I am a new customer to Logix, Tarzana branch. As never being a customer of a Credit Union, I am extremely impressed with the service and friendliness compared to many of the large banks. My dealing with Jonathan Roldan on establishing a membership and opening accounts went very smoothly. The personal service is great. At the front desk, Khristal was welcoming and very polite. I have never met the Branch Manager Nancy Nuno in person, but have communicated with her by email and she was very cordial and courteous. Sharing my first time into a Logix store ever which was not the best experience. When I approached the front desk rep working on 9/4 at 11:00-11:36, I came with the request to simply talk with a loan officer. The exchange that followed was not pleasant and when I noted this to the rep, the response was "that's how you are taking it" which lead me to want to speak with the manager to complete my reasoning for coming in. In the future, if someone is asking that question, what I would have preferred is for them to simply say: "to speak with a loan officer, an appointment is needed. Can I make you an appointment?" I would have made my appointment and came back at the time set. Hope my future interactions with logix reps will be different as this is the location that I would like to go into if ever needed. I will not recommend this logix location. I've been banking with them for over 10 years with them now. I tried to ho to this bank yesterday but I didn't like the ambiance at all and the staff were not cordial. You could tell that they are not happy with there job, especially the person in front. She's not friendly at all. I've been to different branches but this location, I will never go there again. I was planning to open a business account, changed my mind. Lost a potential customer. I'm planning to close my other accounts there too. The staff there needs a better training for customer service. read more

Worked with Logix on an auto loan and while the staff was friendly enough, the process ended up being quite a headache most notably due to some degree of unprofessionalism. In particular, my loan officer ghosted me in an appointment I had set up with the dealership. I had called the branch and he could not be found for over half an hour and nobody knew what was going on. We eventually found him and the appointment went smoothly; but then a week or so later my loan officer basically disappeared without a trace. I contacted Logix via email to see how I could finalize the details of financing my loan and was left in the dark. When I called logix, they were unable to find any details about my loan, my account, and I was put on hold for quite a long time until they figured it out. They told me since this loan officer went on leave they would need to start the process over again with another in person appointment (despite previously being told everything could be done online or over the phone). I'm moving to a different branch and am hopeful that my experience will be better, but I would avoid the Tarzana branch for their lack of professionalism and transparency. One additional star for the kind front desk and also the great competitive rates that Logix offers, also credit unions are always better than corporate banks. read more

We have been members of Logix for over a decade now. I rarely go inside a branch since I'm able to handle most business online. But I needed to deposit some checks and get some cash for Christmas gifts. So I went inside this location. I was going to a restaurant across the street and happened to see Logix so it was perfect. It is off a side street with no apparent signage from the street. So it would be easy to miss. If you get to Tj Max, you've gone too far. The staff working were very friendly to me and my kids. While I was working with the teller, the front desk attendant offered my kids free coloring books and cute little colored pencils. They loved them. On my way out I noticed that they had calendars so I grabbed one for my mom who still uses paper calendars. When I looked at the pictures, I noticed that the calendar was comic book style and super cute. So I'm keeping it! :) Anyway Logix has almost always provided exceptional service to me. It's also nice that they have such well thought out freebies. We'll be back to visit this location for sure when in the area. read more

