This is the dumbest indoor playground setup I have ever visited. They divide children by height, which is understandable, but then they place the different zones next to each other, causing absolute chaos if you have more than one child. The areas accessible to smaller kids should be in a completely separate area! Fewer tantrums and disappointment for littles. I saw nothing but upset children crying. Siblings upset. The employees are all disgruntled teenagers or constantly chatting with each other. It's expensive and not worth your while IMO. Go elsewhere. read more

I had been to the dezerland in Orlando before so wanted to check this one out during a recent work trip in Miami. The one in Orlando has the auto mall and I think some of them used to be here so there were a couple cars still around, which was cool. The place is very big, with two separate buildings and lots of activities inside. Definitely a good place for children with all the activities but they do have a bar and a huge arcade so we were able to keep ourselves busy. read more

In my opinion this is a hidden gem. This is a surviving adventure park that is indoors. This is better than dave and busters and many others. It truly gives me the nostalgia of when i grew up and going to grand prix. They have so many things to do. They have virtual reality, go karting for multiple ages, pool, arcade, younger arcade, individual rooms for rent, trampoline park, full indoor eating space and they even do a barcade and you can win prices with the tickets. We booked the Ultimate Celebration birthday package at Dezerland Park in Miami, and the experience was extremely deceptive and unethical. We were charged $69.99 per child for several small siblings, ages four, five, and six, even though they could only use the trampoline portion of the package (almost $600 for kids who couldn't use the main attraction of go-karting). Before the event, a staff member reassured me that in these cases the additional children would be charged per activity, with clear prices provided. Instead, we were billed the full package rate for these younger siblings. Had we known this policy beforehand, we would have planned the event differently. The staff held the arcade cards until we paid, putting us under pressure to complete the payment while a group of excited kids stood waiting. This made it impossible to review or question the charges in real time. Service quality was also far below expectations. The food arrived more than thirty minutes late, and even the water came forty-five minutes after the scheduled time, leaving thirsty kids and parents waiting. When it finally arrived, the water tasted like sewer water--gross! The event coordinator was absent when needed, several systems were not working, and the staff seemed like a bunch of kids with zero enthusiasm. This is not just about a misunderstanding. It is about integrity and reasonable judgment. A company that caters to families should not charge full price for services it cannot provide, should not mislead clients with verbal agreements, and should not use sleazy strategies to pressure parents into paying more than the fair amount. Just because something is technically legal does not make it right. It is clear that the owner is only in it for the money and has no values or integrity whatsoever, which is very sad for a family-oriented business. Parents, BE AWARE. I highly recommend finding another place to celebrate if you want to avoid an unpleasant experience and end up paying 40% more than expected. read more

I'm very disappointed with my experience booking the "Ultimate Celebration Package." I was charged differently from what your website and your staff clearly explained at booking. Management dismissed our evidence and refused to correct the overcharge. During the exchange they said they were "fine" with us filing a dispute, which -- combined with their response -- makes it seem like this is a recurring issue. I provided invoices and screenshots showing what was promised. Because the charge remains unresolved I have filed a formal dispute with my credit card company. I want to thank Dezerland Action Park. I took my grandchildren there on September 23 of this year for my granddaughter's birthday. There was bad weather and lightning knocked the power out while we were there, and when I spoke to the manager, Elijah, he told me to come back and they would honor everything we purchased. Fast forward to today, and the manager, Max, who was there, did just that and honored everything we purchased back in September. Careful when you arrive that they don't leave you waiting for over an hour stating that the birthday party you came to has not begun. I went up to the counter twice and even showed the birthday invite and I was still misinformed by 2 employees. I suggest you don't do birthdays there. Your guests will never arrive to the correct party room. The employees will send your guests to the wrong location or even have them sitting there over an hour when the party has already started. The customer service is lacking and the employees do not have empathy for children. Choose a different place to have your party! read more

We were really impressed with this place and surprised for the bad rep it has. All the games in the arcade were new and fun. My daughter enjoyed the toddler play area which the attendant made sure no older kids were there and it was safe for her. Overall the park is huge and so much to do! I want to update my reading after being here for an entire hour. There is literally no supervision from employees. My teenagers that are 6 foot we're jumping on a square on the trampoline and then there's five-year-olds playing tag running right in front of them, and behind them all around them in their square Which can cause serious injury to somebody. We have a park like this in my town and they're very strict about making sure one persons in the Square at a time and there's no running through the squares as people are jumping. Especially when you're putting 130 pound teenager with a five-year-old that may only weigh 50 pounds or so The staff here is wonderful. Very nice people. The kids seem to have a great time. However, I couldn't stand all the perfume or scented smell that they have in this building. I have older children so I decided to go stand outside since it had stopped raining and the bleach smell outside was terrible too. I was surprised to smell so much bleach since it just rain. The other disappointing thing was there was very little to no rules or something people say. Little children running into other peoples squares a circulating jumps, etc. can be dangerous. Little kids that are just running all over instead of jumping in their Square, and no one telling them not to. Although the staff is very friendly and nice, and you check in the staff that supposed to be watching what's going on inside episodes is chatting with friends instead. If I was basing this facility just on the indoor activities then it would be five star but if I was basing it on smells and cleanliness, then it would be a three star. read more

