Took my Grand Daughter and Nephew while visiting us for a week. They loved it!!! Will def go again and try the zip line next time!

My husband and I came here and had a fabulous time! Everyone was so helpful and nice. It was our first time doing a ropes course, so there was plenty of staff there to help us with any questions we had while on and off the course. They give you 2 hours of adventure time but you can leave as early as you want. When we completed the course we even got free popsicles! We just did the obstacle course. While it was fine, there are no ziplines built in. If you want to do a zipline once, it's an extra $20 per person. Great for kids or just getting some exercise. Location is excellent too. The staff is meticulous and it is very safe, but it's a shame they don't warn you that the fun stuff isn't included. read more

This place was fun. We went on their last weekend before closing down for the season and the weather could not have been better. We were the only ones there for our appointment time so that was also a plus. They take the time to teach you how to use the course before you even get up there and make sure you are comfortable. Then they take you up and while they do not go with you, they are around so you feel as safe as you can possibly feel that high up. My daughter needed to do a video for college application and she opted to record her efforts on this course. We rented a GoPro from a rental place but they do have the equipment here if you want to record your adventure (they did say it takes a while to download, so be aware of that issue). Everyone was wonderful and supportive - I would totally do this again. The price is surprising but you get two hours of fun so I think it even outs. read more

I visited for 2 hours with my niece. I am 52 and an avid climber. She is 14 and not a climber but for sure an athlete. We both had a superb time. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The course makes you feel like you are a little kid on a GIANT jungle gym. The elements go up in a 3 level spiral that winds back on itself and gets more difficult as you ascend. Though they call the top level Black Diamond I saw many youth in the 5-10yo range navigating it with the parents. The way they have it set up so you can ascend to the top and then zip line into an out of a rear wooded area that has a few more elements. A tiny down-side is that it is right next to a pretty busy road....so don't expect a particularly natural setting (trees on 3 sides) however, the overall excellence of this experience far outweighed that factor for me. Another tip is if you find yourself behind a slower group, try using one of the many micro loops to do a few elements while you wait. Super fun. Thanks for the adventure! read more

My boyfriend and I went to Aerial Adventures today for the zip lining tour! Let me start by saying the tour guides were absolutely amazing! The patience they had for me when I was taking entirely too long to go (because of my fear of heights) was on a saint-like level. They made me feel extremely safe and cracked jokes along the way to keep me at ease! The pictures came out great and their customer service is unbelievable! I'm terrible with names but everyone from the front desk to other employees we just happened to speak to and, again, the tour guides were so friendly and made us feel so comfortable! If you're in the Kittery area and looking for something to do, this should definitely be a stop on your trip! read more

I've done several of these courses with my kids and this one was tough. It is free-standing and not in the woods (woods adds a cool factor), but nicely laid out. The elements range from medium to hard. The tire swings at the end are a serious butt-kicker. Why is there a hammock? Who thought up that crazy element? The staff were great. It was a hot day, but they had a sprinkler system on, water breaks and got us frozen popsicles half-way through. My daughters only complaint was that I was too slow! Also a plus ... the staff seem to care about the environment. There was a bird's nest under a platform, so the platform was closed until they could relocate that. Also, the zip line was closed, as they regularly check for bees. And, since they found honey-bees, they didn't want to spray. That's awesome! read more

Today was an adrenaline-rush like nobody's business. My family and I ventured to Take Flight to take part in their zip line program. My 7 yo, my wife, and I had an incredibly fun time. Our two guides, patience, kind, smart, and strong, Annie & Shea, were amazing. Thank God we had both of them. They helped all of us, and cheered us on throughout the course and our day. If you're into zip lining and a huge ropes course, this is the place for you. Ask for Annie & Shea -- they'll be by your side helping you out every step of the way. read more

I have nothing to criticize besides the price. If you never done anything like this, you will see that the price MAY be worth it. Every Element is challenging and brings out that fear in you. Every element you have to saddle up and attempt something new. Things that would make this experience a 5 star event is by having a staff on sight just snapping pictures and emailing to the consumer through email. It may be timé consuming but it will get the consumer to go over the top on referring this to others and they'll have pictures to show folks. As a photographer IIIIII even wanted to take pics and sell them on the parking lot. I could do that with ease and the pictures will be Awwwwesome!!! Recommendations: wear HARD sole shoes. Don't wear running sneakers. They are too soft and walking the cable may be slightly uncomfortable. With harder soles you'll have more support all around. Gloves: bring a thin leather pair of gloves. They don't have any for you and if you fear heights you will be grabbing on a bit tighter. Wear comfortable pants, shorts or sweats. I wore sweats and they were perfect. I had sneakers, not so perfect and wore no gloves and my hands got roughened up. Enjoy. Phenomenal team building activity, first date or may second date, awesome for couples, father and son or mother and daughter. Just great for the family. Lower the price about $5-$8 dollars please. Pricey but so much fun! Stumbled onto this place while touring Maine. Couldn't zip line on a weekday without a reservation booked. That was disappointing as this was an "impulse" stop, as in sure happens, being on a main road. But for around $35 a piece, our kids got to play monkey. After a brief instruction, our two got to pair off with each other and climb safely and at their own pace over two hours. There was a birthday party that day, but it wasn't crowded on a summer weekday. Lots of different obstacles types - rope "tacos", tires, goofy bridges...they are double-attached to safety ropes, and I didn't see any fall. Everything looks solid and well built. My kids loved it, and it made me want to join them! Staff was pretty attentive and accommodating. Make sure you put a pin in their giant wall map, marking where you live. Clearly, it attracts visitors from all over. I can imagine it would work well for Corporate team builders. read more

