extended my delivery two weeks in instead of one to get both my items . The weekend before I get my things I get a call saying my items are not in the warehouse yet they need to extend me delivery , we extended it . Ever since then they kept extending my delivery because items weren't in stock ! I called the manager and he said they don't tell us a date for delivery they give us a time frame and I let him know that he needs to train his sales men over because I was not told that and he always says on the receipt it states delivery will be delayed if not available and that was a LIE and he also said he's not going to help me with anything because I've only waited a month . He was very rude and didn't care what so ever . Never again will I order from Ashley's furniture , they are suppose to be a high brand furniture store with good quality service but they have horrible delivery and once they sale is over the people in the store including the manager do not care after . read more

Couches were purchased and damaged on day of delivery, the store has been no help with replacement they just want to try and take apart the whole couch to repair. Spend your money at another store or online as this local store is a all sales are final store per the manager I spoke with (Daniel) read more
