Timely and free delivery of fresh in-season produce. We got green beans, cucumbers, yellow squash, radishes, and green onions. Also ordered an extra: Muffuletta Mix (from "Olive My Pickle"). All absolutely delicious! Nothing beats local "farm to door" fresh and clean produce. Excellent service and well worth it! Various sized packages available and you can order other products as well. We started with the "basic" and were quite impressed! We cooked the green beans and sliced the others to use for our weekly meals. Highly recommend...Look them up! We found them on FB. I saw an ad on Facebook for this company and they were running a promotion, and I made an impulse buy, and I'm so glad I did! I ordered the basic bag since I'm just one person which was $27. Don't forget to add a tip for the driver! It came with 3 (giant) oranges, 4 zucchini, 4 red tomatoes, a head of cauliflower, and a loaf of ciabatta bread from the French Pantry! Everything came nicely packed and clean. I have a confusing package system at my apartment but the driver didn't seem to run into any issues and it was delivered on time. I went to Publix and bought everything that came in the bag to do a price comparison (ya know, for science). I purchased the basic non organic items. Funnily enough, it came out to exactly $27! I would MUCH rather shop local and organically for the same price. What a fantastic and brilliant service. This is convenient to say the least. The problem I am having now is that the some of food goes bad after a couple days. In the beginning it would last about a week which was enough time to use it up. The fresh food is good and a joy to eat. But having to cut a half a tomato off or remove half of the green beans due to black spots after 2 days is not what I was getting before. The coffee is excellent along with the sauces in the store. The beef and pork is really good as long as it isn't processed into sausage or hamburgers. they seem to have an extreme amount of salt on them. So much so I threw the last two packs in the garbage. It is all suppose to be local farm grown veggies but I have encountered cucumbers and apples with wax on them. Not something I would expect from fresh produce, maybe I'm wrong on this but it dulls the favor. The delivery is on schedule for the delivery day appointed to you. People from there are friendly and courteous. So you will have to make the decision if it is worth it for your family. read more

I've been ordering Local Fare Jax since Covid hit in 2020. The service is excellent and their delivery people are always pleasant and professional. I have recommended this service to several of my friends in the community as well. The vegetables are fresh and local. I have a standing order for a dozen eggs each week. Their website is very easy to navigate and you can choose what you want from a good selection of produce and fruit. There is a fresh bread option too but we just get all produce. I have ordered bagels, muffins and specialty breads when we have company or a special occasion. I also order from the grocery section. There is a great selection of honey, canned items, jams, soaps and so much more! The hot pickled okra is a favorite! I also order a lot of hostess gifts from Local Fare Jax! I really can't love this service more. They are always pleasant to speak with when you need adjustments and the quality of veggies is really great! The prices are comparable to organic stuff at Publix and you can't beat the convenience of it being dropped at your doorstep. We've been with them for years now and have never had any complaints. Our neighbor introduced us to Local Fare Jax, a local produce delivery service, which has been a great solution to our struggle of finding fresh local fruits and vegetables in our area. We opted for the Rancher XL and Standard boxes, which contain meat and vegetables with bread, respectively, and receive them twice a month. While we have tried CSA's in the past, we have had mixed experiences with some vegetables being excessively dirty and infested with bugs or worms, and the meat having an off taste. Having previously purchased whole cows and gotten pigs and chickens from farms, we have a good understanding of what fresh food should taste like. However, with Local Fare Jax, we have been continuously impressed with the exceptional quality of both the meat and produce. We have never been disappointed with anything we have received, and everything has been unbelievably fresh and delicious. We wholeheartedly recommend Local Fare Jax to everyone. Their delivery personnel are easy to work with, and the app and text communication features are excellent, enabling us to track the delivery truck's distance from our house and receive timely reminders. the produce has been not so good. Roma tomatoes that were green inside for over 2 weeks sitting on the counter, trashed. corn with worms, trashed, bad cucumbers, trash, bad yellow squash when cut open, trash, when I called local fare to get it corrected mya cancelled my account and said we weren't a good fit . restarted some how delivered bag today and still same poor produce unusable lettuce, trash, minus the grapes, onions that were soft, trash 8-2-2023.. The quality just isn't there as it was in the past. What happened to the caring people that were there? I've asked for management/owner to call but nothing. read more

This year for Black Friday they offered a deal to get your first bag for $0.99 if you came back so I jumped on it. They truly have the best customer service, I got a call to go over everything and confirm my order. So, I'm usually pretty nice and give people the benefit of the doubt. However I stopped by this place today and there's a guy standing outside on the phone. I start to walk in the door and he says "Excuse me." When I replied, he said "we're an online store," ask me absolutely nothing else, and then he got back to his phone call. So as far as I'm concerned this place will not be getting my business. That's a shame because I was going to give my very interested in this type of thing son a gift card for Christmas and he would have used it and probably subscribed to them. Oh well. There are some great things about this company and its service, but the things they get wrong must be corrected. Local fare claims you can choose from 16 different products each month, but that is not true. No place on their site tells the options for the upcoming service. You can choose to add on items, but that is not the claim they make. I submitted an email asking how I could select the products I wanted to receive each month but got nothing. I don't care for some of the items that came in previous deliveries, and with no way of customizing my order, I canceled my subscription. You can imagine my surprise when I was charged the next month and got a message that my next order would arrive soon. I noticed that others who had canceled subscriptions mysteriously had their subscriptions reinstated. This is fraudulent. I attempted to cancel my subscription again but found that THERE IS NO WAY TO CANCEL on their website, and Local Fare is in no hurry to respond to messages asking for help about canceling. I ended up calling my credit card company and filing a fraudulent charge. I sincerely wish Local Fare provided customers with the ability to select the items because that's a service I would pay for. I wish team members responded to questions and concerns from customers. I wish there were a way to cancel online. read more
