So livingspaces damaged my new home by having incompetent possibly drunk movers. I reported this to them and they had their 3rd party reach out to me. Look at the ridiculous level of information they are demanding (taking up my time and possibly costing me money to get bids and estimates) to fix a problem they created : My name is Arkitha, and I will be reviewing your property damage claim on behalf of FGO Logistics, LLC to determine how we may assist in resolving this matter. We paid for full-service delivery, including bringing the furniture inside and assembling it. However, the delivery team did not provide the service we purchased. Instead, the furniture was left outside our door. The delivery team informed us that we would receive a refund for the full-service delivery charge because they were unable to complete the service. When we later contacted customer service, our refund request was denied. This is unacceptable. Living Spaces charged us for delivery and assembly services that were never performed, yet the company has retained the full payment. read more

Upon walking in the service was on point, as we felt no pressure to buy. They checked on us and offered various products to drink. They have a bar in the back and large showroom. Parking was no Issue as they have a huge lot. I was clear on what we wanted and the price range. The sales person was knowledgeable about the product and was so helpful. We bought and now are awaiting delivery. They have great quality items for a decent price. They do have clearance that you would not believe. read more

Came for a couch, stayed for the cocktails. But actually, Living Spaces has a bar inside of the store and while your new dining set may cost a pretty coin, your cup of cab, will not. While the bar is not full service, they do offer several beers and wines in addition to espresso drinks and smaller bites. Most of the food items are catered towards kids but they have some pretty universal options like chips and guacamole ($2.50), hummus and pretzels ($2.50), chicken strips ($3) and personal pizzas ($3). For beverages, every single option on their menu is $2, including alcohol. That's hard to beat. While those prices are certainly nothing to complain about, the staff member working behind the bar shared that the store will sweeten the deal even further by crediting your food and beverage purchases up to $50, off of any furniture purchase. This has been the worst customer service experience I've had. I am now on my third replacement for a damaged item, and no one seems able to resolve the issue correctly. The biggest problem isn't even the repeated damaged deliveries, it's the lack of support from the customer service representatives. My original nightstand arrived damaged, so I requested a replacement with no issues. The replacement also arrived damaged, which I refused at delivery. I was then told by a representative to keep the original damaged item and that no return was required, and they would send out a third replacement. When the third replacement arrived in good condition, the delivery team suddenly requested an exchange for the original damaged item which I had already given away based on the representative's instructions. Since then, I've been going back and forth with customer service with no resolution. I am still missing one nightstand, and no one has reviewed the call logs to confirm what I was told. Pretty cool store. The people that work there are very helpful. I love their selection. They have a little bit for everyone. They have a decent amount of cars that are in the parking lot on a Saturday, HOWEVER i didn't see many people leaving with anything or at the registers. That's just my POV when it comes to huge stores. (Or even restaurants, if it's empty, I wanna know why.) Their website is in real time, the sofas I saw online were def in stock. As far as value, a little over priced I saw a cute small yellow "vintage" alarm clock i wanted to get for my son... $45. Hmm... not exactly worth it, considering it didn't work. Lol I don't suggest buying the art pieces/ rugs that people become engulfed into when they're spending money on furniture here. They could improve on customer service post purchase. The manager Amanda was nice on the first visit and the design lady who helped us the second visit made us uncomfortable with her comments. Whether is about race, body shaming, or sexuality, she hit on all points during the order placement. The customer service upon follow up for our delivery was trash. There is not a direct number to contact the physical location. The 1-800 number go out of the country. They didn't know anything about my questions. I couldn't discuss my couch delivery because the store put the wrong name on the order. We are now being charged more for delivery. I wouldn't shop here unless it's only for budget. Unfortunately. I wanted a feature that they only had. I should've been more patient. I would not choose to spend money here again. I would rather a store that fave me access to call them directly instead of someone in the Philippines . The protection plan is a waste. It doesn't add to the convenience. If you clean up a spill instead of leaving it there to soak into the fibers more, it voids the care warranty. Some could see it as a scam. read more

