I'm not really a baseball fan but came down tonight for a Savannah Bananas game. Parking is a hot mess, cops directing people up this street and down this other avenue, with the final result being you end up where you started and could have just gone in the first time. The logistics inside are just as convoluted. Take this escalator up to take a second escalator up but then walk down to a different section to find the elevator you need to take down. Prices are grotesquely overinflated. Staff was totally clueless about giving directions and the place was dirty. read more

Reviewing for a recent concert I attended at this park. As far as venues go for concerts and the stadium/park itself, it might be one of the worst laid out venues I've been to for anything. I haven't been here for a baseball game yet but can't imagine going through this in the FL heat. Came for the recent Chris Brown concert and the communication of both ticketmaster and the venue itself is pretty poor. There was some communication a few days before to make sure you had your "pre-paid parking receipt ready" but I never got any notifications for pre-paying parking. Day of the event came and the traffic was horrendous getting into the venue (as expected) and they had signage separating the pre-paid parking (which was said to be sold out on the sign) to overflow parking. By absolute luck, we finagled our way closer to the stadium and found parking just far enough to avoid traffic. Some of the residents that live in the area open up their houses for parking and so happy we found a good spot because it was not too far and it was so easy for us to get into the stadium and also SO EASY for us to leave. I wish I dropped a pin so we could find them again for any other times we come here. The parking for these places were $40 and I heard the pre-paid was already $50. Yes, definitely expensive and I would be upset paying that much and dealing with the headache of standstill traffic on the way out. With all this said, parking is really just luck here. Now for the actual experience at the venue. All staff helped with making sure you knew which places to go. Were they the most ideal gates to check into to get closer to your section? Absolutely not. But I get it since it's a huge venue and they're dealing with a million people asking them questions. Although the line was long to get inside, they were pretty efficient and we got in rather quickly. The venue itself is HUGE and it was a TON of walking. Shoutout to the girls in heels for this concert because even in shoes, I was struggling walking up ramps and getting lost along the way. When we finally reached out seats, we were in section 26, row 18 and I thought we had pretty good seats and view of the concert. For a concert venue, it was good in my experience but have heard pretty bad feedback from other sections including the floor seats. Not sure if this was a park issue or a layout of the actual concert issue but something worth noting. Getting out after the concert was also a bit rough but better for us since we parked on the outskirts. I didn't get to try any of the drinks or food because I wanted to save money on top of not wanting to wait in those lines. Please note: for bags they will send you to either the lockers or your car to put your bag away if it's too big so make sure you have the right size. Also, you're able to bring one closed and clear water bottle of your own (I think less than 20 oz) and I recommend this even just to make sure you have an option to hydrate before getting more drinks. Fans were also the accessory of choice for this concert with many girls having their handheld fans. I recommend but do want to note that there seemed to be some air conditioning inside. It was much cooler inside the park for the concert than it was outside walking to the car. Overall, an okay venue for concerts. I truly will only go here if it's someone worth seeing. read more

Super great venue for baseball but parking is an issue. The garages are a nightmare to get in and out of and the traffic is a nightmare. The food choices in the stadium are quite varied and there's almost everything available that you would want. The people who work there are friendly and all of the seats have a good view. I would probably come to a lot more games if it wasn't for the parking. read more

This review is based on the overall experience of me and the family attending a baseball game. This was my kids first time ever going to see a baseball game. And the stadium is pretty top notch as far as the feel of being there. If you know anything about South Florida in the summer time it's bound to rain on a random Sunday afternoon, which was the case this day. But the roof was on and the A/C was pipping which made it even more enjoyable. The seats we had were really good and honestly from what it looked like there's no bad seats anywhere in the stadium. Selection of food was decent as well from pizza to hot dogs to tacos to dipping dots, all were good. But the Marlins winning also added to the good experience. So will definitely do another game one day because my son really enjoyed himself there and was already asking to come back. read more

