After a previous barn closed down, I started searching for a new one. Then I found Living Wells Farm, and guess what..... its 4 minutes from my house! I've been living in Maine for nearly 20 years, and never knew it was around the corner. So I went. My first visit went pretty well, one thing lead to another, and I was slowly getting more involved. But not to long after, something inside of me said, '' they're not that fond of me ''. But I shrugged it off thinking it was all in my head. So then a few months go by, and I'm having a birthday party there and I'm going to there Christmas events! I'm also getting along with the owner's son! But looking back, something about my birthday seemed off. It felt as though they would rather be somewhere else then socialize with me. Maybe I'm just too dang sensitive, but one of my biggest reasons for going there was just to make friends. Plain and simple. I've been struggling to find them, and I thought this was the place. They also charged me a heavy price for riding. Towards the end they invited and drove me to a horse show, and I actually had a great time! Then to top it all off, I was having a backyard bbq event they came to, and that also went well! But the next day, that's when everything kind of went downhill from there. They acted like the party never happened, and I started to get cold vibes from them, they stopped inviting me to things, plus they stopped contacting me, and everything else in general. Hopefully this is an eye opener for them. As for recommendations, I'm kinda in the middle. read more