I took a few months to buy a couple of big items and checked almost all the big box furniture stores. I ended up really liking two pieces. Let me tell you what a hell the delivery has been. The tv stand was lost in transit and they had to order another one that took 3 more weeks. I received it 1.5 months after I had purchased it. The desk...... it was my first good adjustable desk, they lost the little remote to go up and down. They finally received it. 6 months after my purchase! 6 months to get a remote! I bought three pieces of furniture. Two in stock, one custom made to match the in stock items. We agreed to have all pieces delivered together, so about 3 weeks out. Three days prior to delivery I call to confirm all three pieces will arrive, confirmed by your customer service. The day of I get one piece. I had to talk to two people to have the chaise delivered today from 6pm-midnight. If it was in stock why wasn't it on the truck? Why is the in stock sofa I already purchased on back order? Apparently we were lied to on the floor by your salespeople per Duan, the saleswoman who sold us our furniture. "Everything here [in this section] is in stock at our warehouse", that is what the man at the front of the store told us. Duan said the vendor is the problem here, the same vendor that was able to custom make a piece for a premium price, the only piece to arrive, and can't be returned, couldn't fulfill my order. I have a family of five and no furniture. No ETA on my sofa "depending on how long it takes we can discuss a discount" - this is not good customer service, it's just another lie. Fraud, bad customer service, unethical, extreme incompetence. Living spaces signed me up for a credit card without my consent. I was told it was financing (not a credit card) and I was also told it would not be submitted to the bank because the item I wanted wasn't in stock and I wasn't making a purchase that day. Come to find out! I have a new credit card. Don't sign up for their financing! Or even apply! They will fraudulently submit you to the bank for a new credit card. And then guess what? When you call the credit card company they'll tell you sorry!!! You signed up for the credit card. read more

Terrible Experience - Unprofessional and Unhelpful I had an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience with Living Spaces -2660 Fountain View Dr, Houston, Texas 77057. I ordered a custom couch and was really excited--it was my first new couch, and I could design it exactly the way I wanted. It was a big expense for me and my husband, but we wanted something nice for once. At no point during the process was I informed of the actual name of the fabric I chose. But the salesman - Kareem Harris - took us to an existing couch in the store that had the fabric we wanted and kept vaguely pointing at the fabric and asking, "Is this what you want?" which led to them putting the wrong fabric name on my order. When the manager - Shawn - came over to review the order, he didn't say the name of the fabric either; he just asked if that was what I wanted. As a result, I received a couch with fabric I never asked for. When I returned to the store to get the issue fixed, I was told they needed to talk to the salesman and would call me back. They never did. I followed up multiple times, only to get the runaround. When they finally called me back, they told me it was my fault for choosing the wrong fabric, and they couldn't do anything about it. When I asked the manager if he remembered my order, he had the nerve to tell me he remembered reading the fabric name but didn't mention it because he couldn't pronounce it. After that, they directed me to customer service, who were just as unprofessional and unhelpful. I was told they would call me back within three business days, which never happened. I had to follow up twice more to finally get an answer--again blaming me for their mistake. The entire experience was infuriating, with staff being condescending throughout the process. Forget customer service, forget support, forget quality, and forget timelines. Ordered all new living room furniture. Items arrived late, in the wrong color, and support after the fact was a Netflix worthy comedy show. No managers available to address the issue, refund issued and pickup of items with no timeline for resolution. If you like to gamble or sub par brands, shop away. My husband and I bought a storage ottoman from Living Spaces. It was a Special Order. I signed the Special Order contract but didn't read it carefully. So when it came in it was Not a Storage Ottoman ! Yikes my fault had to return it for a restocking fee . The salesperson remembered me but told me my special order was in fact not available in a storage ottoman !! The model I wanted was available as it was shown in green no other color available.In any case after talking to the manager we found out it WAS available but the wrong one was ordered and I didn't realize it until it arrived. So check your Special Order and make sure the salesperson is clear about the item or you're stuck. This is not a store for SPECIAL ORDER. We went to Star Furniture. Their staff is trained. read more