Great new stadium just went to the exhibition game Yankees vs Marlins and roof was closed nice change specially that it rained LOL (miami) I would say customer service was great no issues but then again not that many people, we sat near the bullpen and it was nice layout of the park, overall great experience for my first time - souvenir beer was a bit steep $18 but guess is a ballpark. Had combo chicken tenders and fries to snack on $14 each not so bad. Thanks guys would like to be able to walk around near the dugout to try and get closer photos of players but you cant go down there if you dont have tickets, kinda defeats the purpose but guess need to get those tickets next! Just went here yesterday to see the Yankees put on a breathtaking 2 hit performance against the Marlins. The stadium is verg nice, big, climate controlled too, which is a plus. We had seats on the 3rd base line and had a great time, other than the Yanks stinking up the joint. There were quite a few food options, typical stadium fare, and the pricing was predictably high. Now for the horror show that is logistics at Loan Depot Park. We had a 50 minute ride to get to the park, according to GPS. So we left at 230 pm for a 410pm game. However, it took us 2 hrs 30 mins to drive there and get into our prepaid parking spot and we only got to our seats at the top of the 4th inning. The entire process was a debacle. Once we jumped off the highway we were in standstill traffic for well over an hour. There was absolutely zero police presence facilitating traffic flow as we inched toward the park, leading to insane gridlock and utter chaos. There were even barricades blocking access to the garages. How exactly are people with prepaid parking supposed to get in? When we finally got near the garage, I had to flag down a parking attendant out the window just to avoid being forced past the entrance by the flow of traffic. If I hadn't caught his attention, I would've been pushed right by the garage despite already paying for parking. Once we got in and parked, we had to go through security which was understaffed and beyond incompetent. They had 2 people working the single metal detector and hundreds of people in line. It was so slow! They told me to empty my pockets before going through the detector, so I did. But just as I tried to walk through they said "take your keys and phone with you" which of course set it off. Why not just leave my stuff in the basket so you could see I had no other items? Then I was told to put the items in another table and to try to go through again, but it still went off. Third try, still with nothing in my pockets, finally no beeps, and I got through. Total clown show. Oh and leaving the park was nearly as bad as entering. We left at the end of the 8th with the stadium still somewhat full. But despite this, we got stuck driving out of the lot for a good 45 minutes, inching forward from the top level as pedestrians clogged the road and cars tried to back out into the flow of traffic. Zero staff helping inside manage things inside the garage, zero cops on the street managing traffic. Nightmare. Anyway, not a bad park at all, but I would really have to think twice before coming here again. The traffic and parking was a huge waste of time and super inconvenient. read more

Came here to catch a game of Savannah Bananas! The park was clean, easy to navigate, staff were friendly, and a lovely addition of being indoors. The lines were long, but what ball game doesn't have long food lines. Almost all food places had also an option to self order at a kiosk to speed up the process. Happy to be able to visit! read more

Attended a game while in Miami for a work conference ! The area leading up to the facility is a bit sketchy. We Ubered . The directions for rideshare drop off and pick up was pretty clear. Going into the facility through security went rather smooth. The inside of the dome was way better than RAys stadium . They have a retractable roof. This place also had beer & food specials. I had a great time at a Marlins v. Mets game at the loanDepot park a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't ask for more. I had premium seats, the weather was beautiful, the game had its exciting moments, the service to order food/beverages is pretty straightforward and convenient where you don't have to get up and order, it's done through a QR code and they bring it to your seat. The check in process was smooth too. All in all, it was a nice experience and will return to more baseball games for sure. read more

My gripe is with SECURITY !!! They are very INCONSISTENT checking the size of people's bags and the girl in front of me got let in and her bag was way bigger than mine. When it was my turn they wouldn't let me in with a Fanny pack they said no to me. The only thing inside my fanny pack was a small wallet and lipstick. I swear they were Judy being mean because they can. They make you walk back to your car to put bag in the car. They say clear bags only but there was an adult man in there with a big backpack and no kids! They need to do a better job and stop playing games!! Be consistent! Also I recommend to eat before you come! The food here sucks too. Unless you like cafeteria food. I've been to many ballparks and normally the food is good but not in Miami loan park. After 12 years of wanting to go to a Marlins game here, I finally made it 9/22/2024. It was an awesome experience. Parking is easy. You pay on the app and it is $30. We parked on the 4th floor in the garage right near the entrance. We got tickets at the box office and entering the stadium was a breeze. It was well air conditioned. Now I had heard there was awesome food choices. I have to somewhat disagree. I wanted "Miami's Best Pizza". But looking at it was disappointing. There was hardly any sauce on it. They had Asian food but I wasn't craving that. I ended up with chicken strips and fries. This was ok. It was not bad but not fantastic. He got a hot dog and was sick from it later on. (Told him not to get it. It did not look good) Anyway, our Pepsis were off. They did not have enough carbonation. I got a rum and coke and later on we each got a Corona. With tip and tax the two Coronas were $38. Just mind blowing. Anyway, our seats were good. We saw the game well and it was very festive. I am annoyed it took me all this time to get here but glad we made it to the last home game of the season. I highly recommend coming here for a game. And no, baseball is not boring for all you football fans. :) It is fun to watch. read more

18th MLB stadium. There are no bars or anything in the area around the stadium. We went to two games. It would be nice to go when the roof is open early in the season. They do digital first time visitor certificates. We had a good experience our first game, the second game we had a terrible fan in a few rows in front of us, he was a local but gambling for Miami to loose, he was being soo loud and arrogant, even offering people including children money to root along with him. We complained about him to stewards, security, police officers - no one did anything about him. We had great tickets just behind the visitors dugout - even the players told him to shut up , we ended up moving seats as he was soo annoying - not a great experience. Can see why Miami doesn't have a great fan base. Not in a rush to come back to this stadium. read more

