Although I haven't learned to fly with them myself, I know they've got an excellent success rate, probably largely due to the attitude of the instructors. They're a really friendly and welcoming bunch, and if you're thinking of giving someone a gift of a trial flight, then I'd definitely recommend giving them a call before anyone else in the area. Last I knew, a trial lesson was around £85, so although it isn't cheap, it's a lot cheaper than buying an 'experience' from a company online!

What a fantastic place!! We went in late Winter and got a week when it snowed. The park was a…read morereally beautiful place in the snow and the cabins were so cosy!! We thought it would also be a great place to go in Summer with a big group of friends - as there would be nice places for bbqs A number of the cabins (ours included) had it's own sauna and spa bath which was fantastic. The other facilities were great in the cabin too - the kitchen was well equiped. It had a nice lounge area with DVD player, hi fi etc. Also on site, there is a nice pub and an indoor pool complex with health and beauty centre. There is also crazy golf, short tennis and tennis. You can hire equipment from the reception area. I think you can also hire bikes though we didn't do this. I would really recommend as it was great value for a short break and there are lots of places nearby worth a visit. Very relaxing place!!

If you are staying on the park everything costs extra, even the electicity for your cabbin. Best thing about Darwin is the location, in the middle of a wood it is beautiful, and the staff are always ready to have a chat and offer advice about the area.

They have decent prices and if you can fill a coach, split the cost between you it works out fairly inexpensive. The staff are friendly, take your details then ring you back the same day. They ask for a deposit - 50% I think but that's expected everywhere. The coaches aren't really luxury and some need a bit of a revamp but they get you from a to b no problem!

The main concourse of the station is pretty noticeable and modern, including a couple of shops / small-take away kiosks, there isn't particularly places to sit down and get something to eat/drink in the station which is annoying, but there is a Superdrug and Marks and Spencer Simply Food. There are places nearby in the city centre for food, however. I hate the lift at this station which takes you up to the footbridge, it must be the world's slowest lift, the doors take forever to close up to the point they're forced to have a sign in the lift, it says they're "working on it", but it's been like that for over two years... I guess it will stay like that. I think the station is A-OK, but still miles apart from other stations in Yorkshire including York and Leeds. 3*

Departure board is easy to read and the signage clearly points out which way to which platforms. There is a beautiful sculpture / fountain out front.

They are all arranged on racks right up to the ceiling, your clothes of choice being selected with a large hook on a pole, reminded me of a fairground stall! The shop also sells a good range of walking shoes, rucksacks and tents too. All the items are of good quality and heavily discounted, which is a bonus.
