The lady at the parts counter had a bad attitude. Needed a part that was on their website. She insisted the part won't fit my vehicle. Tried to tell her my model of car has the same body style for 4 years. She said she needed to call someone to make sure. Like I don't know what I'm talking about. I found their listing on their website and showed her the part fits all 4 years. She then preceded to tell me she don't see the car I need the part for. She called another office and the vehicle was not in their system yet. ????.... How do they have it online listed to part out? Waited an hour and a half for the other office to send the info to parts counter. After that time the lady at parts counter told me she was sorry they don't have the car anymore. I'm sad to give this review. I noticed my car was leaking oil so I took it LKQ. It took a week for a quote, they said it would be 2 weeks to do the job. Finally got quote after a week and was told $1,300 and it would take additional week to complete. Decided to take it directly to Kia dealership and I'm thankful I did!! It wasn't what LKQ said it was and it will be ready next day! With a big total of $784.00. I saved money with rental car and saved me the hassle of dealing with someone who wasn't being honest. Don't do business with these people (the auto repair shop), I did business with them for 40 years With John wood and Christinna until the pandemic shut them down. They reopened with new management, I took my pickup truck with a service soon light on, replaced co2 sensor and reset the light charging me 212, dollars. the light came back on after only 112 miles, I took the truck back and they kept it one day and part of the next morning. They charged me an additional 240 dollars and resetting the light. The woman (in the office, Lilly or Billy is very rude and cranky and appears to spend a great bit of time outside cranking out cigarettes. read more

I don't recommend at all! I bought a rim from them through the phone, I payed up front . When I went to pick up the rim I went to their mechanic shop and was told I had a rim that doesn't match . Their mechanics were very nice and knowledgeable , they are the only reason I'm not giving them a 1 Star. I returned the rim and asked the guy in the parts department if I could get the correct one he said he couldn't look up ( I gave him the car model number rim size and even showed him a picture of it ) and seem like he wasn't willing to help at all. I went home and found the exact rim i needed on THEIR website in 5 minutes awful customer service!! I ended up ordering the rim from the website it has been 4 days and has not shipped I will never do business with company ever again!!! read more

Its ok to buy body parts or somthing similar, but purchasing an engine or trans. Better be careful. Even if you buy the warranty. The warranty info on the paperwork you get doesnt even have the fine print which is that they only cover the labor costs for a professional shop based off the book estimate of what they say it is. Not what the shop actually charges you. So, I paid 300.00 for a warranty. And they paid out 250 for a transmission install that cost 1000 in labor because there estimate book said it would only take 5hrs in labor to swap out a transmission... this was after the first one did not function correctly within the first 60 miles of the 12,000 mile warranty that had been purchased. The replacement they sent was also unknown internal condition and the warranty does not transfer over... so, in that case it is a scam. The team even had the audacity to tell me that my EVAP code for the downstream o2 sensor may be ausing the issue with the transmission slipping.... Definitely shady business and I wouldnt recommend dealing with them. For the time and money I could have gotten a certified remanufactured trans. (They also dont tell you that you have to pay for the shop to do all the work and they reimburse you based off of what they feel is the correct amount) buyers beware... read more

Had a problem with the O2 sensor in a 2010 Hyundai Sonata. Seems that the only solution was to bring it to a dealership in Ocala or elsewhere as none of the local repair shop would tackle it. LKQ service in Crystal River said they could do the job and they did! No problem since. Total bill was 219.00 Not bad. Bringing it to a dealership would have cost more for sure! Would trust this service center. read more

Called for a radio for a 20 year old SUV and was given a price of $55. When I went the next day to get it they charged $60, and it was in bad cosmetic shape. It did work, so I payed the $60. To nickle and dime a customer for $5 is stupid, especially when it was in rough shape. read more

We were having transmission problems and tried to find pricing for repair. When I called shops, I told them, "Worst case scenario is a new transmission, how much will you do that for?" Everyone wanted to play the tow-it-in-and-let's-see-what-it'll-cost-once-it's-here game except for LKQ and one other shop (and I called plenty). LKQ had the other shop beat on price by nearly a third. Service was top-notch, turn-around was fast, warranty is excellent, and no problems after nearly 6 months now. I was so happy with their service that I'm taking in my truck for front-end work with a quote of nearly half that of competitors. read more

Initially great customer service, answered my many questions regarding a transmission for a Nissan Sentra. Fast and efficient replies to emails. Then when I went ahead with the purchase and gave my credit card details and filled out authorization form, they turned around and told me the transmission was now unavailable as it was sold. Not happy and no way to do business :( read more
