He and his team are all highly skilled, and incredibly friendly and welcoming. I had been suffering from debilitating low back pain and sciatica (down BOTH of my legs), as well as constantly tight and burning traps. Within a few weeks of upper cervical care, not only was I aware that my body was healing in significant ways, other things were changing that I hadn't even realized weren't working properly, and that I had no idea had anything to do with chiropractic; I was sleeping better, I was thinking more clearly, my anxiety was gone, my digestion had improved (I had a number of food sensitivities), and my allergies, which were getting fairly severe, went away completely. First of all, I've been here once and was referred by the Legends radio station for their "$29…read morefirst appointment" gimmick. The $29 covers an examination, a brief (but in depth) massage chair session and some minor adjustments. Actual adjustments, aka cracking your back like a glowstick is $35. I was not expecting to spend more than $29 at my first visit so I was a little off-put, and that's why I'm giving it 3 stars. Their program, on the other hand, seems very reasonable, $99 a month for at least 6 months (with early termination fees if applicable) for 4 sessions a month, or $35 for any adjustment. They do not take insurance but keep their prices competitive and low. They use a lot of technology at this practice, including laser and cryotherapy. Might be your thing, might not be. Doctor seemed plenty knowledgeable and I was even sent home with a sheet displaying various stretching exercises.

Dr. VanZeilen is a very gifted chiropractor. I had seen others and not gotten results or…read moreimprovements until I started seeing Dr. VanZeilen. He was able to get me on the path to corrective care and prevent further damage. My back used to "go out" so bad that I could not stand up. I'd fall to the floor in excruciating pain. I'd be stuck on the floor for hours. Trying to move at all was extremely painful. I went for an initial consultation, and he said he felt he could help my issues even though it was an old injury. He was right. I finally got relief, and my back never gets so bad that I can't stand up or walk. Since I started going to him, I no longer have chronic ear infections, TMJ pain, migraines, and dizziness. At one point, I was having issues with one of my knees, and he was able to fix that. He does tendon work and muscle release, which most chiropractors do not do. He looks at the whole body and determines what adjustment you need. He corrected scoliosis with a series of regular adjustments in one of my kids. The other kid complained of hip pain which was resolved with an adjustment. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. VanZeilen's chiropractic skill and care for his patients. His adjustment techniques address the problem and are based on what you need, not a one size fits all adjustment. At one point, I suffered a herniated disc. Dr. VanZeilen was able to help me. It healed up, and I did not need surgery. He cured me of the terrible migraines I suffered for years after a fall. That's reason enough to see him. We moved away for about a year, and one of the deciding factors in moving back was Dr. VanZeilen. We could not find anyone that provided this type of care elsewhere. Go see him. You won't regret it!
