I live in Rural Sanpete County and I was feeling so much anxiety about how to safely transport my fragile elderly mother. She broke her femur, survived surgery and needed to be in the care of her family and loved ones. Loads of Love came highly recommend and I'm so grateful for their willingness to serve our area. Not trained a man almost fell. I went on a ride along with Moises who has only worked there 6 months. He has not been trained and does not even carry or use a gait belt. He was transferring a man that was over 200 pounds and put the wheelchair by his side and said there you go. He did not ask if the patient was steady on their feet or anything. The man stood and stumbled backwards almost falling. He did not speak to the man for most of the one hour transfer. He did say to me while the man was still in the van, I put my hand out for him but he did not grab it. The man could hear him. This is not how you transfer a patient safely. Their crew needs to get training in transferring safely and how to treat people. I would not recommend this business. read more