We went in a group of 5 and purchased the 3-ride kart package. It came in at $411 total. You'd think for that price you'd get at least average customer service, gokarts that are in working order, etc. But no. The staff didn't even bother to put our names in the racing results screen even though we asked how to know who won and were clearly disappointed that nobody could be bothered. One kart had an issue with the seat that caused it to move back when you stepped on the gas. Also, another party joined us for the third ride and staff slowed the speed down significantly. It was like granny taking a Sunday drive with zero adrenaline at that point. Also, some basic hospitality training is sorely needed. A staff member was rude when I tried to join my son and his stepdad where they were putting helmets on (we were all waiting to race, so not sure why half our party was allowed in the locker/helmets area and half wasn't)? Regardless it was pretty unnecessary for him to loudly escalate to "you need me to bring in my manager?" and then complain right in front of me to another staff about how "people be grown adults and don't listen". I literally had just asked to join my 8-year-old while we all waited and asked for clarification when his explanation didn't make sense. We live 10 minutes from Dezerland, but won't be back. There are plenty of better ways to spend $400 than on bad attitudes and broken equipment. read more

$40 gets you 2 hours of trampolines and nothing else. Came here last year and they had more attractions like a kids 3 story jungle gym that has been taken down and now it's just the old trampolines. I took my 2 and 5 year old grandchildren, spent over $200 for the various activities. I entered the toddler area there were 4 adults and 8 or more teens running around jumping over everything hitting each other with cube pillows. There was zero staff around to see the how out of control these people were. I had told a few of them that they shouldn't be in the area and they began cursing at me. They nearly knocked over my 2 year old granddaughter twice. The one teenager hit threw the cube at my head. I went for staff when I entered back with staff into the toddler area again the teenager threw the pillow at my daughter while holding my 2-year-old granddaughter. The group of people were surrounding my daughter screaming, yelling and cursing at her while she's holding my 2 year old granddaughter. My 5-year-old grandson was crying in fear. After an hour of total out of control unbelievable mayhem the police were called and in the end we were told to leave without being refunded. We literally were there less than 20 minutes spent over $200 when these people were regulars at Dezerland. We were on vacation from out of town. It's interesting how at first the staff was all apologetic knowing all well that there should have been a staff member in the toddler area. We went on Monday as based off their website they were open M-Thursday at 2pm. We got there and they were closed and said they would be open on Wednesday. Just went on their website to double-check their hours again today (Wednesday) and now they're saying they're not open until Friday at 1pm. We bought a Groupon for this place but now we're limited on when we are able to use it due to their weird hours of operating. Don't waste your time. I regret purchasing the Groupon for this place. When arrived there was no one there to help so the cleaning lady sent across the street to the cart place to get the tickets so we weren't even allowed to see the place Inside before making our decisions in the packages options. Options make no sense.... Only one attraction for about $20 after taxes per kid for 1hr OR all 4 attraction (trampolines, rope course, ninja obstacle course, rock wall puse a virtual reality game) for about $40 for 1 hour PER KID !! Yeah right the kids are going to do all that in only one hour OR option two is to get kicked out at the hour time without doing something we paid for....either option equals disappointed kids. We purchased the ninja course and they were over it within 7 minutes and not allowed in any other place. Ninja course is very small. We spoke with the staff and one of the staff member basically blamed our kids for not being able to do it, but fortunately the manager who was great allowed us to change our ticket from the ninja course to rope corse with was much more age appropriate for a 7 and 11 year old. I wish we could have made an educated choice from the beginning. The tables were sticky and WiFi nonexistent. Why two stars? Because it has potential. They just need to have more options that actually make sense. I wouldn't take my kids back if it stays the same. Update. Yup. Don't listen to the old reviews! We pulled into the parking lot and was a little nervous because it wasn't packed during spring break, and then saw some bad reviews. In reality, this place was awesome! Every single game worked. Everything was clean and new looking. The staff was friendly and helpful. We could have spent the whole day here! My boys (8 and 10) love trampoline parks and arcade places and this was one of the nicest ones we have been to. The Virtual Reality alone was worth every penny. Highly recommend! read more