We were in Miami for the weekend and decided to go to a baseball game. We never come to the city in the summertime so we thought it would be a unique experience. The first thing I noticed was how out of the way it was. It is nowhere near the trains or the downtown area. We had to take a local bus to reach there. It dropped us off in the parking lot and we had to walk to the stadium. They were playing the Phillies today. There were several more Phillies fans than Marlins fans. We came in on time and was able to find our seats in the upper deck. I was excited about picking up some of the baseball snacks. They had a $3 dollar menu for local favorites such as hot dogs, popcorns, soda, and beer. I was able to pick up a full meal for only $12 which was great. Surprisingly the lower sections were all empty. I was able to go down and find a better seat easily. This is probably the closest to the field I have been in any stadium. For some reason there don't seem to be many baseball fans in the city. The Marlins surprisingly ended up winning the game by an upset. Everyone was shocked because they have a large losing streak. Afterwards we walked out the stadium and made it to the bus stop. From there we boarded the bus and went on our way home. It was a unique experience to go to a Marlins game but not exciting enough for us to return for another one. read more

I visited this stadium since it opened. I attended a Mets vs Marlins game at the old stadium only once. When this one was built and opened, it was a totally different experience. They did a good job but for me, it's a little over the top for baseball games. There is a lot to see and it is very stimulating. The first thing that threw me off was where the stadium was placed. I guess you have to see it for yourself but the best way to describe it is that they demolished some houses or found a field and decided to build a stadium. You can literally cross the street and houses are there! The cool thing though is the residences open their driveways for parking for a fee, which can be cheaper than parking in the garages. I must say the stadium is massive and there is a lot of seating. I have sat in many levels and sections throughout the years. We also went to Bark at the Park a couple years and although it was so much fun, it was so damn hot. I did not want my dog to overheat so we stopped going. If they did those events in October or April, that would be a lot better. Although the stadium had the overhead roof not opened, it can get really hot hiking up to the nose bleed section! They also have theme nights and other events throughout the year. There are plenty of concessions on each level to quench your thirst or satisfy your hunger. Of course everything is overpriced but hey, why not indulge! I have seen a variety of snacks and foods to choose from. Hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn, chicken fingers, nachos, etc. are definitely offered. There is also soda, water, beer, wine, and alcohol served but not at every stand. I will say, I do not recall seeing many shopping options. If you want to purchase a specific Marlins item, you may have to search in different locations. I think my favorite aspect of coming to Marlins games is the entertainment in between innings. I have seen people dressed in like mascot costumes racing around the field and I never witnessed that at any games back home lol. There is a Clevelander bar/club on the main level but I have not visited. I have had a good time every time I come here for a game. read more

Background Attended Sunday afternoon game in August. Sat in lower deck, first-base side facing pitchers mound. Fish played the Pads, ran away early with the lead and then narrowly avoided being reeled in, winning 7-6. Stadium Located in Little Havana so auto (or Uber) transport is a must. The stadium is still quite dark even with the glass wall and a day game. Besides the view of downtown the field is non-descriptive. What happened to the giant outfield statue? Ownership moved it outdoors last year - what a shame. Diverse crowd which we enjoyed. Signs and audio are bilingual. Great seats were easy to purchase and (relatively) inexpensive. As with all new parks, viewing is excellent from virtually everywhere. Was fun watching the game briefly from the centerfield walkway. Food Hot dog was foiled by a dry bun (plus my wife dropped hers before even tasting it, a double doggy downer day). Great food options including bao, seafood, cheesesteaks, a test kitchen (!) and, of course, Cuban sandwiches. What's Unusual The stadium has.a retractable roof but rarely uses it. I understand that only two or three games per year are open air. Understandable for Miami weather, yet for me, disappointing. read more

Oh man what a night! Came here for the DR and PR game and the place was Lit AF! We parked down the street for $30 and walked. Now for the games everyone gets checked so only small purses were allowed or clear bags ( don't get turned away). After being ticket checked we made our way to our seats. The place was packed and the crowd was hype. There are people assisting correct location and seating areas just in case. I saw alot of people confused but no worries, it's a quick fix. Also, If you need something to munch or drink on just scan the QR sticker on the seat in front of you and they will deliver quicker than you think. Everything is hassle free just have patience and it's all good. read more

It was a nice park. As cookie-cutters go it had appealing aesthetics. They captured the city skyline nicely. The concourse was nicely laid out. The park itself was accessible. Note: They have a nice ride share setup, but as of April 2025 I would suggest using Uber. Ubers app properly routes drivers to the pickup location. Lyft isn't properly helping drivers navigate the planned blocked roads. I did contact Lyft support to advise them of the problem. read more

