We'd stayed well past opening time and were not rushed, we were treated like family, and that's more than we could have asked for. The compassion and kindness that we felt was everything. Over the past few years, we've always been very pleased with how Confederate Ridge has taken care of our girl. Surgery, diagnosis of skin problems (that we'd been paying for injections at $100 a pop at another vet, who completely misdiagnosed and overcharged us), and general checkups - always on point. We could tell she was loved and cared for by staff whenever we showed up. There's usually a wait to be seen, and appointments can take a while to get with how popular CRAH has become. Even though we live over an hour and a half away, I'd still come back here if we add to our family again.

I normally go somewhere else for preventative care for my pups. My golden needed immediate attention and England Run was more than happy and willing to get my boy seen as soon as possible. Tiffany was AMAZING! She grabbed all my pet's information prior to my arrival for a seamless experience. As soon as we arrived vitals were taken and we went straight into a room. The lady who helped with triage was so kind and patient with my questions and detailed information of what was happening to my boy. When the Dr. Peterson came in, she was very thorough, she was kind, gave me all the information I needed to make the best path forward for my boy. He started progressively getting better shortly after our visit, thanks to the England Run team! A week later I called to get records resent and Rockstar Tiffany was able to get them sent over and Erin was kind enough to provide me with additional information I needed as well about my boy's visit. They were soothing, compassionate and made a concerted effort to ensure that everyone knew what the process is and that it went quickly with no pain or suffering on our fur baby. They even had a room designed just for this where you could sit comfortably with our pet and see the differnt options for cremation or remembrance of our Peanut. We got a clay impression of Peanuts paw to remember her by. If the care and comapssion they showed for euthanasia is that same they show for regular pet vet services, I would recommend them to all my friends. We will 100% go back there once we decide on another dog.

We did, they saw my dog and gave us an ear solution to pour in and massage his ear and then he'd shake his head and try to shake it out after we were done. We did this with him time to time and eventually he healed up and was all good again. Vet said some dogs are just more sensitive to something's than others. So decided to take him in. Wait time was very very very long. Girl at front desk wanted us to fill out forms online on our phone I asked do they have paper forms because we had trouble trying to pull the forms up on our phone, and she said we do. But we finally loaded papers on the phone. Sat in the lobby for a long long time, then finally got into a room, waited there a long long time too, finally the assistant came in took my dog to get some test done, brought him back sat there some more time for a while finally the veterinarian came in told us what he had, Interdigital Dermatitis and what she was giving us and she spoke very fast and I asked if they could do a nail trim. She said they can do that for us. She left, waiting even longer I counted at least 7 people walking past our cracked open door. About 25 minutes waited. 3 girls were just standing and sitting at the front lobby desk talking and the other 4 came up talked to them about stuff and walked back to where ever they came from. Finally one of the girls came took our boy back to get his nails trimmed. Came back and we were happy with the nail trim. I asked how much the cone was that they were trying to get us to buy. Something like $25. 00 I said I have one at home same size we will use that I bought from petco and kept. Thank God for keeping that cone . We were finally happy to get out of that place. Took up most of our day. The doc did say I can keep giving my dog Benadryl with the antibiotics they were prescribing for us. While giving that antibiotics to him and Benadryl at different times he still wanted to get to his foot and chew, had to watch him closely even when he had the cone on. But after a while I guess they kicked in and worked. He's doing much better now. Thanks to the antibiotics. Anyways we came here because Saturday our vets office was closed and this place was open. I am very displeased with the wait time especially for an emergency facility with lots of people there. There's a place up north where we used to live that I wish was down here near us called Pender Veterinarian Centre. They were the best of the best!!!! No issues at all with that Place. One of my past pets had an issue we called while driving him there for an emergency and I carried him up the steps through the door the people at the desk said go through the doors to the back while one opened the door for me. They opened another door and I was carrying him through and saw 5 people around the table ready to help my dog that I had in the past. They all were ready to help my baby boy. Made me feel like this places is going to help and treat my dog. I miss that place soooo much. Eventually he relaxed and was almost fine. He was not going to allow an exam though. Dr E wanted to leave in good terms with scrap and we scheduled another appointment. Any other vet would have muzzled him and gone on with exam. This is what separates him from all other vets. He truly cares for the animal and it's not all About making the most money and getting them in and out quickly. Absolutely an amazing doctor!!!!

They have just lost a dog loving person who will not be doing adventure trails again.i was doing this on my days off Tuesday and Saturday and Sunday. So I took today and Friday off in hopes to spend time with Louie. When I started taking dogs out I took plenty of pics and all the dogs were adopted Louie has not been adopted yet but I'm sure he will be soon.they never told me you could not take the same dog out.this place needs a new manager. We adopted a very sweet dog from the Fredericksburg Animal Shelter. She was described as a…read more7-year-old mixed breed who enjoyed playing but was also happy to sit quietly indoors with us. We are an elderly couple and reside in an over 55 community, so we did not want a dog that was too energetic. She is a sweet dog, and we love her and are trying our best to work with her. That is the good part. Hint: We found a vet who agreed to work with us/her. The vet prescribed Prozac for anxiety. NOW! This SPCA seems to be a sloppy organization. 1. When we got there, a staff member pointed to a door and said that we could go there and see the animals. We didn't need a lot of directions, but we had to find the dogs on our own by following our own noses. 2. We had to wait a long time to meet the dog. 3. The answer to every question about the dog was, "I don't know." 4. The paperwork we received about the dog described her as 2 years old and gray. Her age on the cage was 7 and she IS brown. When the inaccuracy of the paperwork was brought to their attention, the answer was "that's ok". 5. We were ignorant and just accepted the mixed breed description. Mixed breed, perhaps but many people have stated that she looks like a pit. This has caused us a lot of grief in our over 55 community. 6. We were told her bad points are she doesn't like her butt touched & is afraid of syringes. Truth: Although she is a sweetheart to us and other people, she will not tolerate any vet. 7. She was so dirty when we got her that before going home, we had to take her immediately to PetSmart for a bath. 8. PetSmart could not bathe her with the neck collar from the shelter on and it was so tight that they were unable to get it off. The collar was so tight that my husband had to cut it off. Poor dog. How could any shelter allow a collar to be that tight?! This shelter should be investigated regarding truth in advertising and animal care.