What a fantastic place this is! Knew I was visiting Florida this winter and have been ninja training for 6 months now thanks to the Elite event I attended at Arizona on the Rocks! When I began this journey into fitness I had no intentions of doing ninja training. Just thought I'd be lifting weights like everyone else. Although that will make you "look fit" it's far from adequate preparation for ninja! In still a beginner and didn't expect I would be able to do most of the obstacles here. Well..I was right. I couldn't do them all...but I could do most! The staff was fantastic explaining techniques I would need to implement in order to tackle the course. I started with the salmon ladder. To be honest I didn't like it because it was attached to a string on both sides with counter weights. Those weights were hanging at different heights and actually caused the bar to tip each time I tried. That led to a nasty pinch between my thumb and index finger. Others experienced the same thing as I did...needed a band aid. The gym I'm used to simply has a bar and it's much easier to use although you do risk the bar falling on you but hey that's all part of the game! Never saw anyone get pinched with that setup so just beware... The monkey bar setup in the back was awesome! Made it all the way across and it took everything I had to do it! Never saw such a large setup before! My favorite obsticle was the unstable bridge. You grip the sides of boards hanging on chains and have to fly 4 ft to the next. Flying is my favorite aspect of this sport. It was great and it made me feel good that I was able to do it and it was because of skill even more than strength. There was a group of crossfit 'monsters' there and although they were all stronger than I am none could do it! Skills are more important than strength so don't be afraid to ask about proper technique! They had so many obsticles I can't name them all but there's definitely something for all levels of aspiring ninjas! Practice pullups and 1 arm hangs to get the minimum strength required to play successfully and just enjoy finding your own limitations then break right through to a personal best! The ninja course was $17 adult but remember 10% off 1st visit with Yelp checkins! Enjoy, be safe and never give up! read more

Pretty rough start with my experience here but it got much better after we got started with the (adult) obstacles! We went on a Saturday afternoon. Parking was atrocious (and it rained later that evening too so do expect heavy flooding -- you may have to "swim" to get to your car)! It was extremely packed once we got inside. The wait took much longer because we had to fill out the waivers that basically say they're not responsible for any injuries and we cannot sue them. Just know they'll need your driver's license number too on those forms. So after a good 20+ minutes, we finally got to purchase our packages. We got the Samurai Warrior combo ($44.50 for all attractions) and took advantage of the group discounts (got BOGO 50%/B2G1 Free deals -- the latter was useful for our odd group of 9). They allowed us to split costs evenly so that's a good thing. They distributed our color-coded wristbands with the expiration time. Soooo after some time, we FINALLY got to step foot into the arena of obstacles. We started out at the ninja warrior station, which is simulated to look and feel the same as the American Ninja Warrior stage. A lot of it required upper body strength, and it was quite the challenge because I exercised my arms and back the evening before so I was already a bit sore to begin with. Nonetheless, I was able to do some of the obstacles, and there were few I had to skip because I physically was unable to. Despite that, I was still able to enjoy it without the pressure of a live audience like on the show! We moved on to the other obstacles like the wall jump (3 various versions). And the rope course was a lot of fun too (no worries if you fall -- there are safety nets)! Lastly we went jumping on the trampoline arena and got some major air! The only thing we missed out on was dodgeball because there were sooooo many parties in line for that so we just ended our day there hanging out by the monkeybars and parkour pads to learn how to breakdance (thanks for teaching us the basics, Kevikevz!). All in all, it was loads of fun -- basically a pricy, yet enjoyable way to gym hehe. But do expect soreness the next couple of days! Some of my friends sustained some minor injuries so do be careful and don't force your body to do something it can't! Also, PACK LIGHT. With the assumption it's like a gym, we all brought our gym bags, but we had a hard time finding a safe place to put them. Yes, you may rent out lockers, but they are small. I'd pack light (wallet and phone) and just rent out one locker if you're in a group. Will you be the next American Ninja Warrior?? Haha. Game on! read more

This place is amazing! Very clean.. and all the equipment is well kept and maintained. The staff is friendly and very helpful in giving proper techniques for tackling the various obstacles. I went with a group of guys for a birthday. Most of us are active types so we loved it (even the sedentary one in the group had a great time). The space is just next to the Dezer collection and isn't easily seen but with very little effort you will find it. By the end we all were talking about returning and doing it again! They feature a 3 level warped wall, various rock climbing challenges, a trampoline section, a parkour training area, a track for tumbling, two American ninja warrior obstacle courses that they change from time to time, and much more. TIPS: -Bring water, you will definitely need it -best sneakers are minimal sneakers, vibrams, free runners, or the reebok crossfit line of shoes -if you don't wear gloves, use chalk or wrap your hands with athletic tape.. (our hands were killing us at the end) -Stretch before you start to prevent injury... you want to be nice and warmed up -I suggest to just go for the hour as oppose to two hours... we found that an hour was just right. read more