Branch Manager Nancy Nuno helped me with recent issues I was having with wire transfer from logix to my wells account. The minute I walked in I was welcomed and introduced to the branch Manager Nancy Nuno. Let me just say there is not enough stars for me to put for her service. Just the fact she took her time to help me to solve my problems her branch has all my business going forward. I have 2 auto loans 3 personal loans and while she was helping me to sort out my wire transfer we applied for a HELOC with her. If you need a car loan or any personal loan I highly suggest you to go to this branch and ask for Nancy Nuno. We absolutely love this branch. We'll even go out of our way to consistently go here because we're treated like family. Opening up an account here for our business was a great decision. We always look forward to coming in. Staff are always so attentive, patient, kind and personable. We go 1-2 times a week, so we get to see everyone quite often. Andrea, Sabrina, Travis, Zulley, Lyza and Katherine, we LOVE you guys and appreciate your sincerity. Don't ever leave us! Haha. This location is always smelling fresh, clean and they even have a self serving coffee station. How cool is that! As some reviews have mentioned parking is limited or the spots that are available are extremely compact but the staff mentioned-above make it well worth the extra walk or minor parking inconveniences. They is also meter parking on the main street. Unfortunately, I could not give this review 5 stars because of my experiences with Nadine. About 3/4 weeks ago, I walked in and was greeted by Travis, who guided me to her at the first window. I'd never seen her before. Thee entire interaction was very awkward and uncomfortable. She shared with me that she was a supervisor and asked me a lot of questions about our business. She kept having trouble processing my checks. She asked a teller for help and every single time the teller, who always helps us just fine, would tell her something she would completely go against it and give off this stubborn, unprofessional vibe. She had an attitude towards this teller and did not come off one bit appreciative. I was completely put off by it and even felt bad for anyone who has to work with her. Then she gave me my total and it was not what I had calculated. I shared that I tripled check my count but I could be wrong and she said she double checked hers then asked how many checks I brought in. I'd never been asked that so I don't usually have that count. Later that week the count was not what she provided and was what I had. We don't mind that it changed, I was just put off by her demeanor of having to be right. Two weeks later I walk in and she's at the front desk. She shares with me that they're short staff and I said, "That's ok, it's understandable. The flu is going around. We just got over it two weeks ago." She quickly fixes her mask over her nostrils because it was sitting below them before I shared that. She says, "Oh. I can't share if it's the flu. Ya know, HIPPA." About being short staffed. Then a woman walks in and Nadine says, "Hi. They'll be right with you. We're short staff. Staffs all getting sick." I was so confused. Haha. She then starts micromanaging the tellers, telling them what to do from the other side of the window and almost hovering over the customer they were helping. The women in line behind me and myself were in no rush. SUPER UNCOMFORTABLE, AGAIN. Sabrina came to the front desk and Nadine went in to help the women behind me. Within a matter of 1-2 minutes I was done being helped and she did all that for nothing. I get her wanting the best service but was acting like a helicopter parent necessary? And treating the tellers as though they are incompetent? She just comes off rude and narrow-minded. At this point, when I do go in I hope she's not there or plan to avoid her if she's at a window because her behavior is very wishy washy, I feel she does not have enough experience as a teller and she makes me very uncomfortable. I have been a member of Logix for many years, originally in Woodland Hills and now in the new location on Ventura and Yolanda in Tarzana. The Financial Services Officer Sabrina was really helpful in assisting with initiating the process of obtaining a loan and making the task much less stressful. They have a neat system setup on their site so that you can pick a branch, and make an appt. Its interactive & ez and you have choices of days and times. Very cool. Parking, 90 minutes, is free and just underground behind on Yolanda, with an elevator or stairs up to the street. So just to validate other reviewers, most who have had the same experience....if you're not satisfied with your current bank, it's worth giving this credit union a try. I might add, their online banking, and e-deposits are great and ez to use. Kudos to the new location and staff!!! read more

Horrible bank. I had to fight with them every time I wanted to make a purchase from Simplex even though I made a purchase several times a month, they denied it and I would HAVE TO CALL. Then they limit the amount you can spend per month so when I need more I have to call again. Now they denied a money transfer to my checking to cover bills even though I have plenty of funds in my savings bc THEY transferred $$ AND CHARGED ME for the transfer I didn't authorize. I see today they deducted $60 bc I didn't have the funds in my checking to cover bills yet THEY DENY my transfer to my checking bc of this and they transfer it from MY SAVINGS AND CHARGE ME FOR IT. Recently I tried to transfer $$ from my savings to my checking, it was denied bc they, logix transferred 6 times to cover bills..I tried to cover bills but again was denied so they deducted $60 out of my account. Never mind I had over 1700 in my savings. Not only that whwn I would purchase from simplex it was always denied even though I asked repeatedly to add some to my approved vendor, and every time i would have to call to get an approval. Im tired of these little games they play so I opened a new account withVa Desert pacific credit union, hopefully they won't play games like Logxi..im out read more
