If you are reading this....you might be in pain, frustrated, weak....wondering why you are "stuck." If you want to try accupuncture, you need to know that Dr. Zhao was a top medical doctor in China and has over 20 years experience here, even teaching at a nearby chiropractic school. I would really recommend a real Chinese person, especially a doctor for this type of medicine....she can give you so much background that westerners cannot. This is not western medicine, this is a different culture/philosophy, so please acknowledge that. She works by herself and does everything herself; she has no receptionist to answer calls or do paperwork (this lowers the office rates). So chances are when you call her, she is currently working. It is easier to ask your questions and understand the treatments either by going to her website or stopping in, if you can, to ask her. She has a strong Chinese accent and it may be harder to understand over the phone. The best part is, when you come to her, you have her all to yourself for at least an hour, usually $65.00. Insurance doesn't usually cover accupuncture....but think of it, an hour for consultation and treatment....so thorough. You can talk to her about anything you want, she has so much experience, so many suggestions and will customize the treatments to YOU. She also can provide herbs and supplements fairly inexpensively. She is one of my favorite practitioners of all time. She is super patient, knowledgeable and very supportive. You may or may not "feel" immediate results after your first visit: please don't give up. This is a process that involves much more than just showing up and getting needles....it is a whole philosophy (including nutrition, sleep, relaxation, allergies, etc) to help your healing journey.

I started back in October and have been going on the regular ever since. Heather is the owner and acupuncturist. I love her - she's friendly and sweet, makes you feel comfortable, and knows her stuff when it comes to any question you might have about your body and if acupuncture can help (it usually can). I always feel wonderful after my treatments and my knee pain is virtually gone now. Many health insurance plans allow for half price treatments for a certain number of visits, which makes it much more cost effective. Heather can answer those questions too. Also, the rooms are cozy and warm. You have the option to listen to soothing music, which I prefer to drown out other sounds and it's good white noise. She often has an additional heat lamp going. I believe it helps to accelerate the release of heat from whatever area is causing you trouble (in my case my knee). For those of you fearing needles, these are nothing. They are about the thickness of a strand of hair so you barely feel anything. What you will feel is relaxed and relieved of pain afterward. When I have a tricky spot that's been problematic, it will feel tingly as the needles unblock the acupuncture point. Trust me on this, it's amazing. I highly recommend it!

I wanted to go to a female, and that's actually very hard to find! I came here to see Dr. Amy Kocherberger. I came here for several months. She was always very upfront with me, and told me she wasn't exactly sure what the issue was either. My appointments with her were helping, so I kept coming for several months. More and more time was going between appointments until I'd have pain again, so I was happy with it. I had a completely separate medical issue occur, and my doctor recommended I no longer go, so that's the only reason I stopped going for the time being. I do think the office could be a little cleaner. Sometimes I'd go in a room and the paper they lay down would still be there from the last patient. Everyone was always very friendly though, and the people at the front desk are also very nice. There's also a bathroom you can stop in to fix your hair on the way out, lol.

One thing I do know Dr. Lange very likely is the best chiropractor in the County. I became aware of the doctor when my cousin needed a new chiropractor. I went to Angie's list as I was a member. I spent quite a while checking all the chiropractors in the county. One name kept coming up Dr. Lange. After the study I shared it to my cousin who had been using a chiropractor for years and years. She told me how great her chiropractor was but unfortunately the doctor was moving. As a result of my study she was going to try Dr. Lange. I said to my cousin Great tell me all about it once you meet the doctor! My cousin called me almost immediately after her appointment. I said Liz tell me what happened how was it? My cousin had an interesting way of answering it she said 'You don't know what you don't know'. I said Liz what do you mean? My cousin told me She had a really great chiropractor in the past but Dr. Lange was so much better thus she's 'You don't know what you don't know'. Well it got my curiosity going. A year later I had a neck problem and I was going to try Dr. Lange. This doctor was not the first time I had seen a chiropractor I have seen two others in my life. What I can tell you is the doctor took care of my problem almost totally the first time I saw him. I would say roughly 80% of my neck problem was gone.
