So delicious! I love this food truck and everyone is so nice. The food is always tasty and super fresh from local places. I would totally recommend finding where they're located and stopping by! Check out @goodeatswithjenn for more reviews!

We've been here twice since they opened their brick & mortar location. Both were excellent. We had the piadines first visit, and this time tried the Burger and the BLT (which is a special - it's not in their main menu.) The food was super good, and definitely unique for Tuscaloosa. The BLT is on Texas toast and has white bbq sauce. My husband had the burger and he loved it. It has pimento cheese and bacon jam on it. He explained it as a "gourmet burger". Building was clean, and service was friendly both visits. Def recommend!

I really like getting lunch at this food truck just because it's a change from the dining halls or the fast food restaurants in the ferg! They also accept dining dollars and Bama Cash so that's a plus! You can find this food truck on most school days in front of either Gorgas library or Reese phifer for lunch hours and I think they're in front of the dorms for dinner sometimes. I get the local roots burger and the fries and man it is soooo good! The burger is super juicy and the bun just makes it that much more awesome! The fries are okay - they aren't really crispy but I do really like the sriracha aioli that comes w it. I definitely recommend this food truck for students who get tired of dining hall food!

burger and aioli fries they are to die for you have to try them!!

I got the yellowhammer and let me tell you it had the most perfect cheese pull. $10 for the sandwich only, but you could upgrade and add chips and a drink as well-not sure the upgrade price it's not on the menu. If I see Cheese Louise again-I'm gonna try more sandwiches. Delicious and fairly priced.

It can be found outside of Nott Hall most weekdays and on the Strip for dinner and late night options. Again, check out their social media to see more precise details each week. They're not quite as diligent as Local Roots or Little Poblano, but I've found the information to be accurate. They're also available for c They offer pretty much exclusively grilled cheese sandwiches, chips, and drinks; you can also get a PB&J or cookie with icing on cinnamon toast. Their menu is posted online and they have a large array of really creative, tasty sounding sandwiches; be aware, though, that I think they only offer a few of each kind every day. For example, there are 9 different sandwiches posted online, but only 4-5 were listed on the side of the truck when I visited. I'm not sure if you can request for one not listed to be made on a particular day to be made special. I tried the Yellowhammer, which is made of pepper jack cheese, chicken, bacon, ranch, and chipotle sauce. No chips for me, as they only had bbq or vinegar flavors available. The bread was toasted really nicely and had a great crunch. It was an ooey-gooey mess, which was a double edged sword; it captured the joy of grilled cheese, but is admittedly hard to eat without making a huge mess on a bench outside class with no napkins in sight. Some of the cheese oozed out too much and glopped onto the container. It was a sad loss. I must admit, I was a little disappointed in the filling of this sandwich. I could really only discernibly see small chunks of bacon. I was hoping for large pieces of chicken, either grilled or shredded, but I honestly couldn't find any, though I could taste it. My best guess is that it was almost like a chicken, bacon, ranch dip inserted into the sandwich - there was a sort of grainy filling in there that wasn't cheese. I didn't like the texture, but my description makes it sound grosser than it was. Other than the texture, it tasted fine, although I never got any hint of ranch flavor. Still, I was expecting pieces of bacon and chicken, not so finely chopped I could barely discern it. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my sandwich enough to make me want to try and come back for a different one - perhaps the Mac n cheese grilled cheese (the "Macdaddy") or the pizza inspired one (the "Godfather") or maybe even the one with fried rice, which sounds weird and delicious at the same time (the "Chopstick") will suit my palate a bit more. Although I wasn't bowled over by this truck, I would recommend giving it a try! I will update my review if I find a sandwich I like more. Update: I found a sandwich I liked more. Try the "Macdaddy" - Mac and cheese, Colby jack cheese, chipotle sauce, and bacon. Super yummy! Although I'd still maybe like a bit more bacon. ;) Also! The girls running the truck are super nice and friendly. Try this truck!

We had just left Dreamland Bbq hungry and disappointed with ribs that tasted bland and boiled. Archibalds ribs were full of flavor, tender and had a nice vinegar sauce, he assured me they were Gluten free and I ordered Beans and potato salad as well. The beans were good but a little sweet for me, and the potato salad was ok as well. My spouse had the Whiting and Fried okra which was not gluten free but said they were really great! We left full and happy! Great prices too, very reasonable!

Archibald's is coming to Birmingham, so I decided to try the original over lunch today…read more I ordered the small mixed plate with ribs and pork. It was a TON of food. Nobody needs the large mixed plate (unless you're sharing it?). The ribs were salty with just a kiss of smoke. Far superior to Dreamland and fall-off-the-bone tender, I thought they were alright. They were moist and very porky. The chopped pork was watery with very little flavor. I wasn't a fan of the bbq sauce either- it mostly water with flecks of yellow mustard and heavy on the black pepper. I'm certain it was just a small container of their mop sauce used in the pit to moisten and flavor the meat as it smokes. Coleslaw was fine. Zesty with a mayonnaise base. There was the distinct bite of dill pickles. I think they just use leftover dill pickle juice to moisten it. The star of the show was the potato salad. Zingy with plenty of mustard it perfectly cut the richness of the fatty meats.
