Our experience with the company has led to significant financial and emotional hardship for our family. We hired LNS in towards the end of July 2021, initially, everything was going well. The demolition and installation of the sink and shower plumbing went quickly. Then the emergency calls started. Emergencies at other sites, personal emergencies and soon acts-of-god type situations started to happen. Soon, it was the end of August, September, October, November, December, January and February with no follow up work being done. Lots of "guarantee the work will get done, will be there tomorrow." We confirmed the dates and times, rearranged our work schedules (even at times other family gatherings or events) and were met with no shows. We were kind, thoughtful, understanding of the situations happening. We gave ample time for Lloyd to come by and continue the work. Communication was kept open but it was very one-sided where we initiated contact and was met with, "totally forgot about this or something came up." There were no other staff in this company that apparently could cover the work. My family shouldn't have to suffer because your life is falling apart. Run your company better, have backup plans for your clients if you are unable to get the work done. Or...refund the money paid when you break your own contract. The bathroom is for my mom because the other bathroom has a tub and not a shower. She's fallen twice in the tub since her bathroom's been under construction for so long. When we moved to get the work done by someone else, drywall had to be redone and the 3 piece shower installation taken out and reinstalled. Why? Mold resistant drywall was not used in the shower area and there was no backing in the installed shower pieces. We also found the the size of the vanity and the faucet bought were wrong sizes. It's a 150 sq. ft. bathroom. Additional out-of-pocket expenses: Medicine cabinet, new faucet, sink pipes/plumbing, window, mold resistant drywall, vanity lights. These items were all included in the original scope of service. We were left with a demolished bathroom and key pieces to the renovation (that were already paid for in full) missing. We are pursuing legal options and working on documentation. All this work is a hassle. We haven't been able to reach Lloyd to get the refund. We hired LNS to remove/dispose of a bathtub and install a tile shower with glass door and fixtures . Original estimate for the project was about 2 weeks and would start in October. The tile went in pretty quickly. When it came time to install the door the one ordered was found to be too big. About 6 weeks later the replacement came in broken. We asked since it will take time to get another if LNS would install fixtures so we could throw up a curtain and use it. Multiple times he said he would but would never show up to install them. We keep asking about the status of the door throughout January. He says it's not here yet. In February we go into home depot and ask them. They tell us it's been in since mid January. At this point we haven't been able to get a hold of LNS for a couple weeks, after multiple texts and voicemails. We send a letter of concern and report one of the credit card payments we made to them as fraud. Once this happened he came and finished everything, but the new door was too small. I order a door off wayfair that shows up in about 4 days and he installs it. After about 5 months the shower is finally done. He still owes us our garage door remote and a small refund that we have repeatedly asked for with no reply. In the end we got the beautiful shower we wanted. LNS workmanship is great but professionalism is very lacking. This installation should have been much faster and less stressful considering the multi-thousand dollars we paid. read more
