Having dealt with a lot of property managers, both as a renter and as a landlord, it was very easy to evaluate this REMAX location; For a month before my arrival I received updated listings, and was in regular contact with the office. On the morning of our arrival (we made a "house hunting trip" prior to our actual move), the ladies quickly narrowed down the most appropriate listings, gave us keys and directions and allowed us to go look. Upon our return, and having made a decision, the process was straight-forward, and competently handled. For a few sticking points, the property managers were quick to contact the owners to try to reach an agreement (which, as an owner myself, I truly appreciate) as well as impress upon us the owner's concerns. Overall, an effective, efficient and welcoming office that made the process easy; we arrived at 0900 brand new to the area and by 1200 we ha viewed 4 houses, and had completed the process to rent the one we liked.

House was cleaned along with carpet but according to them, owner wasn't satisfied.. charged another $600-$700 for carpet to be recleaned when I've called 3 local places and got estimates, the highest was $350.. they said leaves were left in the yard! Now there are situations that do come about that they try to handle the best way possible and this does make people upset. All I can say is in my experience a lot of the issues arise from people not reading or understanding the contracts that are signed. Please read and ask questions. I was severely limited straight away in finding pet friendly housing in Hinesville GA. The second issue for me was safety. Third issue was clean and affordable. At Happy Acres I found all of these issues as non-existent. I lived in a clean 2 BR within a safe and quiet neighborhood. My dog was well accepted and the rent could not be beat! The staff was always friendly. The owner is reasonable and fair, yet unwavering in maintaining a respectable housing environment for tenants and guests. In addition, the maintenance folks were right on point providing excellent service in an immediate fashion whenever the unexpected problem would arise.
