FAST FOOD: I ordered the Celeriac with Forest Mushroom soup which was amazing. While I waited for it to cool down I ate the crostini which had some kind of tapenade. The waitress seems to think the base is made from the bottom part of the celery stalk, but had a pea soup kind of taste with a chicken broth. The forest mushrooms also were amazing. We also had the Reuben and the Caprese sandwiches, both were great, the Caprese could have used maybe a little more pesto sauce or balsamic. Atmosphere: great restaurant, there's a patio but it was cold so we sat inside, they have a beautiful bar and you can see the chef cooking away. Music playing in the background. Service: Excellent, the two young girls and young men were taking care of all the tables and cooking. Tip: Try the soup.

This is full of flavour and one of the best local IPA's I've found so far. The barman came over with some olives and I spotted another beer I wanted to try so we moved inside and had a Tank 7 which is a hoppy American pale ale by Boulevard they had on tap. We were given even more olives! We love olives! :D This bar also has a lovely upstairs area with a sunroof and plants and its would be a nice place for a chilled couples brunch. They also serve a range of food including Greek salad and tart flambee which is an Alsace pizza with bacon, onion and cheese on a very thin base and a great choice.

They have good scones and cakes, which are served with generous butter/jam doses. It's really weird but at some point we ordered some fancy tea that I swear it smelled like chouriço. This of course confused all of my senses, seeing tea, knowing it's tea, but smelling smoked ham. No help at the end, when the flavour was really ham-tea.. a new creation! The space itself is also quite nice and I really liked the artsy pattern they had on the wall, with the place's name. They're located in an area that does not have that many cafés (or at least I did not come across them yet) so drop by for a visit :)

Instead, I got a brownie with caramel sauce which wasn't on the menu. It was good but not excellent. Now for the service, it could have been way better. Our server forgot to bring us water which we asked for and she also forgot to bring us the dessert menu even though we specifically asked for it after we had finished our meals. When we were about to get the bill, she was standing by another table for a good 15 minutes talking to someone who appeared to be a friend. She didn't even look our way. There werent enough servers for this place and she still decided to talk to a friend and ignore her customers. After a while we managed to get a hold of someone else for our bill. I disliked the fact that dishes were served haphazardly. Sides, which must be ordered separately, were all served before most of our other selections. The grilled vegetables were over seasoned. The fish was delicious but came out after reminding my waiter that we had ordered it. Unlike other restaurants we tried where we were always provided with a carafe of water, here we were served a small glass and it was extremely difficult to get a servers attention for a refill. It was also very difficult to get our check at the end of the meal. We finally walked up to the front of the restaurant in order to pay. In my opinion, this restaurant is probably more suited to a light meal with cocktails rather than an actual dinner.
