Needless to say, there were plans, revised plans, and a lot of communication with us and the town, AND the insurance adjusters (we had 4 before the repair was completed). Marcello was steady throughout. We must have gone through at least 4-5 revisions and alternative ideas to find one the insurance company would agree to (my house is a balloon structure, meaning there are no supports in the middle of the house. This required posts to support the new hip rafter, and supports for the post on every floor, so Marcello was creative). He and his crew made sure the repair was sound, safe, and when he had to put a beam through my living room to support my house, he made sure it looked absolutely beautiful (and added another to balance it), AND as though it had been part of the house since the 1800's. However, we noticed that accessories, and appliance like the bathtup, towel racks, lighting fixtures were mostly their "idea". When they were done, there was quite a bit of cleanup that we had to bring to their attention like messy grout under the vanity which looked awful and paint causing the door to stick. There was also a lot of cleanup we had to do as there was dust all over even though they told us we did not have to move anything "out of the way". Fast forward to June, I contacted them due to several nails popping out of the "new" ceiling and they informed me that the warranty on their work had expired but as "courtesy" they would fix this item. Important to note here here is that the nails were popping out of the ceiling initially when they began the work and this was brought to their attention to which they responded that they would "take care of it". Initial issues included hot water coming out of "cold" water faucet; installation of a vanity which may have been damaged as it seems crooked as installed and the door - to this day - does not close properly. Technically, it was the wrong vanity to replace the old one as it's too high as well. Based on our experience, they do not work as collaboratively as they should with the owners. We depended on their guidance as supposed "experts in the field". I would not recommend them for bathroom remodeling.

He claimed to have a full team and promised timely, high-quality work. In reality, it was just two workers, and progress constantly stalled when he wasn't on-site. Over 12 weeks, our basement flooded twice, our sump pump was damaged and we were blamed, and our electrical panel was tripped by his equipment. His crew worked sporadically, sometimes not at all, and basic tasks like installing a toilet took months. He also pushed unnecessary upgrades, including replacing a functioning boiler and a kitchen window. The Pella window he recommended took months to install, arrived defective, and still isn't fixed. He verbally, and in his written contract, described a warranty that does not match Pella's written policy, and we've had an extremely difficult time getting support from them. Please see the attached pictures of the contract I signed with Mr. Angelis and the response from Pella windows regarding the warranty. Pella is quoting me $1619.38 for the repair, despite being promised a lifetime warranty by Mr. Angelis, which he promised was transferable and would include all mechanical and glazed parts. Mr. Angelis was paid $6,600 for this window. I posted a detailed review during the project outlining these issues. It appears that review and the name of the business was changed. I'm reposting this because nearly a year later, we are still dealing with the consequences of his work. Proceed with caution.
