Kevin came to my condo to work on a few different things, including painting several walls, repairing some drywall, and recaulking around my kitchen counter. Initally, I was really happy with his work. I noticed a week or two later that the caulk was still wet. I reached out to Kevin to ask what to do. He said that the caulk itself may have been bad and that he would come back to fix it. We were trying to find a time, then he stopped responding. I reached out multiple times over several weeks with no response. I had to find (and pay) someone else to take care of this. I'm very disappointed as I was hoping to use Kevin again in the future, but will not work with him again after this experience. read more

Kevin with Local Handyman Pros was really great. I initially found him on Thumbtack but contacted him directly to book his services. He was flexible with scheduling a time to come out to one of our rental properties. He was on time, extremely professional, and was respectful of our property and our tenants. I had him come out to fix a handrail that was not properly installed. It was a bit of a tricky fix being that we were securing it to a very think plaster wall backed by cinderblock. Luckily, Kevin came prepared with all the tools and parts that he needed. After securing the handrail Kevin went above and beyond by plastering the holes and painting the patches. I was super impressed when he brought out a hairdryer and heat gun to speed up the process. Afterwards he thoroughly cleaned up after himself. Very professional and thoughtful initial email on options to manage tv cables, prepared in person with cover options for drywall, and flexible when the premade covers were too large for the drywall space and had to be sawed down same day to fit.