I organized a group trip to Take Flight for my sister's bachelorette party recently, and we had such a great time! The staff was so helpful when I called to make the arrangements, and they did everything to ensure that we had a fun and memorable experience! I'm not much of a daredevil, so I was slightly terrified on the course the entire time, but there were always staff members near by to offer help (and encouragement!). The staff seemed like mostly late high school/early college aged young men and women, and with that being said, I was SO impressed with their professionalism, knowledge, and courteous service. We had a fairly large group with mixed abilities and anxiety levels, and they ensured that we were all getting the most out of our experience. Also, they come around and take photos while you are on the course, and you can purchase the entire album on a zip drive for only $20! I had casually mentioned that I wanted a lot of photos to remember the experience, and the young woman taking pictures ended up taking over 150 of our group! It was probably the best $20 I spent all weekend. All in all, it was a great experience thanks to the dedicated and enthusiastic staff! The haunted walk started out fun when we arrived at 8pm and was told there would be a 20 min wait. Boy was I in for a scare... The initial line to get into the walk was a good 60 minutes, no exaggerating. Then throughout the walk there were various stops and wait in line. I have been in this second line halfway through the walk for a good 30 additional minutes. So in total (so far) we have been here for about 2.5 hours. There is no consideration for restrooms along the way, which considering they make you wait in line for so long is pretty unrealistic. I will never be coming to this haunted walk again. All we wanted was a fun evening and a little scare, what we got was a mediocre scare and holding our bladders for a good 2 hours. TL;DR: way too long of a wait, no restrooms, not really scary, except the price. Would not go if I was you. read more

My 8-year old and I had a lot of fun climbing the ropes course. When my tired old self got stuck and tangled on an obstacle, the staff were great and encouraging to help me get down. It was a hot day and maybe one more water station on the course would have been helpful to stay hydrated, but other than that we really enjoyed it! read more

Had a great time on the zip line course. You would think though that, after paying $124, they could provide you with some pictures for no extra cost. Instead, they took about 40 pictures and watermarked all of them on their website. If I want to download them all without watermarks, it would cost another $160 dollars at $4 per picture. My daughter and I had a wonderful experience today doing the adventure ropes. I would have liked to get the zipline in, but they only had it running in the latter half of their operating hours. The staff was wonderful in assisting when my daughter had fears, and needed assistance at the other end of a particular run when I was not able to be at both sides to cheer her on. At the end of the day, we left with a happy heart - and my child was thrilled that she allowed herself to grow personally with the experience - and would love to come back for the zip lines! read more

I am a camp director and took my group of 24 middle schoolers and 4 staff members here for a group trip and they LOVED it! The staff are thorough with directions, attentive, and incredibly helpful. Not a course for the faint of heart, this place is hard core. The staff is extremely experienced, professional, and helpful. You can really challenge yourself by going to the upper levels of the ropes course or you can decide to stay near the bottom so it's flexible enough for all levels. It's a very memorable day trip! Most of the staff is great. I expected multiple staff on each level to be available to help if needed. I waited for help on one level and there was only one staff member who was completely dedicated to a different group and did not try to help at all besides ordering me to just continue and stay with my group. I struggled for at least 15 minutes even after another staff member came to help. There are challenges that can be very tricky and it is hard to know how you'll do on those until you try. I was lucky once to have staff available to give tips and help me briefly reroute from my group but once I was in the other situation where staff was essentially not available on my level I used up all my energy not understanding how to navigate the obstacle and had to be blayed down. My team members were essentially waiting all that time at least 30 minutes for me to finish one bit. We were trying to descend as our time was way over. It would have been nice if staff would have made sure we left the course when our time was over. We would have been happy to comply with our turn ending. I noticed the instructors we had seemed to go on break or switch jobs about the time we were supposed to be leaving too. I just wanted to give the feedback that although we thought there would be people to help between the challenges on each level if needed that actually was not the case. I did eventually safely get blayed down. Not the ending anyone wants but grateful. There was a boy screaming in terror traveling the course with his dad. It would be nice if they could offer more tips for the challenges either online or during verbal instructions give you an idea of how to navigate or which ones are really very challenging and what level of strength is required. I'm thinking here of the hanging nooses! You are nowhere near the end after that so knowing the fastest way to get off after that would be great. read more