Not impressed at all. I was staying in Miami Beach and went to a Marlins game, the second game of the 2024 season. There is nothing immediately around the park to frequent (other than Wendy's or Subway). Parking is extremely easy, and nearby (if desired ). Bobblehead Museum in centerfield is amusing. Nothing exceptional about the concessions inside the park, or the ballpark itself. Roof was open during my visit which certainly helped the experience. We utilized Uber/Lyft which was very reasonable price wise and made things easier. I'm in no urge to return to this ballpark. It's pretty forgettable. At least the area around the ballpark seemed safe. Employees were friendly as well. I've been to over 25 MLB Ballparks and Loandepot is very unremarkable. read more

Yesterday was Girl's Day at the Ballpark! So, a group of us went to watch the Miami Marlins v New York Yankees. The Marlins won!! This is a really nice stadium, clean, and new with fairly comfy seats and a roof in case of a Miami storm. Yesterday, there were a lot of fans out to see the Yankees, so it was packed at all the little restaurants. There are long lines everywhere, but that's a part of the experience. We ate at Recess, which replaced the Clevelander a while back. The food was just ok and was expensive for what you got. We parked at a relative's nearby house and walked a couple of blocks. The neighbors all had signs up saying Park Here $30 and up. Good luck finding a parking space. We had a nice day at the Ballpark, though! read more

Take me out to the ball game! No seriously, take me out. We did the $25 Taco Tuesday deal. That included your ticket, 2 tacos & a drink (beer or soda). I honestly thought it would be 2 small tacos but it ended up being a really great deal. The pork was a little cold due to the tacos being premade but they were really good tacos had lots of flavor and were overall delicious. My beer of choice was the "Marlins Lager" it tastes like a Blue Moon just a tad bitter but was really delicious. For a Tuesday it wasn't too busy. We went thru security pretty quickly, I had a clear bag so check in was pretty quick. You can pay $20 beforehand for parking or pay there (it's quicker if you pay before you go so you don't spend more time trying to pay) Our seats were right in the middle of the plates & outer field which was great to be able to see the whole game and baseballs reached our area and the free T-shirt's they throw around. Definitely a great time to enjoy with friends or family. They also have a lot of different places to eat from but we ended up getting more beer and peanuts. Would recommend to visit. Usually since it's hot, the roof is closed and the a/c makes it a pleasure to watch the Marlins do their thing! I haven't heard great things about the Miami Marlins home stadium, now known as LoanDepot Park. I'm not sure if that's because their attendance isn't usually that great - and so the stadium feels lacking - or if it's just that when you stack LoanDepot Park against some of the other major league stadiums then it can feel a bit "meh". That said, I had a fine time watching the Padres @ Marlins game that I attended at LoanDepot Park... even though it was Education Day... with the roof closed... and all the little kids in attendance had been given those "thundersticks" (or whatever they're called) . You know the ones? Yeah, the ones that reverberate through THE ENTIRE STADIUM any time the kids got excited about something. Anyway, I attended the game with a friend who gave me a thorough tour of the different areas of the park, including The Clevelander Bar (pool and club) and the Bobblehead Museum display. I wouldn't necessarily say there's a ton to see in the stadium that gives it personality (and that huge homerun fountain was in storage, I believe), but it's a ballpark... and what's not to love about that? As far as concessions go, they had removed a couple a places I had heard about and wanted to try (removed during the offseason, unfortunately). I ended up finding a concession stand that sold Cuban sandwiches and plantain chips, which was fine. I'd love to try something else interesting at the stadium though if I ever went back. When it comes to seats, my friend and I were fortunate that a mutual friend - and season ticket holder - had given us his tickets for the game (since it was a day game and he was working). They happened to be just a couple rows behind the visitor dugout, which was fun. The security guard working behind home plate also grabbed a ball for me during the game (Manny Machado fly out) and handed it to me in my seat, which totally made my day. TL;DR I feel like I had a special experience because of who I went to the game with and friends who took care of a lot of the details (and wanted to make my experience special). I also probably left with only half my hearing intact, but hey... I still had half left. I wish the stadium had a bit more personality to help differentiate it and really celebrate Miami/the local culture (including with their concessions), but it's a nice stadium and I'd go back for another game or so. read more

This is a nice ballpark, never have to worry about inclement weather. One of the most affordable places to get tickets to a MLB game with a team that is competitive and fun to watch. The lines to purchase food and beverages also move fast however bring your credit cards because they don't accept cash. The the temperature is always comfortable, also good views from almost anywhere you sit. There's also a nice view of the Miami skyline. This is a nice place to go to for multiple events. read more
