We used them for all my mom's hail and wind damage. They replaced the house roof, the roof on dad's hobby house, two doors, the siding, and some other damaged things. They were punctual and very polite and nice to my elderly mother. Dwayne Lockwood was very responsive when I would text with a question. The roof is fine. The problem was with how everything was handled with my insurance company. The final bill was different than the initial invoice they sent to the insurance company. The insurance company refused to pay the difference without documentation. They were never able to explain/document the increase to the insurance company's satisfaction. Their measurements, for instance was one of the things the insurance company cited because they didn't "back out the space for the chimney" and amount of materials never lined up with the insurance company's estimate. It was a huge mess going back and forth with them and the insurance company. As a result, I ended up paying the difference. I have full replacement coverage and I wasn't supposed to pay anything out of pocket, but it didn't work out that way. The insurance company was never able to get satisfactory documentation and they finally closed the claim. read more

We had Lockwood & Sons do our roof replacement and were thrilled with their work. They showed up at 0745 and by 1345 they had the work completely done (we have a simple straight roof). They left our yard in even better shape than before because they picked up some old shingles around the house that I hadn't had a chance to pick up. We had put up a tarp on a section of roof before we called them. They took down the wood we had nailed around the tarp edges, removed the nails from the boards and neatly stacked them. We had a few items on the ground from other work we are having done and they asked before moving them out of the way. Super professional, efficient and friendly every step of the process. I contacted Lockwood & Sons based off of a recommendation. I received a bid to replace siding on my house. I excepted their bid and tried to schedule the work. Lockwood and Sons never responded to my request to schedule the work. I tried again, they told me they were busy but felt that they could complete the job within a month. I requested that they inform me when a date to complete the job could be determined. I never heard back from them. This is terrible customer service and speaks volumes about the quality of this company. I would not let them touch my house. There are plenty of companies out there who will appreciate your business and treat you right. read more

We live out of state and the owners were very nice to take the time to answer all my questions and send me after photos.
