As a first time mom, I was nervous about the whole process and handling the baby, but Julia took all concerns away and we even walked out with some helpful tips for the baby. Julia works with her husband Roman, who is also very knowledgeable and helpful with babies. I've never seen two people work so well and in sync together. The studio is very warm and cozy, so the babies don't get cold. My baby slept through the entire shoot, and if she was getting even a little fussy, Julia had the best ways to soothe her.   I can not recommend Julia and Roman enough, and will definitely be coming back for any future shoots.  If you are looking for someone who is professional and loves and cares for what she does, hands down Julia Rozental is your photographer!!! We did a multi generational shoot this past Saturday and the patience Chao exhibited was that of a saint. His energy levels put a toddler's to shame and he will not give up until he has found a way to capture the image he is seeking perfectly. We were a tough group- a grandma with a tin meniscus and broken elbow, a grandpa with mild cognitive impairment, a surly teen who did not want to be at a studio, and a crazy toddler who didn't want to sit still. Plus my husband and me ( who pestered him incessantly about wanting to not look so fat lol) . Chao still managed to get 98 spectacular shots that I had emailed to me by 7 pm the following day. Unreal. Sometimes I think there is a ridiculous misconception that this is an "Asian" wedding studio. Sure, the owners are Taiwanese BUT perfect English is spoken AND they have shot events at every amazing venue for every ethnicity all over the tri state area- check out the stunning photos on their website! Gorgeous. And I won't even begin to tell you how reasonable the pricing is. It has to be heard to be believed. We've used other studios in the past who have charged three times as much for a fraction of the photos. And the photographers have not been anywhere near as accommodating. I'd give them TEN stars if I could!

She has a gift for capturing special moments and portraying the mood of the event in her photographs. There were four different backgrounds set up for the event. Thankfully, two of the backdrops were located inside. Jamie's communication with us during the shoot was amazing. She was clear with her directions and got our small family of three into over a dozen different positions in the short fifteen minutes. Our son was nervous before meeting Jamie but quickly warmed to her. It wasn't long before she had him smiling, giggling and playfully posing for her. Correspondence from the very beginning was top notch. We received an email confirming the appointment, a reminder email and shortly after the shoot another email with information on how to access our pictures. Questions that I emailed were addressed quickly both by the staff and Jamie. I truly feel blessed for having met Jamie. She is a beautiful, talented photographer that I would highly recommend to anyone.

The next day they showed up and asked myself and my roommate if we were interested. Since my cell was broken, I couldn't really take any picture, so I jumped at the chance. The photographers were SOO friendly, and they handled my baby with care. I chose package C which give u 5 poses. They had a WIDE selection of props, for my son we had a crown, blocks that spelled out his name, a turtle hat and shell cover, and a sash that said baby boy, that's what we got before he started crying LOL. we also caught his first smile! They worked with me because I didn't want any 5 by 7s. and I would recommend them again and again :-) the only draw back is waiting to get ur pics. it takes about a month. but I am very happy with their service.

We turned down the in-hospital portraits, mainly because we are on a budget and all of my family members who visited us had taken enough photos of our son to fill dozens of albums. On a visit to Babies R' Us my wife entered a raffle being held by this company and she was contacted a few weeks later, and was told she had won a free 8x10 and a no-cost at home session. Personally, I think it was just a marketing ploy but we took them up on their offer. The photographer, Bob, arrived 2 hours late, but once he got started we realized why that was...the man is a consummate professional. He was patient with our 1 month old son. He even waited as we did multiple diaper changes, a feeding break and change of clothes. He had pillows, blankets, toys and other props. What amazed me was the manner in which he was able to coax our son to laugh and giggle for him. After the photo session, we were delivered the proofs and that is when the sales pitch began. We were handed a stack of about 50 proofs, and asked to choose for our "prize" 8x10. We were interested in an economical package but their cheapest starts at $249. I figured we could buy a digital CD of our proofs but this studio "sells" you the rights to your baby's photos and proofs as a stand-alone item for $200. We decided to bite the bullet and buy the Silver Package which included all of the proofs plus the CD, in addition to the bundle 11x14, 8x10s, 5x7s, and wallet sizes. Now, that our choices have been made, we are simply awaiting delivery. Let's see how long they take, seeing how I've already pre-paid nearly $350 (tax and shipping included). Frankly, they are not at bad at what they do. The photos look amazing, and the quality of service is really good. The prices leave something to be desired, and the fact that they ask you to sign a waiver to use your child's photos in their promotions and websites without any compensation leaves a bitter taste. If they deliver on their promises, then we will definitely be using them in the future and perhaps referring them to family and friends.
