However, the most common thing I've used them for is to re-key the locks on my home or to get them to re-key a new lock so it will match the rest of my house. However, any reputable locksmith can do that. What makes Goen special is their customer service. On Saturdays, they close at noon. I called them at 11:50 and told them I needed two locks re-keyed and asked if he could do them if I could get there. Daniel told me to "C'mon." Due to traffic, I got there at straight up noon. He had stayed open and waited. In 10 minutes, I was out the door with two matches locks. This type of customer service is why I keep coming back. I encourage you to shop small. Develop relationships with your small business owner. They need the business but in turn, will go the extra mile for you. Bottom line - Fantastic local business with excellent customer service. Trash came that night and my smart key/remote starter went with it. Sigh. John, the owner of First Class Locksmith, answered the phone and was unbelievably kind! He quote me around $130.00 to have a duplicate made. If I didn't have my spare car key to drive then he would have had to come to my location (which they do, by the way), but it would've been a lot more expensive. So, only $130.00, and that is about half of what the dealer chargers. Oh and, John needed to go look up the key and see if they had it in stock and asked if he could call me back - within 20 min he called. He truly shows his customers that he cares. You can tell just from first impression. He's just a cool, down to earth person.