I purchased a couch at living spaces.The delivery was fine.It was promised in 3 weeks was delivered in f4wks upon receiving the couch.I measured the couch because it was supposed to be 73 inches.It turns out from back-to-back.It's 63 inches.I complained they sent out a tech of course the tech agreed with them.And so I am stuck with a love seat /not couch,which should have been a couch that I spent unnecessary money for and i'm not able to return it because it's quote on quote "special ordered" living spaces. Wildly frustrating experience!!! Living Spaces will sale you a $7000 bed all day long. Then, they give you the biggest hassel when it comes to selling the specialty sheets. I spent over $13k at Living Spaces. However, because of the most unnecessary runaround with purchasing these sheets, I will NEVER shop at this store again!! Also, BUYER BEWARE.....you cannot reach any of the Living Spaces stores by phone. Customers can talk to customer service in some far away land----you all know how frustrating and pointless that is! You can email the store (eye-role). They tell you they will respond quickly. They don't. I won't do business with a store that doesn't allow phone calls to the store. Management would not allow our freshly potty-trained toddler to use the restroom siting "liability" issues after the recent hurricane as power was still out (no lack of water or other logistical hindrances). They were able to allow shoppers into their hot and dark store to spend our money and had a seemingly full staff of employees able to work but were adamant that our toddler could not use their facilities as it was "too dark" in there. The back of the store also had lights on so I find it hard to believe they didn't have other options for their working employees but would not give me a straight answer on that. I purchased 2 matching chairs. They were delivered the end of April, 2023. I live alone so mostly I only sit in one chair. In less than 3 months the cushion in my chair started braking down to the point where I could feel the springs. Very uncomfortable. I called the company, they sent someone out to "Fix" it. This could not be fixed. He sat in the chairs and agreed with the problem. They would send a new chair...NO I said. Why send the same chair? They send it anyway. It's about 6 weeks old and doing the same thing. Really bad product. Now they say I can go to the store, pick out another chair of the same price $550.00, pay for the delivery, again, and figure out what to do with the 3 chairs in my small living room. They will not pick up the broken chairs. So I end up with either one chair only, or 2 that don't match. Who's to say this next chair will be any better. They were fully aware from the beginning of the complaint that I'm a single female 76 years old with no good way to remove the old chairs. I have 3 in my living room now. This store may have better pricing than others but the products are not worth the less expensive price. Another example of greed. Fred and Amanda were amazing to work with in helping me choose my sleeper sofa. I was greeted warmly when I arrived and I never felt like I was dealing with "a pushy salesperson". Amanda took her time with me and showed me around the showroom to various sofas and rugs that she thought would fit my taste. It felt like shopping with a friend. She really went above and beyond. The bar with snacks, wine, beer, and TV's is a very nice touch. Delivery was seamless. Jose and Edwin were kind, conversational, and careful. I'm sitting here writing this from my new sofa. This is our first time shopping here. Found a beautiful bench - setup delivery for Monday- received an email verifying our delivery day and time. Rearranged our schedule. Notified by a lady Leslie around 4 on Sunday that it would be a few days before we could get it. She said the email was automatically sent - didn't mean anything. The bench is a floor model at the Katy store. Logistically they had to come from Humble - pick it up from Katy - get it to Humble and deliver it when it was scheduled. Leslie had no idea how many days that would entail. Why could they pick it up from Katy - we are literally 5 miles away and just deliver it to us? She was the Operations Manager and customer service is not their priority. So maybe Saturday? She left us feeling like she really didn't care in getting this resolved. Beware Consumer! read more

This is not this locations fault but Living Spaces has the worst customer service. I ordered a recliner online, got a delivery date, got an email the day before my scheduled of my delivery window. I took off of work to make sure I'd be there. I called the customer service to make sure the driver would have the gate code to my residence and found out the day it was supposed to be delivered that the warehouse does not have it in stock and the customer serviced rep had no idea when it was estimated. He finally found out and it was almost another month. The warehouse does not communicate with the online portal at all apparently. The customer service rep wouldn't let me speak to his manager or get me any phone email nothing to the warehouse. Bad bad bad way to do business. Really disappointed. I ordered the bed on July 3 and I got multiple confirmation email saying that the bed will be delivered full-service delivery on July 18. I worked my whole schedule around being there for delivery because I live out of town. Two days before I'm set to leave. I get a call saying that they can't deliver to me on the date that they told me because it's in a restricted area and that ruined the whole weekend for me because I worked everything around being there for the lady on the phone was unwilling to work with me in anyway wasn't even apologetic. So I set up the delivery to be on Wednesday which is the only day that they were willing to deliver to me but that's the day that my dad works so I just asked them if they could do it after 12 again they were unwilling to work with me in any way, shape or form, worst delivery experience I've ever had terrible customer service. Placed an order on 10/31. On 12/5, I called to get an update because I hadn't been called to schedule a delivery. I was told then that they couldn't fill my item. So they held my money and waited for me to call. I received a call from the store later that day and they told me basically the same thing. I said I don't like any of the items you're offering 15% off on so I think a $100 gift card would suffice (less than 15%) and I'll see what else was there. I was told that he can't authorize that, but he will talk to the manager and someone will call me back on 12/6 by 1p. No one called. I called back today 12/11 at 9:30a. Was basically told the same thing - they can't authorize but a manager would call me back within an hour. It's now 2p and no call. I was going to buy from here because it's cheap and I just wanted a bench for the end of my bed that no one would sit on - it was just to store pillows and etc. I would say you get what you pay for, except it never came. So I guess you get the quality of customer service equal to the price of the item. I'll just go to Ballard and see what they have. read more
