Simon the owner came out and did a home call for duplication of high security keys. The home call saved a ton of time and it is an awesome service for the customer. I didn't even know that type of service existed. I called I got a great quote, I scheduled the earliest appointment and he promptly arrived and the keys work perfectly. So my friend had to call a locksmith to get his car opened and a new key cut after losing it at riot fest. So we call these guys and Emil (I think?) shows up and gets it open in about 10 minutes and quickly after informs us he has to cut a chip key which will take a few minutes. This person owes me money! I contacted this company over Yelp to get a car's key cut and reprogrammed. Though it's price was 15$ more than the other quote I got, the locksmith replied faster than others, so I just had my wife contact them when my car key arrived. The name of the person was Simon. Simon could not cut the car key properly, he tried to give some bs excuse which neither me and my wife bought it. In addition to that, he said we could get another key from dealer. No I do not need to get another key from the dealer, you have the pay me for the key that you could not cut and made obsolete by mishandling it with your cutter! My only mistake in this transaction was not being at home while all this happened. I know contractors and all service people act and talk different when they are talking to women vs men; and it can be intimidating females to challenge it. I would never pay this person full amount of $125 till fix his mistake. You got away easy by dealing with a naive person. You are not an honest service provider. Dont give that same crap excuse saying you dont charge for cutting under this review, pay for your mistake like a man. As expected, the owner just proved his ethics. This is same as calling a cleaner to your house for cleaning, cleaner can not clean plus leaves dirt and then says *well I actually do not charge for cleaning*. You are totally pathetic! You were paid for a service and it is documented in our messages that clearly includes key cutting, you trying to get out of it by saying you do not charge for it. But you broke the key! Needed to have set of keys done for my car. Contacted a few companies via Yelp and Locksmith Express responded within 20 minutes which is pretty darn fast. I honestly went with them because they were the cheapest in the bunch. Turned out to be a pretty good experience. They do not have a shop, they would come to where you are for a fee which is pretty decent. The guy showed up on time has made me my keys also pretty quickly, programmed them for my Honda and everything still works perfectly well. Getting locked out doesn't happen than often so you're always worried about getting taken for a ride. Called Simon and he was at my home in 30 minutes which is pretty tough given it was rush hour. He took a look and told us the price up front and ensured us no damage to the lock so that was a relief. He got it done in time for us to get the kids to school - we were worried about missing the morning so another win for us (kids were bummed) so it worked out. Under $200 and totally worth it! These guys we're awesome. I just called them for a quick quote along with about 5-6 other companies and they were the most reasonable with the most experience. We had to get our mailbox key and lock replaced after a foreclosure, so these guys were the best. Expect around $90-$140 to replace a mailbox key after calling a few companies, but these guy were able to do it for $90, so it was completely worth it :) The guy who came out showed me everything about locks, levels of security and how to secure my home better.
