The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding.
We arrived at Volastra late (10:00PM) after our flight from the US. We were hungry and had only one option. We walked into the restaurant and asked if we could sit and get food. The Owner Nico said the kitchen was closed and then told us to wait while he went to see if the chef would make something for us to take away. Nico came back and offered us an option of ravioli and we said YES.
While waiting for food we bought some wine and asked for paper cups to take back to our Bed & Breakfast. Guiseppe, looked at us with horror and said he would give us nice wine glasses and we bring them back in the morning.
Nico brought out our delicious ravioli along with bread, fresh parmesan, silverware, napkins, and plates. He told us to bring it back in the morning.
We went back for dinner a few nights later and the service and food was outstanding. read more