The parking was psychotic and I mean psychotic. If there was a war for parking, you've found the place. There was hardly any parking and if there was a space, it was probably drowning in water from the rain. But, there was also a competition going on that same day. No big deal though, we were just happy to have found parking. The atmosphere was lively, I'll tell you that. Fun and lively. We could hear the chatter from the obstacle room and it got me a little excited. My family is full of athletic enthusiasts and we love trying out obstacles courses and races and all that stuff, so we were beyond excited for this. At the same time, we were mindful because there are kids also running around the area and we didn't want to cause an accident anywhere. Service was great when we went. The two workers that checked us in and all that were helpful and friendly, even cracked a few jokes and laughed at our poorly said jokes. I would like to point out that even if you're just spectating, you have to fill out a waiver. When we got to the place, we weren't aware of that either until we heard it from one of the workers. Luckily, with technology these days, you can fill out a waiver on your phone and you're good to go. No need for the computers unless you're told otherwise. Spectators also get a wristband, so no need to be running in and out and all around. My family felt like we had found the utopia of field days. We were all over these obstacles. Let me tell you, it is a workout. I went two days ago and my arms are killing me. We attempted every obstacle, including the crazy cool wrapped wall. I don't know how the competitors on Ninja Warrior do it, but I was dying. The coaches on site were also very helpful and offered advice and even moved equipment for us. Personally, I think it was to laugh at us making some epic fails. It was fun, granted, there was a section cut off for the competitors but even that was fun to watch. They were doing tricks and flips over jungle gyms. Since we only had two hours, we spent one hour where the obstacle courses were then went upstairs to the VR floor. Please note, the Groupon only let's you pick one out of two preset choices. A theater or a VR sport experience. We didn't feel like waiting the 15 minutes for the theater, so we did the sport experience. A majority of us did skiing which felt too realistic. Whenever I hit a tree, I thought I actually hit something. The one person who did something different did wind gliding. That also looked like fun. My family would love to come here again, it was like an adult playground with a section for kids to play at. I just want to note that everyone has to kill out a waiver. Doesn't matter the age, a waiver has to be signed. While we were at the place, we saw a lot of people complaining about signing the waiver and having to get back in line. If you wasn't to avoid that hassle, sign the waiver online. It updates in their system and you're good to go. read more

I would leave negative stars if I could... if you're above the age of 12/13 DO NOT come here... you're looked at weirdly by all the parents of the children like you shouldn't be there, and the employees don't say anything about it mostly being kids. Also the building is only about 2% trampolines and it's extremely overpriced (about $32 for one hour, but it was so horrible I only stayed for about 15 minutes). The only good part about the whole business is the front desk employee's were friendly. We drove 2.5 hours to come Visit this place on Fathers Day, Sunday, June 17. We Experienced the Worst Customer Experience from one of their front desk associates named Quincey (small girl with the glasses). You should NEVER have an untrained, unprofessional person working the front counter where they would be the FACE of the business. This employee's attitude was distasteful, appalling and down right disgusting. Standing in line waiting to pay, you can overhear how rude and abrasive she was talking to all the customers that were paying. Finally, as we get to the front of the line, after waiting about 10 minutes we are told to fill out a waiver. SUGGESTION: have someone at the door directing people to do that before getting in line. Especially on days when you're busy (increase productivity) Expecting customers to read the thousands of signs is just inefficient. We then had to come out of line to fill the waiver and had stand back in the back of the line again. When we get back up she charge my brother (who is a dad; according to all the advertisements dads get to play for free) for entry as well as my 3-year old nephew. After my brother pays for his entry and my nephew it was time to put on the bracelet she tells us immediately that my nephew cannot do the trampoline and that he has to do soft play only. She didn't see him when my brother paid. But since my brother already paid, she immediately tells him that there are no refunds! And her suggestion was to give credits for the arcade. I I felt that was bogus. Why wouldn't a refund be necessary? We are still at the counter. She states to me that the "no refund signs are everywhere". She then turns to me with an attitude about How she can get a refund but it will take longer. The problem with this is that you initially told us that there were no refunds and you directing me, the paying customer to read all the signs when YOU, as the business associate failed to validate the size of the child. Fortunately, the other employees were very helpful and accommodating and really tried to recover the situation. But the whole entire experience was just awful. No matter how nasty her attitude was it seemed as though no one wanted to deal with her. I just hope someone who cares about this company reads this review and actually does something about it. read more
